"I could not deal with the pain and loss I suffered so many years ago, so I hired a doctor to help me. He operated on my head and removed a part of my brain that was causing the painful emotions. Now I can no longer suffer the pain of loss, sadness, grief or regret. My old face was then gone, so I acquired a new one, a new face that showed my newself."
- My answer I gave when others ask about my Helmet.

"I do not associate myself with those pacifist monks at the temple or their dark dissenters."
- The answer I once gave to those who mistook me for a Jedi or Bogan.

"It does not matter if the Republic or the Hutts come out the victor, it's going to end the same way every war has always ended. The winner will just force their government system onto the rest of the galaxy."
- My opinion on the Republic and Hutt War.

"I walk the shaded path. Not of Light, not of Dark, but the road in the middle. My road. My shaded path is the path that I will make the decisions that reflect myself, and the truth I choose to believe."
- The current path I walk.

DEXTERITY: 6/10
CONSTITUTION: 9/10
INTELLIGENCE: 7/10
WISDOM: 7/10
CHARISMA: 4/10

COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE:
One would recognize his face as a dark armored helmet with a single green ocular lens sticking out where the eyes would be. Below the helmet is light grade hand crafted Armour that was created by it's wielder and painted black instead of white like most of the others are. It all remains under the black leather fabric that makes a trench coat, something that has been modified with a hood attachment incase he lost his face and several latches and pockets to hold ammo clips and grenades, as well as several weapons.

No one alive has seen beneath the helmet that Valek calls his face, not even Valek himself knows what he once looked like before he acquired the helmet.

PERSONALITY:
Valek had lost most of the feelings he had in him through extensive training, a lobotomy operation and living life he has put himself through, and he only has several he will accept and not accept. One would say he has developed a rather unflappable, almost stoic personality from both his loss and his extensive training he has put himself through to become a ruthless fighter, and they would be right. Valek is mostly devoid of love, humor, kindness, care, and one would assume pain as most other feelings one would think were long gone in him. He has no problem taking the life of anyone he feels is a threat to him, and usualy feels nothing afterwards. Valek is mostly the strong silent type, speaking only when Necessary and then only in sentence fragments. When he does speak however, he makes sure he is heard.

LIKES AND DISLIKES:
Surprisingly, Valek has something that he still has a liking too, which happen to be both food and weapons. One would say a Warrior has to eat to stay healthy, and Valek does so with at least a meal once a day of both meat and vegetables, both cooked. Weapons are the other thing that Valek desires, and while he prefers his Semi-Auto Rifle, Magnum, and Longsword. He always finds a good use to other weapons he encounters, from mere slugthrowers to sniper rifles to rocket propelled grenade launchers. He rarely uses his lightsaber, only when he encounters an enemy with one and when he needs to use it as a tool.

There is not much that Valek dislikes, other then stupid people and Pacifists. Someone who is not willing to fight for there lives and would rather die not fighting is worthless. The Jedi Order is something else that Valek despises, especially when he is accused of being one.

STRENGTHS:
Valek has great craftsmanship, sword training, and an edge with most firearms. He has both great strength in his arms and legs, making him deadly in close quarter combat with is longsword. Giving his training in both Close and long range combat, there are few who can actually survive a deadly encounter with this Warrior. Some would say he even has the strength to stand up against a Jedi in mêlée combat.
  • Excellent in Firearm and sword/lightsaber combat, even when using a blade and handgun at once.
  • Can craft armor, blades and firearms if he has the resources, as well as modifications.
  • From his extensive training, Valek has a high strength and agility that aids him in battle.

WEAKNESSESS:
However, his personality and attitude sometimes gives him more trouble then even he can handle. Some think he is without a tongue when he never speaks and his blunt, monotone, no nonsense attitude works little to none when he actually does talk to someone. His overconfidence is also his weakness, thinking there are none in the galaxy who can defeat him by themselves.
  • Over confident in battle at times.
  • Speaks in very serious monotone voice in sentence fragments when talking to others he is not familier with. Always serious and straight to the point and lacks most social skills others usualy have.
  • Tends to get migrains when he is around more then a few Force Users. The more in the area, the worse it gets. He also recieves shocks from them when they touch him while he is off guard.

EQUIPMENT:
Note: Most weapons and armor were crafted by Valek in his Corellian weapons factory.

Weapons:
Magnum
Magnum2-1-1.jpg

A high powered magnum of slug thrower variety with a six shot chamber. Crafted by Valek, he has made it his signature weapon that fires large, yet powerful shots from his gun. They are loaded with either hollow point rounds that are fatal to targets with little to no armor or loaded with ultra-sharp, flat-nosed round SWC rounds, He always carries his magnum in his longcoat pocket.

Assault Rifle
AssaultRifle.png

A high powered assault rifle with auto and semi-auto settings and of slugthrower variery. Crafted by Valek, he made this his his one weapon to use when he would need extra fire power and it gets the job done. It can be fitted with either hollow point rounds or armor piercing rounds. He has a strap on it so he may carry it over his shoulder or back, and can de-attach itself so it may fit into a carrying case.

Shotgun
Shotgun.jpg

A strong slug thrower rifle that shoots several slugs in a wide spray up close. Crafted by Valek, he made this his weapons when he would be up close or be in close quarters. It can be fitted with either normal shotgun slugs or sabot armor piercing rounds. He has a strap on it so he may carry it over his shoulder or back.

