Izel returning her attack against her was unsurprising but also disappointing. Alym would have preferred if these Jedi were unskilled and untrained, meaning this fight would have been over before it even started. The opposite seemed true given the various encounters occurring around her, Alyse and Korsak engaging with their own Jedi foes.

With relative ease, Alym dropped from her overlook leaving the knife-like shards of stone to harmlessly strike nothing but air, her previous position now vacated. Alym landed gracefully on the ground, her attention still focused on Izel during her descent in case the bug got any wise ideas.

As Alyse began her speech threatening the blue girl, Alym stayed her blade and took in the swirling essence of the darkside that was now flooding the area as it fed off the feelings of Jedi and Sith alike. It seemed that despite all of their training, all of the mindless schlock of teachings that Jedi memorized, the darkside was still too strong, too alluring to ignore.

Alym could feel Izel's aura pulsating through the force. It was fierce but conflicted - the lust of a warrior set against the teachings of a pacifist. She almost wanted to laugh but given the situation, Alym stayed her tongue for once. For now, she thought it best to see the Jedi's reaction to the suspended Pantoran. If it were up to Alym, she would have just used the force to crush the girl's throat outright. For whatever reason Alyse seemed to be more.. theatrical. To each their own, she supposed.

Take the out, Alym said, finally, her eyes creasing in the corners as her lips creased into a curt smile. Unless you can live with this innocent girl's death on your conscience. The laugh was too strong to ignore this time, a cold and cruel chuckle escaping Alym's lips. I know I can.

The force swirled around and enveloped Alym as she readied herself for whatever choice the Jedi would make.

The voice of the blonde Sith echoing throughout the chamber stopped the Zeltron in her tracks. Especially after Kori realized that the cultist already had one of her Jedi team in her telekinetic grip. Still, the Knight didn't defuse her already-ignited lightsaber. Doing so with the other Sith nearby would be suicide. Besides, the temple still wasn't safe; Nykoria had to jump to the side and slice a giant stone that would've otherwise crushed her.

And amidst all that, the Sith cultists were intent on giving them a lecture. After the very same cultists had attacked them and blocked the exit, they now wanted the Jedi to... walk out? Oh, the hypocricy! Or inconsistency. Either way, if the Jedi were to yield to the demands of the Sith, they'd end up at the dark siders' mercy. If there even was such a thing.

While Alyse spoke, Kori remained in a defensive posture. While the Zeltron prepared herself and gathered strength for the next move, her mind and senses racing around the derelict to find any way out. There was an archway down the passage to their ride. The wall had collapsed there, leaving an opening. Perhaps, if the Jedi had enough time...

As the Sith stopped her monologue, the Zeltron outstretched her hand in a quick motion, sending a wave of Force energy at Alyse. The intention wasn't to hurt her; rather, knock her down a notch to distract her, set Kegari free and delay any retaliation. Then, the Zeltron would jump backwards, crossing a considerable distance to land by Kegari's side. "Get up," she spoke quietly to the Pantoran, before raising her voice, so that both the Sith and the Jedi would hear her yell. "Izel, get Nara! We're leaving!"

Lightsaber still ignited and held between her and any Sith who might try to attack them, Kori would help Kegari up, if necessary. Then she'd point the Pantoran in the direction where the exit was. It wouldn't be a long jump down. Again, Kori would try and be the last to enter the passage. For the moment, she was the best-suited Jedi to cover the escape. Kegari was still an initiate, Izel was a Padawan, and Nara was injured. The Zeltron took a deep breath, determined to face what was to come.

Izel kept her eyes focused on Alym, holding her lightsaber in a battle ready stance as the Sith evaded her counterattack and dropped to the ground before her. The Vratix leaned forward slightly, anticipating an offensive from her opponent. With the feelings of almost feral aggression and hatred flowing through her it was as if the two of them were the only beings in existence from her narrowing point of view. That and the overwhelming desire to end her life. But the human seemed to be holding her ground for the moment. That was fine, Izel was perfectly willing to make the first move. She prepared to leap at her opponent once more, but yet again she was distracted.

She whipped her head around as Alyse started talking, so frustrated that she didn't realize what was happening immediately. Why couldn't everyone just shut up and let her fight? But then she was made aware of the fact that while she had been consumed by her own dark emotions she had left her charge completely undefended. As she saw Kegari suspended in mid air by the Force, being choked by the other Sith, everything seemed to click back into place. The hatred was still there, she wondered if it would ever diminish. But now it was clear she had made a mistake. This was not the time to be engaging in a duel with the Sith, and she had let herself drift far too close to the dark side. She glanced at Kori, seeing the Zeltron Knight was also stopped up by the initiate being held hostage. Perhaps if she could distract Alyse then she would be able to catch her off guard and rescue their comrade.

