BIOGRAPHY
Tyrus Nils was born of low blood. Orphaned and left on an Imperial spacedock, he was fostered by the Imperial House Landtriss. Noble blood is not something that can be attained through fostering but nobility isn’t always genetic. He was little more than a serf to the family but at least he was safe and often content. When the eldest of the Landtriss boys went to the imperial academy, Tyrus became something more akin to a squire to the house master Veel Landtriss. Veel had been a retired officer in the imperial infantry in his youth, now the head of his house - a position previously and briefly held by his late son. Veel taught Tyrus the ways of the Landtriss as much as he taught him the discipline of the Squire, increasingly growing fond of the scrawny but resilient boy.
The Landtriss held a substantial sector of land, defended by a group of well paid and better trained roughriders who used a combination of speederbikes and AT-DP walkers to patrol the perimeter. Veel taught Tyrus the use of speeder and rifle and laughed at the boy when he played fer-de-lance with a long makeshift wooden lance and jousted straw men hung from trees.
By the age of eleven, Tyrus considered himself as much Landtriss as Veel himself but he was still just the orphan the family had now adopted. As soon as he was of age, Tyrus applied for the Imperial academy and with Veel’s name supporting him he joined infantry training.
PERSONALITY
Tyrus is a loyalist. He believes in the order of the gun. But he’s not tyrannical monster despite the similarities in name. He’s naive in some ways and cynical in others, he’s full of the vigor of youth but has the murderous keen eye of a hunter to go with it.