Grapple Gun
GrappleGun2-1.jpg

Purchased and modified by Valek, the grapple gun is a useful tool that can help him scale walls, buildings or other high places that he cannot reach through other means. It can hold twice his armored body weight.

Katana
katana-1-1.jpg

A curved, slender, single edged blade with a Cortosis-weave. Crafted by Valek, it was his main weapon of choice for melee combat before he got his lightsaber.

Dagger
Dagger.jpg

A large combat blade crafted by Valek that has a cortosis-weave. It is strapped to his left thigh and acts as a back up blade in most situations.

Lightsaber
Lightsaber.jpg

A single bladed lightsaber with a green crystal inside it. Crafted by Valek when he was with the Shade Order. Valek always carries his lightsaber in his other coat pocket and rarely brings it out in public. He uses it more as a tool then a weapon, but will use it against a foe with another lightsaber.

Grenades
Grenade.png

Valek carried atleast four fragmental, four smoke and four flash grenades inside his longcoat. He made the fragmental grenades, but usualy purchases the others. He does not use them often, but when he needs something blown up or a quick escape, he will not hesitate to use them.

Armor/clothing:
  • Light Grade Armor: A pair of light weight armor that Valek built and wears over a black undersuit. The armor is painted black and has some small energy cells in it to power his helmet.
  • Dagger Helmet: A standard issue Dagger helmet. It is painted black with a green ocular lens. It offers protection, voice amplifier, communications channel, night vision view, small scanners and a recording device built onto the ocular lens. Valek made it when he turned eighteen, and after the lobotomy opperation, considered the helmet to be his actual face, never removing it infront of others. The piece where the voice amplifier is removable so Valek may eat, drink and clean his mouth.
  • Leather Trench Coat: Valek almost always wears his modified black leather trench coat. He has quite a few of them, all the same modifications as well. They come with a hood attachment, and the front pockets are modified to hold his lightsaber and magnum. Inside is modified to carry his grenades on his right side and ammo clips for his guns on the left.
  • Rancor Leather Trench Coat:Nearly identical to his normal trench coat, but offers greater protection and is dyed black. It's only downside is it's weight, making Valek wear it only in the deadliest of battles.
  • Shade Order Robes and Tunic: Valek has a slightly modified shade tunic and robe, both of black colors. He usualy only wears then when around the Shade Compound or ina important meeting with others.
  • Other Accessories: Valek almost always wears a pair of black leather gloves and black combat boots. When not in armor, he is usualy found wearing a black combat shirt and pants.

SHIP:
Basic Shuttle with few weapon systems.

FORCE POWERS:
  • Telekinesis
  • Push
  • Pull
  • Jump
  • Speed
  • Leap (Jump and Speed combined)
  • Charge (Push and Speed combined)
  • Sense
  • Telepathy
  • Grip/Choke

UNIQUE ABILITIES:
  • High Pain tolerance: Before learning the ways of the Force, Valek went through a harsh training to perfect his body and mind to tolerate intense pain both physicaly and mentaly.
  • Unstable Force Connection: All his life, Valek had been Force sensetive and never was taken by the Jedi when young. Later on in adulthood, he had strange feelings when he was around other Force Users, and usualy gained strong migrains when in their presence, along with some static on his helmet. After being trained by the Shade Order, he learned to control it, but will usualy recieve a shock to the head and body when he came into contact with another Force User when he was not prepared. This has caused Valek to have a dislike towards the Jedi and Bogan, avoiding them at all cost, and never touched them unless absolutely needed.
  • Armorer: Valek is very experianced with nearly any type of weapon. If he has the parts, he can make, repair or modify almost anytype of gun, as well as armor. He is also known to forge swords and bullets.
  • Dagger Sense: Like most of the members in the Dagger Family, Valek has the ability to have slightly better reflexes in combat, paticularly with guns.

HISTORY:
Not much is known about Valek's past, both of his parents had passed on as he eventually came into his late ages. All of his events recorded here were from his Diary he has written in. Most pages are lost, and have been formatted into when they were each taken place.

ValekDaggerIntro-1-1.png

Age Eight.
Pa has taken me out to see how good I can fire a weapon. We went out to this open field we lived near and I was given a rifle, one similar my Pa carried. We went out hunting these animals for the entire day, and managed to kill several. I managed to get this critter while My pa bagged this huge bear that he managed to shoot straight between the eyes. We took them both home and I watched as my Father prepared both critters, removing the pelts and storing the meat for food. The pelts were later used for clothes when the Winters came to us.

Age Fourteen
Another big day for us, this time Pa took me to where his works with his brothers, and I watched him take several tough fabrics and some sheets of tough metal and watched as he put them together, making what seemed like some sort of Armour. I watched as he made what seemed like some light weight armor, some medium weight Armour, and even a heavy set of Armour, all with matching helmets. The helmets were oddly shaped, they all had one eye and were either red, orange, green, or blue. When I tried on one, there were these little things that went over my eyes and it allowed me to see through the single ocular lens, and everything was green when I looked out through it. I asked my Pa who they were for, and he just laughed and told me one day I would be doing this.

