Vaska's Mandalorian Armor​

Vaska's armor is chief and foremost a memorial to her fallen wife and son. Once a bright yellow and colored with her clan's sigil, it is now a sorrowed gray and white, with any life and vibrancy ionized out, the ashes of her home blasted in with the ruins of her family's forge. Featuring a standard T-visor helmet, much of the armor's ancillary plating is simply discarded, such as the upper arm plates, pauldrons, waist armor and more, replaced by appropriated soft armor from elsewhere. This lack of armor is ostensibly for freeing movement, but the real reasons are Vaska's alone. ​

LEGALITY​

Mandalorian armor- typically defined as anything bearing the cultures iconic T-visor- has been banned in Sith space as a part of the Mandalorian Cultural Repression laws meant to curb the peoples individualistic and rebellious tendencies. Outside of Sith space, the armor doesn't tend to invite any further scrutiny than other armors in its class, and local jurisdictions vary widely.​

Functions​

Function 1: Voice Scrambler

• Built into the interface of her helmet, the voice scrambling module is by and large a tool used to intimidate or to pass as a male, reducing the chances of a bounty target underestimating her. The tool is also used to obfuscate her voice outside of her personal comm channel with an alternate setting. The masculine voice presented is almost identical to that of her fallen brother.

Function 2: Gription-Boots

• Gription boots are a catch all term for footwear that contains electromagnets, repulsors, or other tech in the soles and allow for steady movement on ferrous surfaces in microgravity, steep gradients, and even upside down. This functionality must be turned on or off manually by a button or switch.

Function 3: Bola Launcher

• The gauntlet bola Launcher is a useful addition to a bounty hunters arsenal. Single shot, takes several seconds to reload, and has a max range of 12 meters. A successful hit tangles a foe in a strong durasteel wire to slow down or even capture the target.

Function 4: Scout HUD

• Contains a 4x magnifier and Compass.