"Don't talk down to us filth." The Padawan shouted in Alyse's direction over the sound of the collapsing chamber. "You're nothing but spineless cowards! You tried to deceive us, tried to kill us with underhanded tactics and now that you face an actual challenge your first instinct is to attack the most vulnerable among us! You think we want to destroy everyone who doesn't keep our ideals? No. Just you." In truth everything the Padawan said she meant wholeheartedly. She could still barely contain the anger coursing through her. But her words had served their purpose.

As Kori unleashed her Force attack against Alyse Izel simultaneously reached out, redirecting a large falling rock so that it would land right where Alym was standing, in the hopes of preoccupying the Sith. She then leapt toward Nara and Korsak. Hopefully once the Amaran was outnumbered two-to-one he would retreat, giving the Jedi the opening to make for the exit. Izel felt anger and humiliation at the prospect of leaving the temple to the Sith now, but this was the best course of action. If she continued along this path she would surely lose herself to the dark side forever.

Kegari was the only one defenseless in the whole ordeal, and then as soon as she could make another move, she felt a jolt of energy as if she was being levitated into the crumbling wall of the temple. This was it, she was going to be Force choked and end up dying in the temple.

I should say my goodbyes now. She thought to herself as she couldn’t make out any words due to the fact that she was being held hostage against her will. But she sensed that this particular individual wasn’t out for blood, but rather for her colleagues to come to their senses so to speak. She didn’t know however, she would keep Kegari in this position of defenselessness.

Because of being in this position Kegari’s Force senses were a bit foggy and couldn’t get in touch with the others. She had hoped that they were able to get out safely, but as what any good Jedi would do they wouldn’t leave their colleague behind, that’s unless they were running out of time or it was already too late.

She tried to reach out to the others through the Force, although she wasn’t sure how effective this would be as they were already preoccupied with trying to defeat these Sith rather than trying to save the villagers that lie within the temple. And one of us would pay the ultimate price as a result.

BD-9 cried out in surprise as Kegari was telekinetically lifted off her feet. Just a moment before, he was trying to push her along to safety, but it turned out that the dark agents had other ideas. Without having any Force powers himself, BD-9 felt a little helpless at the situation, but his companions' angered responses reassured him that the Pantoran would be in good hands. In the meantime, Beedee needed to make sure that the Jedi had an alternate means of escape.

As it seemed like his presence was completely ignored, Beedee pattered off to find a pathway out. His scans quickly identified a floor panel, not unlike one that he had unintentionally pressed earlier. That was when he identified a shallow canal, forming a path that would have been easily missed in the poorly lit chaos. The flying stoneworks also happened to chip away at the canal's walls, creating alternate paths.

Confidently, BD-9 hopped onto the panel with a satisfying click. It is followed by the sound of stone brushing against each other, and finally the rumbling of another boulder barreling into the room. Beedee had no expectation that the boulder would cause any sort of injury, but it might give everything the opening needed to escape. Literally, if they're lucky.

The slash missed and Nara steeled herself, twisting into her stance and ready to try another, when the Amaran Sith blasted her with Force lightning. The shock caught her off-guard, too quick for her to block with a barrier. If she'd hadn't have twisted that little bit, it would have caught her full on in the stomach and there'd probably have been a seriously-injured Nara lying on the ground.

It was enough, however, to knock her back. Her saber flew out of her grip as she was pushed back, tumbling on the dusty floor. She coughed, feeling the pain just wrack through her. Dark, electric pulses through all her nerves, like hot knives searing from inside out. Spots and flashes filled her vision as she tried to cut them out, tried to focus the Force on herself. It wouldn't heal her but she could still help. She reached out for her saber hilt and drew it towards herself.

She stood, breathing heavily and ready to lunge towards the Amaran with Izel. Even if I'm messed up, the little runt won't handle two of us, she thought, gritting her teeth as she started to move towards the both of them. Everything was going badly and if they didn't get a handle on this soon... well, Nara wasn't losing a padawan. She looked towards the blonde Sith women. One so wrapped up in her speeches and Force puppetry, the other more smug than a Hutt after a gambling win, gloating happily.

The click and scrape of the boulder was perfectly serendipitous. She felt it through the stones beneath her and the crumbling walls around them. It rolled near to them, but not enough to do anything... yet. With a grim, satisfied smirk she reached out, channelling whatever Force she could from herself and her fellow Jedi. Even with the tendrils of the Dark Side around her, coaxing at her, desperate for her to give in, she just resolutely focused on that boulder.