Age Nineteen
Man, school was so boring today. Me and Caroline were going to go out today, catch that new show that was in town, but My Father wanted me to come to the factory first to see something. I promised Caroline that we would go tomorrow and headed off to the factory on my Speeder Bike. When I arrived, My father had just finished some more of the armor he has been crafting as he turned towards me. He offered me a job to work at the factory, to craft Armour and weapons for our family. When I asked who of us would use them, My father laughed and said it was for our entire family: All Dagger Family members. He told be there was something in almost everyone of them that gave them higher senses and awareness that normal people do not have, something that was not of the magic the Jedi called The Force. Not knowing what exactly this is or how it started, he told me that even I had it in me, and that I would soon take his place.

Age Twenty Seven
Life is hard now these days, Since Mother passed away, Father was never himself and worked more often then he used too. My relationship with Caroline has been through for about five years now, and I still miss her. Why did she leave? Why couldn't she understand that I needed to make my Father proud? When I proposed to her, she told me she couldn't live in my life unless I chose between her or my Father, she was wanting to move away from here and go to Coruscant where we could settle down, maybe go to one of those nice Islands on Naboo for a honeymoon. I told her I could not abandon my father and our legacy. She just did not understand...

Age Thirty four
Six years have gone by since Father has passed away, and I promised him on his death bed I would not let him down. But I don't know what to think anymore... What am I going to do with myself? I can feel the urge to pick up a gun, put on some Armour, and go make a name for myself. But what of the factory? The Armour? The Dagger Family Legacy? No... I will not abandon them. I will keep the Corellia Factory running, even if it's just me, I'll get some droids to help out if I have too. Now, I need to pay it a visit... After I craft my Armour and helmet, I will take a journey to the jungles of Naboo, see what I can do with myself. Perhaps I will find out who I really am...

Last Log was two years ago. I do not know what happened to this man, but (Gunshot, sound of body falling as bullet shell hits ground.)

"Found you." A voice said, picking up the journal and stuffing it into pack. Afterwords, sounds of him running are heard, as well as a loud explosion as the place caves in.

"Bloody Thieves..."

Log 28: The Strong Walk.
Was hired by a Male Zeltron to remove another Zeltron who was competing violently with his business. I journeyed towards the town where the target had set up an establishment, and after finding her location, I went up and cornered her, posing as a merc looking for work. Before I knew it, this other man, a scoundrel by the looks of it, broke in for unknown reasons. It was the perfect opportunity I needed as he distracted the target while I shot her in the back of the head. The shot didn't leave much of her head left, but it got the job done.

In thanks for the Scoundrel's assistance, I helped him escape with me while the Law enforcements arrived. We escaped into one of their speeders as we went back to the other town. I let him keep the Speeder and whatever was in it for payment in his assistance, but he continued to follow me, out of curiosity. It was then another man was in the area, one who looked like one of those Damn Jedi, but with a darker tone. He and the Scoundrel seemed to know each other, and that was my cue to leave as he was already drunk from hitting up a bottle found in the Speeder.

Log 29: Crash Landing!
I made camp on Expora today, decided to see if there was anything worth while in the ruins nearby, or maybe to catch some big game. As I finished my dinner, a ship crashed down on the planet nearby and I decided to investigate.

(The rest of the log appears to be damaged and unreadable)

Log 30: The Island Cities
Nothing really happened here today, just a bunch of men in suits and the like. I waited an hour or so for a recruiter before I left for the starport.

Log 31: Enough, but barley so.
Today was most... unexpected. After wiping out some arms dealers for my client and enjoying a glass of milk, I decided to call it a night and retreated to my apartment I was currently renting out. That is when it happened. I received a rather painful migraine when I passed by one of the other Tennant's rooms. I approached and demanded the equipment inside be shut down to stop my helmet from causing the bad frequency, only to find out it was not machinery inside, but a Jedi... or so I thought.

We talked briefly, something I do not normally do myself. But apparently she was not a Jedi, just someone who was capable of using the magic known as "The Force". She was not like the other Jedi who sprouted nonsense to me, but actually made sense... in a way. It was very brief, and I did not get her name when I left. I wouldn't know her name until much later.

Amaterasu.

Log 33: Cruising through the Black Market.
Another hard day in the factory today, just finished a set of armor and put together a few scoped assault rifles. Getting hungry and I'm not really in the mood to cook something. I normally do not get take out, but the diner downtown is decent enough and no one there bothers me. They know I run the factory, that's all they care to know.

So I ordered something filling, but as I waited, something in the area felt different. As I grabbed my food and left, I almost dropped it when a surge of pain struck my head as I passed by two particular people. One of them must have been one of "Them", there was no other explanation.

That was when another approached me, someone who would change my life that day. He was called Quentell Xall, a Shade Knight as he called himself, belonging to neither the Jedi or the Ospion. He explained everything that I needed to know about my condition, that the magic known as "The Force" was indeed inside me. He explained it better then the Jedi ever had, and I invited him to the factory so we could talk in private about this. With everything happening, I forgot all about the hunger.

Log 34: Getting answers.
Me and Quentell briefly talked about my "Condition", and I agreed to go with him to the Enclave where the Order of Shade was. Before going, an Assassin struck at my factory and easily disabled the security defenses I had there. Of all the people who tried to kill me, he was the first to do so with lightsabers and the Force, but was also the first to not succeed. After a long chase from the factory to the spaceport, costing me my speeder and damage done to the factory, me and Quentell escaped the Assassin.

