Soto would silently walk beside his new compatriot down the rails, it was smooth sailing for quite some time. Apparently, the district they were in search of was most certainly abandoned. This was a relief to hear, as he didn't have time to 'haggle' for his new weapon, nor the credits either. So was the life of a sith apprentice with a master falsely claiming to be a sith lord. A general lack of credits.

"Good. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to pay both you and this collector. If she's already dead then that just makes this easier... You seem to know much about this planet. Are you from here?" The droid's curiosity had been peaked, but he would still try focusing on the task at hand.

At least they would be getting to the district soon, they path wasn't too far out. Regardless of the kubaz's previous response, the droid would comment "You were a brave soul to stay here after the infection took it's hold."

It didn't take Soto long to discover Zergo eying his choice of apparel, and it was an understandable reaction. Most sith and jedi didn't hide their appearance, but he did. To subconsciously hide the fact he was a droid, something he would only ever indirectly tell someone. "I notice you glancing... I look this way because I am, unsightly..."

Brave wasn't a word that would be used to describe Zergo. Staying on Nar Shaddaa was not his choice. Like others who didn't make it out of the surface when the virus broke out, he didn't have the means to leave until it got harder and harder to do so. It was best not to mention that to the Sith, otherwise it would be obvious that he was desperate to see this job through and get his ticket out of the planet.

"Yes. I know this world well." He opted to ignore the personal question and the misguided observation.

While Soto talked, he wondered if it was a human, or an alien like him underneath all those coverings, but it seemed rude to ask. And Zergo often received clients who disguised themselves the same way, so he didn't feel an obnoxious itch to find out.

"That is odd reason," he remarked. Most of those who made extreme efforts to hide had extreme reasons beyond being unsightly. One would think that a powerful Sith wouldn't care so much about being pleasing to the eye.

He marched on until they reached a point where the guardrails ended. Nothing was blocking them from falling off now, but the deadly drop below didn't scare the light-footed Kubaz. He has walked narrower paths all while trying to stay hidden. It was something else that made him nervous: an odd basket-shaped object sitting on the abandoned tracks, just a few feet ahead. Inside the basket, he could see a set of brownish...rocks? No...eggs. He saw no creatures lurking nearby or even guarding them, but Zergo immediately stopped moving to warn Soto. Though the translator device couldn't communicate his fear, he noticeably spoke slowly and carefully.

"You know what the Hawk-bat is, yes?"
