I was saying Vader kills Kannan not Ezra. Ezra kills Ahsoka in my theory.
That would be sad. Ezra would be more evil than Palpatine if that happens, in my opinion.

Rewatched the last bit in HD, it is clearly Ahsoka because you can make out her montrals and stuff. Still hope this isn't some weird symbolism or Force ghost thing though.

It does kind of look like she's falling though, so maybe she died at that moment? It's pretty hard to tell.

Shes alive and she will always be alive until she definitively is stabbed through the chest or her head is chopped off on screen. XD

Except she isn't pure white or transparent. I can see shades of orange there, so... I'd say she's not dead. Turned to the Dark Side, perhaps (as that's the only way I can see her AND Vader leave that chamber ALIVE), but not dead.

EDIT: Also, my biggest issue with this episode, though I liked it, is that the end was kinda ambiguous with Ahsoka. When you end a season, ambiguity isn't a good thing. Cliffhangers, maybe. Ambiguity, no. That and Maul surviving. Dun like Maul. (And the whirlybird Inquisitors. Seriously?)

The fight between Vader and Ahsoka, which I have been looking forward to for years, lacked the emotion I was really hoping it would have jammed into it.

So...that was 1000 times more content then was in the last season finale. Bravo is all I have to say. It was just so good, I can't really say anything else besides that.

The feelings train goes up and down up and down, the feels trainnnnnn goes up and down.....

Jesus I just watched it and couldnt believe disney will just straight up murder like a two character (more if you feel like the other two didnt actually survive) like go job disney for taking the moment to realize good shows need some deaths sometimes. Serious tho like where can i get one of those spinning lightsaber man I want to fly like a eagle too.

But easily the best episode on this show cant wait for some more maul trumps everything because he is maul, except when the plot demands he fail, anyone else noticing a pattern?

Maul can get cut in half and fall down into a reactor core, for all I care. Oh wait, he did.

In that case, he can get murderized by the most powerful Sith Lord in canon. Oh wait, he already did.

In that case, he can get thrown off a several hundred meters tall Sith temple by a blind guy and fall to his death. Oh wait, he already did.

Darth Maul = The most Mary Sue character in Star Wars, even more so than Anakin. And that's saying something.

Palpatine on Mandalore, in Clone Wars. He kicked Maul's ass soundly. And I thought he died there. But apparently not.

Actually he captured him and Maul was kept prisoner for a while before being rescued by his Shadow Collective. It was detailed in a short comic series that was released before disney bought star wars, but because it was based off of Lucas scripts for TCW episodes it remained canon.

Per Arclight. The four Son of Dathomir issues were adaptations of TCW scripts. For the tl;dr version:

Issue #1 - Maul is in prison on the Spire (the same place the rebels went to thinking they could free Luminara). This follows what happens at the end of the episode that you're thinking of Kiro - Sidious explicitly says in the episode that he won't kill Maul because Maul is still of use to him. The Sith let him escape because Sidious is using Maul to get to Mother Talzin. A long time ago, Sidious and Talzin were allies but he tossed Talzin aside and took Maul - her son, as the series revealed - as his apprentice. Maul rallies his forces on Zanbar and fights the Separatists.

Issue #2 - Maul goes to Ord Mantell and the Separatists follow him there. A battle ensues. He captures Count Dooku.

Issue #3 - the Republic is realizing what's happening and decides to get involved. Dooku pretends to ally himself with Maul. They fight the Republic, including Obi-Wan.

Issue #4 - Maul brings Dooku to Dathomir to be a sacrifice in a ritual that would allow Talzin to use Dooku as a sacrifice and regain her corporeal body. Ultimately Dooku's allegiance was a ruse. Sidious and Grievous arrive. The Shadow Collective is destroyed. Mother Talzin is killed. Maul retreats. Even though Maul's alive, Sidious no longer considers him or Talzin a threat to his eventual galactic domination.

The final arc of the show would have been the Siege of Mandalore. Maul also would have been in that. So would Ahsoka, which is why Ahsoka and Maul know each other in Twilight of the Apprentice. Ahsoka would have briefly worked with Anakin and Obi-Wan again, before they're called away to the Battle of Coruscant - hence what Ahsoka said in Shroud of Darkness about the last time she saw Anakin. Ahsoka and Rex would have taken on Maul and his forces - hence what Rex said in The Lost Commanders about serving with Ahsoka from the Battle of Christophsis to the Siege of Mandalore. Whether Maul would have died in that arc is anyone's guess.

So yeah. Maul's fight with Sidious was never intended to be his end. There was always more to his story.

Next thing you know, Maul will be Snoke and...hot damn that'd be so cool. :p

Also worth noting that we don't know where Maul fell to. Remember, Ahsoka also fell off a ledge. She, Kanan, and Ezra also fell from Malachor's surface into its underworld.

The rules of Star Wars say the Force lets you jump or fall from very high places and be fine.