He lived only because Quentell deemed it so, as he saved my life back at the factory and I owned him that. I only hope it was not a mistake to let the fatigued assassin live. We escaped in his ship as we went to the Shade Enclave, a safe haven.

Log 35: Finding my place.
Here I am... The enclave of the Shade Order, the place where I begin a new life. Quentell was my new master in this Order, and he taught me how to command the Force that was within me. There was nothing either of us could do about my migraine, but I managed to ignore it as best I could. I felt myself become more and more intune with the Force as I used it more, and slowly felt an empty space in myself filling. I learned how to use a Lightsaber, and when it came time to make my own, I was forced to leave my face behind, as no weapons or armor were allowed on my journey to find the crystal.

Nearly sixteen hours later, I came back with a green crystal and with it, I constructed the Lightsaber through the Force. It was the first weapon I made without using my hands. After the training and lightsaber construction, I was named Knight of the Shade Order by Quentell. My new life was just beginning.

Log 36: Just watch them.. They're beautiful..
My first mission was to go to Coruscant with Quentell for a yet unspecified mission. We when we got there, we both heard a gunshot coming inside a cantina from the undercity. It turned out to be a Twi'lek by the name of Daveny had killed a Cathar for unspecified reasons of yet, but it turned out that she has a similar case with The Force I do. While Quentell delt with another who was caught in the situation, I managed to persuade Daveny to come with me where I might possibly fix her condition.

---[ALSAKAN CRISIS ROLE PLAYS END]---

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

--Two months after Shade Initiation--

Had to get away from Shade Order for awhile. Need to think on my own for a time and traveled to Coruscant once more. If I chose another job to complete, might be able to think straight. Found one that was paying well and fitted my prefences. Go to lower regions of Coruscant, kill pack of thieves steeling from storage holds that employer owns. None were a problem, that is until I saw what the storage being taken was: Slaves. The thieves were stealing slaves from employer to sell for their own profits. I contacted employer as he and his men arrived to take back their merchendise. However, something in me did not go right. Something about how employer yanked the zeltron slave from her corner, backhanding her before throwing her to his men made the anger suddenly rise in me. So I killed my former employer and his men. I did not know why I did.

I started to leave, headed back to my ship before a voice came yelling for me. I turned around with my magnum aimed right at the Zeltron I saved, she looked at me with little to no fear. I lowered my gun, and asked what she wanted. Apparently, her family is dead and has no one else to turn too. Normaly, I would have turned her away without a second thought, but I didn’t. I asked for her name, and she told me it was Mirialana.

--Three months after Shade Initiation--

What is happening to me? Ever since I took in Mirialana, I’ve been feeling more and more different. I’ve been feeling feelings I should not have; I’m feeling something every time I take a life, every time I meet someone. Why? Why do I have these strange feelings for her aswell? I’ve started to talk in longer sentences even, more then I wanted. I’m going to talk with her, I know its her who is changing who I am, and I’m going to send her away.

--Six months after Shade Initiation--

As I write this, Mirialana is asleep in the bed next to me while my face is sitting on the nightstand. I do not know what to think anymore. Is this Love, the feeling that I abandoned so long ago? I studied Zeltrons a little more as time passed, and they are nearly human just like me, just with unique abilities. Did she see that I was nearly an emotionless shell, and wanted to help me just like I helped her? Did she mean it when she said she loves me when she removed my helmet and I did not stop her? When she placed her hands on the sides of my head, putting her lips to mine while she closed her eyes? I cannot deny it, and even though I should not feel it… I love her.

Screenshot-121.png

Mirialana letting Valek feel how she feels about him. His helmet sitting at the side of the room.

--Ten months after Shade Initiation--

I must be crazy for this, but there is no denying for what we both feel. Me and Mirialana had a private wedding, just me and her. I think I know now what it feels to be human, and I have her to thank. The same night, we made love for the first time in both of our lives, and now I know I have more to live for then just The Shade Order. Nobody besides her has seen my face that I hid under my helmet for so long, and she accepted it with only a smile. We both have eachother, and maybe a more peaceful life then both of us once had.

--Two Years after Shade Initiation--

There is nothing left to discuss. Mirialana is gone, so is our infant daughter Sevanah. Mirialana, my dearly beloved, murdered by vengeful employers from the past, and our daughter was no where to be found. I donned my helmet once more, feeling nothing but anger as I tracked down the murderers, and repaid them kindly before demanding where my daughter was. He spit blood onto my helmet in response, so I snapped his neck in return. I spent weeks looking for her, months even, but there was nothing about her, and I had to accept the worst of it. She was gone, just as my dearly beloved was, and all I really cared for. There is nothing left for me. When I die, it will be either on a job, or in the service of The Shade Order, and I will not shy away from it.

--The following Log is heavily damaged and much information on it is corrupted.--

Nearly five years have passed since I joined the order known as The Shades. I thought I would be able to restart the factory on Corellia. I was foolish to think that. When I returned to my homeworld, the factory was destroyed, no doubt by the Assassins that were stalking be from before. There was nothing left for me on Corellia and I decided to head to the only other place where I could start a new life: Coruscant. Before I left, I was approached by a human who sent me an invitation from The Hutts, Apparently others thought I was still a freelance mercenary working for the highest bidder. Refusing the offer might have been the stupidest thing I ever did.