It twisted from it's path as Nara grunted, using the Force to spin it towards the smug blonde that stood staring, giving orders. It rolled straight towards her and Nara chuckled. Take the out? Take that. Nothing for it now. Between Izel, the boulder and Nykoria's blast of Force energy, the Sith had problems to deal with.

With that, Nara decided it was time to make good on that escape plan. Saber at the ready, she started to move back. The second Kegari was free, they'd get out as fast as they could. She knew it. We have to.

Korsak did not consider himself to be a sadist, but there was something deeply satisfying in watching one of his enemies go sprawling through the air, still crackling with arcs of his power. Electricity was still arcing through his fingers as he lowered his guard and began to steady his breathing, which he only now realized had grown frantic in the heat of combat. Nara was incapacitated for the moment, which would allow Korsak to devote his attention to the four other targets in the room. He narrowed his eyes on the Verpine in particular, as she seemed wrapped up in some inane speech, itself a counter to the inane comments of Alyse and Alym.

And that was when the tide turned, quickly. Nykoria unleashed a blast of Force power, point blank at Alyse, an attack that would no doubt draw the full focus of the Sith to defend against the onslaught. From there, both the Verpine and Nara diverted some of the falling debris to catch Alyse off guard, and here Korsak had enough time and mental presence to try and intervene.

He fixed his attention on the rock launched by Nykoria, latching onto it with a telekinetic grip that halted the rock's momentum and sent it crashing to the ground instead of into Alyse. Already his breathing was starting to strain again, as he had been somewhat liberal with his lightning during the fight and was unprepared to play telekinetic catch with flying rocks. Unfortunately, Korsak didn't have the time or focus to catch the second stone, as the Verpine dove between him and Nara. With his efforts to help Alyse, he had no time to stop the insect from landing or defending Nara.

"...go." He was practically snarling, keeping his saber between his body and the two Jedi. He wasn't prepared for a fight like this, and all he could think to do was hopefully leave the Jedi with a reason to never return. "Leave, but if I ever see another Jedi on Ontotho again, I swear I will scour that native mud-village of the face of this rock myself."

There was no struggle from the young Pantoran, not that it seemed like she would really give much of any resistance against Alyse's grasp around her through the Force, giving the slight but growing connection the Pantoran held with the Force. But Kegari's attempts or lack of to resist and fight back was not of the Sith's concern, she had no intention on killing the young blue skinned Jedi, she only intended to use the young learner as a means to snap her fellow Jedi cohorts out of their narrow minded zealotry. //Relax and don't struggle// the blonde haired Sith spoke directly into the mind of the Pantoran. // I have no intent nor the desire cause harm to you// she continued as she eased up on her grasp.

// You have no cause to believe me, nor do I expect you to do so. But take what you have witnessed here as caution for what the Darkside can do to the unprepared. Look at your fellow Jedi and see how readily they abandon their teachings and give into their anger// Alyse spoke out, her telepathic words speaking into Kegari's mind with an air of calm and sincerity. // I implore you to learn from this, Guard yourself and do not allow yourself to be influenced or coerced by the Darkside, least it set its claws upon you. Like it has done to your fellow Jedi. They may not see it yet, but the influence of the Darkside will have taken root in their essences and it will erode at them over the days to come// she concluded, before her attention was pulled away from the Pantoran and towards the Zeltron Jedi as the Force within her swelled before her hand reached out towards her.

Gritting her teeth, Alyse released her grasp around the Pantoran and then turned her focus towards the Zeltron knight. As Kori unleashed a wave of Force energy, the blonde haired Sith dropped her stance down, plunging her ignited saber into the ground as she wrapped what reserves of the Force that she had around her to brace and weather the surge of Force energy that was about to crash over her. Her teeth gritting as she sensed the debris that had been cast towards her come crashing down around her, eyes narrowing as she sensed the interference of the Darkside affecting their trajectory, a slight sigh escaping her lips at realisation that her fellow Sith had aided her.

A slight growl rattled within her throat as she rose up to her feet, the swelling frustration within her radiated out, carried by her darkening presence. The Jedi had been warned, that that temple resonated with the Darkside. Yet in their blind ignorance and hubris over their own self belief in their teachings of the Jedi Order, they cast aside the warnings and allowed the darkside to influence their actions. The sharp and bitter words snarled out by the insectoid padawan, dripping with the same level of venomous anger that festered with the cold touch of the Darkside, whether the Jedi chose to accept it or not, their actions and zealotry within the temple today had tainted them.