--The following Log is heavily damaged and much information on it is corrupted.--

They found me. After that ambush on Coruscant, one of the Hutt's men saw me use the Force and informed his masters. The Hutts have grown strong over the past ten years, possibly longer, and they aren't getting any nicer. Not only are the Jedi on their hit list, but almost any other Force User known about the Hutts aswell it would seem, claiming they are Jedi either way. The Ambush happened when I was in my apartment, two came into the window and three came through the door. I took the three out with my Magnum, but I was forced to use my lightsaber when the other got too close, forcing the last one to flee back to the Hutts. I should have killed him when I had the chance, and now the Hutts will think I am with the Jedi and place a price on me aswell. Perfect.

It does not matter, anyone else who tries to take me down will end up like the bounty hunters I just killed. I have no sympathy for them, or their masters.

--The following Log is heavily damaged and much information on it is corrupted. Skipping ahead to next log date. Ten years later.--

I'm getting tired of the attacks, tired of being old despite the fact that the Force makes me feel younger. My appearance has not changed at all though, my face looks as it ever has since the day I acquired it. The war with the Republic and the Hutts has been long and violent, soldiers and criminals fighting eachother for dominance in the galaxy, just like it was with the Republic and the Alsakans, soldiers and fanatics. The Jedi are the same as they always have been, though I see less and less of them on Coruscant then I did twenty years ago. As I look on, It looks like the entire galaxy is on the verge of it's last days, and that something is just waiting to appear to destroy both the Republic, the Hutts, the Jedi and everything else. I have not heard from Master Quentell Xall in many years, and I do not know if he even lives till this day.

For the past ten years I've wondered this galaxy, looking for answers, looking for a reason in my existence. I'm no mercenary, no shade knight, not anymore, those times have passed me by. I saw the Hutt Empire from my time in the Outer Rim, their legion of criminals and those new mysterious warriors they have that make up for their main force. They looked tough, almost like they were bred to kill a Jedi with ease. I did my best to stay clear of that system afterwards, it was suicide to stay due to everything there being under control by the Hutts. I did my best to go undetected while in the Outer Rim, but I was forced to kill a fare share of mercs. I have yet to stand up against their warriors though, the ones they call "Taung". Their leader is a rather large and dangerious looking Taung named "Mandalore", and he looked like he could kill a Jedi without even trying.

I can't do this forever, I know it is only a matter of time before my armor and weapons cant aid me any longer. I will not give myself up though, not like others have. I don't know if the Shade Order is around anymore, or if any of it's members are still alive, but I must find them. I should start looking for an old associate of mine, as well as my former master to do something about these attacks, and possibly this war altogether.

Valek Dagger during the Hutt Wars

---[THE HUTT WARS ROLE PLAYS]---

Log 41: Keep on Keep on running, Old Man.
Quentell Xall is alive, and he was right infront of me when I approached the bar at the Inn I was staying at. I did not know him at first, for it has been a long time since I last saw him, some twenty years. He too was being hunted down by the Assassins who hunt down anyone carrying a Lightsaber and using The Force. I warned him of the situation we were both in, as well as The Shade Order if they were even alive, but a fight broke out in the bar before I could continue.

It was a young Miraluka by the name of Draven Romulous, one who was Force sensetive and was also on the run from others. It was then that I could sense others were on their way and me, Quentell and Draven made a run towards the Hangar where my ship was, but the Hunters caught up with us. Both me and Quentell took down the Hunters, but he was caught off guard by a Duros Bounty Hunter named Bullet. Bullet turned his attention towards me, but I managed to hold him off until Quentell managed to disable the Hunter. I went to my former Master's aid, and before we left, I made it clear to Bullet that I would kill him if I ever saw him or his friends again. After we made it to my ship, me and Quentell decided what to do with Draven, and ended up taking him along as he insisted. In the end, I think I ended up taking on an apprentice of my own. I am unsure how I feel about this...

Log 42: Just A Simple Drink Is All I Want.
This was... a strange day. I had to refuel my ship and stopped by Alderaan to do so. As I waited, I decided to stop by the Cantina to pass the time. What followed was not what I expected. A drunk humanoid was harassing a couple, consisting of an armored male and a female zabrak, and I somehow got mixed into it. The drunk backed down, though I could tell he was nervous around me, I could see it in his face as he left. I went in for some water, the only thing I drink besides milk, and not even ten minutes passed before a brawl broke out. The couple inside did their very best to ignore it and have a good time. I did my best to ignore them, but before I left, I killed a brawler, got thrown across the room by a wookiee, shot dead the same wookiee, and only then was I able to leave. I made it a note to myself to avoid these Cantinas, for they are bait for fights.

Log 43: Impatience in the Armpit of the Galaxy.
My Shade Order beacon went off today, and following it's trail led me to the desert world of Tattooine. It was a rotten world full of Scum who wored for The Hutts, and it took alot for me to land and investigate where the beacon was. I ordered Draven to wait at the ship, since it was far too dangerious for any Force user to be stepping foot on a Hutt world. I wore my old mercenary attire and hid my lightsaber, like I always do as I went down an alley way, the beacon's signal getting stronger. It was then I encountered another Shade Knight by the name of Aden For'hil, another human like myself who was working on assassinating someone working for the Hutts. I respected the way he treated those who served the Hutts and offered my assistance, but not before two more Shade Knights were found in the area: Another male humanoid named Basilak Uprabm and a female Miraluka named River Elluras.

Four Shade members all on the same planet was a very large coencidence, but it was not the time to think as we all agreed to cripple a hangar that was in the Hutt's control. I took care of the communications array while the others did their own things as Aden did the assassination himself. Basilak I do not like though, as he seems careless and overconfident as he handled the situation, even suggesting we meet in a Cantina after this was over. Knowing the dangers that could happen there, I quickly made the decision we would meet in my hangar after the mission, where we would be away from prying ears. When we got there after the Hangar was destroyed in a large explosion, I warned the others about the Assassins that sought us out, and that I was planning something to send them a messege soon. I left Tattooine with Draven, leaving the other Shade members to decide what they wanted to do after they heard my offer.

Log 44: The Return
Hekan Deltev. Never heard of him until today. Apparently a former shade knight who wanted to murder the entire Jedi Order. Fanatical idea that will make oneself a target. He sought forgiveness from us, but we required more then words. So I suggested an idea that he help the Jedi in some way to show. I still hold no love for the Jedi, but so long as we don't get too entangled in their business, we will be fine. Quentell, Basilak, Draven and myself went to accompany Hekan in his mission to Coruscant.

Log 45: Coruscant has lovely sunsets
Arrived at Coruscant the next day. We went our separate ways with Quentell going with Hekan. The afternoon ended with us together again. Apprentice Draven got into trouble and was in a fight with his own mother. I was the last to show up when my apprentice was wounded from the fight. Told Basilak to take him away while I confronted his mother. She could not handle her son becoming a shade instead of a Jedi and took her own life. As we were about to leave, the Jedi grandmaster Colm Lorian showed up, placing us under arrest for a crime none of us committed.

This was also the first time and the closest I was to the Grandmaster of the Jedi. He wanted all who were involved in the incident. Not wanting to make more trouble, I allowed Draven and Basilak to come under the circumstances they would not be harmed in any way. The Jedi Master kept his word. From what I gather, Draven's mother exiled herself for reasons unknown. She did not like the path her son took and attacked him and Basilak. Regardless of what happened, we were allowed to leave, but Draven was only allowed to leave with the lightsaber casing of his mother. When we got back to our ship, I found a note from Draven's mother that Draven must have found. His father was on Tattooine.

Me and Draven left for Tattoine while Quentell and Basilak left back to Thyferra with Henkan. I trust them to decide his fate in the shades judging from what happened here.

Log 46: A destined meeting on Tattooine
So me and my apprentice arrived on Tattooine once again. His father was supposed to be here, and I would make sure that the two were reunited again. We landed in the dunes where a beacon was, and we could both sense someone near the caves. As we approached, a dark power tried to take over in our minds. It was weak, but gave us an idea what was inside those caves. I could sense he was of the Dark Side, but those auras did not mean anything all the time. The father, Drake Marr and son eventually met and things were well until the suicide was brought up. He went to leave for Coruscant to retrieve the body and wanted his son to come. Wanted to teach him the ways of the dark side, but Draven refused.

I told Draven the truth he may not have wanted to hear about his family: His parents were selfish and only cared what they wanted for him. Draven is a grown adult who can make his own path, just as I have.

Log 47: Accidental Family
Much time has passed. Lost track of Draven during his training and could not find him. I returned to Corellia to get away from Shade Order for awhile, to be back at home. Nothing was changing, on Corellia and on Thyferra. However, today was unexpected. Someone named Jeriah Dagger and claimed to be my nephew. I believed him, for his words seemed to be honest. What was most unexpected was the arrival of other members of my blood line. Nieman Dagger. Alicia Dagger. Ozan Dagger. Five members of the same family running into eachother at a Corellia museum. Don't know if coincidence. Meeting went as expected.

Log 48: New Entry
Alot of time passed since last entry. The Shades have done nothing with themselves last I checked. Or it's just because I feel detached from them. Is there really a purpose for me living? I thought I did when Draven became my apprentice. Now he's gone, and I don't even know what became of my nephew Jeriah. It's time I left the station I've been staying on for a few days and went back to the Shades.

It was sooner then expected, for Basilak happened to be there. Ozan was also there, working in the Bounty Hunter Guild apparently. He went to book a seat inside a bar for us to talk. By the time me and Basilak arrived, Ozan had become heavily intoxicated. Something about him does not sit well for me. He's hard to trust. When it became apparent he had nothing but drunk rants and questions, me and Basilak decided to leave and let Ozan sober up. Doubt he will anytime soon. What a waste of time he provided.

Log 49: Decisions, Decisions
Seems it was good thing I returned. Things were changing. Cain Ray was no longer the grandmaster, but now a Aleyn Julius was. Another one there was a man named Belyael Onderyn who was also on the council with me and Quentell. What we discussed was not surprising: Dark Jedi. I encountered only one, but now there seemed to be an order of them called The Bogan. They pose a threat to the Jedi and soon possibly us and every other force user. I don't like getting involved in the affairs of the Jedi and their dark enemies, but if it meant them posing a threat to us, then so be it. We decided to conduct a plan: Travel to where the Dark Side was and retrieve one of these Bogan for interrogation. The plan may very well work.

Log 50: Over head
While the planning of the Bogan capture was underway, I went to find some information myself, as well as work. Found myself on Zeltros, a place I did not want to be on. It brought up memories best left behind. I went into a nightclub called "The Empress". Unfortunately, Ozan was also there but never spotted me, and I made sure he didn't. I briefly met the owner Aife Xan'Coz. She was a typical zeltron, but later observation showed she knows how to make a deal and how to run a club. She was talking to an unspecified species, his name was Viko Othaer I believe. Things went down hill eventually. Ozan got drunk, shot some people, caused property destruction and several casualties. The Empress was a mess when he left. The man that Ozan started a fight with though, Preston Redford survived, as did Aife, Viko and another individual who's name escaped me.

Ozan left the club in shambles, though it seemed that it was not all lost. The names I listed were people who seemed to make a deal with Aife to help out from the mess. Myself included. I gave her what information on Ozan I had and offered to provide better security system for her club for not stopping Ozan when I could. Before I left, an unexpected person arrived at the club: Kitaara Larellan, the business man on the holonets. Never met the man, and only a few words were exchanged between us. Regardless on what Aife does, I told her I would stay until repairs and upgrades were complete. I left her and the others to mingle and socialize while I got to work.

Log 51: The Evil Man
It happened at the Feriae Junction, Junction City. I was on my way for tools and upgrades in the middle of the night from someone I knew. On the way, I came face to face with a Dark Jedi, marking the second one I encountered. He knew I was not a Jedi or a Dark Jedi. He knew I walked the middle path and wanted to know what I was doing, and I told him. Nothing to hide. He then left, though I knew he was up to something. It was not my business however, and I'm not about to ask him about the Bogan by myself.

Next day was unfortunate. I ran into him again after he stole and killed a vendor and several others. He became a fugitive and asked me for a ride on my ship. Part of me wanted to just leave him there and be on my way. He was determined though, unpredictable and dangerous. He was asking for help, and would take drastic action if he was denied that. It was too dangerous and time was slipping, so I agreed. No names, no business stories, no small talk were exchanged. Only the destination we were going: Corellia. He would be dropped off there and I would be able to return to my own duties I have.

Log 52: Deceptive Arts
Suspicions were right. Aife Xan'Coz is not as clean as suspected. She had called to several who were at her club when it was hit by Ozan. The cause? A heist of sort, one that required both force and subtlety.
THE REST OF THE LOG IS CORRUPTED AND UNREADABLE.

Log 53: It's always Darkest Before the Dawn
Shade Order had an assignment. Surprising. So little activity in the Shade Order now, and they require my help. Me and River went to investigate the disappearances of some Shade Members. The cause? Feral, yet intelligent Dark Jedi of sort. The Shades were dead, and the Ferals attacked. We eliminated what ones we could before falling back. No sense in staying and holding the safe house that was now overwhelmed. This was only a clear sign of things to come. The Shades were weakening.

Log 54: The Coming of Light and Dark
So I made the decision. After a few weeks, I had to come to a conclusion. The Shades are weakening, and now they are going to help the Jedi in the war against The Bogan. I can't involve myself in a pointless war. So I left the Shade Order behind me. Basilak was present when it happened. He was saddened.

Log 55: You want a Job, Ernie?
So I left the Shade Order, and now have something better to put my life to. Before I could, I ran into Quentell one more time, and I told him the truth. Not sure if he was pleased or displeased. It does not matter, he had accepted my choice. I told him I was going to hire myself for Aife Xan'Coz. She is a good woman, and I know I may have a better meaning working for her then with The Shades. So I signed myself over to her as a enforcer/security manager. Quentell also hired himself, though for good I do not know.

Log 56: Conclave
Could say this is my last calling to The Shade Order. Only me, Oderyn and River attended as Shades among other Force Users from other orders. The Meeting was held by a Jedi Knight. He tried to rally us all to band together and take the fight to the Bogan and Hutts would eventually try and eliminate us from the Galaxy. I don't know if it would really work, but I had my doubts. I would not allow myself to be drawn into a war that fought for religious beliefs. I gave my statement, told River to do what is right, and left. I never saw River or Oderyn again since then.

Log 57: Destiny Station
Things remain better now that I have fully left The Shades behind. I stood on a station as Aife's personal bodyguard as she did business with others and Jade Galactic. Viko Othaer was one to leave Aife's service and to join Jade Galactic, as did others. Not surprised I was offered a spot before I arrived today. I've seen corporations such as these start, come and go. I already signed myself to Aife and Jade Entertainment, that is where my place is now.

Something was bothering her. I could tell just by a glance. It is not my thing to look into other's heads unless I precieve them as a threat, so I acted on instinct. She told me she was fine and was going to meet with the Republic, and try to settle this dispute. Tanna and myself are to accompany her so she can once more try to get on good terms with the Republic. I may not favor them entirely, but it is better then the alternative.

Log 58: Paying Respects
Remnants of my past still haunt me. I must let go of them. My wife and daughter are gone, and nothing I can do will ever let me see them again. It was the last time I visited them before I encountered my former master Quentell. Now he is leading The Shade Order, and my answer on rejoining them remains the same. It became obvious on the condition of the order, and I told him and Sol that they were dying off. It is inevitable that The Shade Order will soon become the past.

Log 59: Appointments
Nothing prepared me for this day, for when not only my life was in danger, but Tanna and Aife as well. Jade Armada tried to take us out, no doubt to prevent Aife from telling anyone in the Republic too much. It was a chase around Coruscant to find Aife as me and Tanna had to fight our way through their hired guns and sentries.

Agent Director Maelstrom of Sector 13. Never heard of the organization myself, but I can tell it has something to do with The Republic. This woman herself seemed interested in Aife's situation, and had information on Aife, Tanna and myself. I do not trust her. If she had anything to do with this abduction or is working against it remains to be unseen.

Eventualy we split up, and we found the trail where Aife went. We were close, and more hired guns remained in our path. Tanna was severly injured in the process, but she remains alive to this day. I could not help but feel... regret when she was shot, something I should not feel. I did what I could for her and continued to look for Aife. The trail ended on a freighter that sucked the Force from my body and mind, forcing me to rely on my skills and training from before. I eventualy found her, held hostage at gunpoint by Jade Armada workers.

I never suspected to drop my guns to save another individual when my own survival was a first priority. I could have easily eliminated the workers, but Aife would have been lost, and I would be on my own once more. I should not be acting this way, but a part of me feels good when I do, just like I used too. I talked the mercs down and saved Aife's life, informing them that things will be set right.

Log 60: Resting up and Preperations
((Nearly a week of personal logs litter the journal, but one stands out from the others.))
Already a week passed since I got both Aife and Tanna to the nearest reliable Republic medical care center. Aife is walking, but I can tell her mind is not in the right state. Tanna remains on life support, but the doctor says she will live. Everything has been done to help them both, yet I feel at fault that I should have done better. Aife knew this, and assured me I was not to blame before she broke into tears. For the first time she latched to me and I held her close as I comforted her, reassuring her things will be alright. I wanted to tell her that I cared for her, but in the state she was in now would be selfish.

Two more faces showed up that day, both being huge feline like sentients. One was Weisheng Winters, Tanna's soon-to-be husband. The other was Jiang Winters, younger brother of Weisheng and good friend to Aife. Suffice to say, he wanted revenge after I informed him of the week ago.

The stress and reliving of memories was too much for Aife, I could tell. I did what I could to sooth her mind and went to escort her to her room where she may laydown and rest. It is not only my duty to protect her, but my desire to protect the woman who has offered me a better life then before.

Log 61: Safe House
I can't remember how long it's been, but I did not think that the medical care center was safe for Aife. When she was able to walk without having an attack, I had her moved to my safehouse on Coruscant until she felt she was fully ready. It was not the best, sanitary place, but she will be safe. They are not after Tanna, and with her fiance there to protect her, she will be fine.

(Log still in progress.)

OPINIONS ON ASSOCIATES AND OTHERS
Quentell Xall
My Former Master and now Shade Grandmaster. If I considered others friends, Quentell would be my best friend. He found me on Corellia and recruited me to the Shade Order so that I may cure myself. I owe him my life for this. Good with a lightsaber, but may rely on it too much. Currently on good terms with him, even after my departure from The Order.

Aife Xan'coz
The Zeltron who takes charge of Jade Entertainment and is my boss. I hired myself to protect her and take care of her security when I had no where else to go. She is... beautiful, and I find myself protecting her now more then just the money I am to recieve. She reminds me so much of Mirialana... but I have to move on... Yet I care so much for her.

Tanna Oolvaa
A Twi'lek Spokeswoman for JE, and apparently a Force User who is not a Jedi. I never really knew her until the day we were both placed in danger and raced around Coruscant to find Aife. I hear she has a wedding coming up.

Weisheng Winters
A feline race that I am unfamilier with, and fiance to Tanna. He is a friend to Aife, who in turn is an ally. He will keep Tanna safe until the time is right, and the two are eventualy wed.

Jiang Winters
A feline race same as Weisheng, and also his younger brother. Like his brother, he is also a large being who could cause mass damage up close. Seems to also be a good friend to Aife, and in turn a ally.

Sol Kavos
Another Shade Master and someone I keep in touch with from time to time. Aside from that, I know little about this Shade, other then he is in age like me and Quentell.

Draven Romulous
A former apprentice. Male Miraluka. He shows signs of dangerous anger. After meeting both his corrupted parents, my thoughts have proved right. The anger must run through the family, both of his parents were selfish force users who both succumbed to darkness. He still required training and much to learn if he is to avoid walking down his parent's path. Unfortanetly, I lost track of his location.

Basilak Uprabm
A fellow Shade Master. Male Human. First met him when we were both Knights and did not trust him at first. Don't know much about him yet, but I feel he is trust worthy now. Require more information.

Cain Ray
Founder of the Shade Order. Male Human. Don’t have much to say about him. Never really talked to him much.

Belyael Onderyn
Another member of the Shade Council. He seems like a capable man. Require more information.

Haha, why thank you very much. This is possibly my best work, and dunno if I'll ever be able to top it after the new Timeline. Check back near the end of the timeline for a possible update.
