It has only been a short time since Taecelle set foot on Ossus, and already, she saw herself standing before the doors of the Jedi Council. She remembered the last time she stood in front of these doors: to report in on a mission that she completed for the Jedi Order. Now, she stood here, to report on the death of the council member Haar.

She waited for the doors to open and permit her entry into the chambers.

Standing directly behind her, Siri Firestorm was also awaiting the Council's doors to open. She had been granted permission by Master Huang of the Council to sit in on the meeting to learn what happened to her Master.

She stayed quiet and didn't say anything to Taecelle. She was only here to listen and wouldn't speak unless one of the masters or Taecelle herself asked her to.

Talzea was already waiting for Taecelle, having given her ample time to collect herself. She did not pressure the woman, nor did she bid her to hurry to the council. The Grandmaster had arrived beforehand, briefing the rest of the council on what had happened. They were expected to arrive shortly, though she knew the short notice would make it difficult for some of them to travel quickly. The thought of who had caused Haar's death nagged away at her mind, and she hoped Taecelle would be able to provide some answers.

As she felt the presence of both Taecelle and Haar's student, she knew it was time to begin the meeting. She strode over to the doors, opening them to find the two waiting. Talzea managed a small smile, motioning for them to enter the chambers. She walked over to the opposite end of the hall, taking her seat. A gentle nudge of the Force pulled up seats for the two of them.

"Please, have a seat. We can begin whenever you wish."

No matter how many times he replayed the message, Weisheng still couldn't quite bring himself to believe that Haar was gone. The news had been a shock, to say the least. The Councilor had always seemed immortal to the Horansi. No matter how far he traveled or how long he stayed out, he always seemed to come back home. Not this time, though; not this time.

He had been on his way to his homeworld Mutanda when the Grandmaster had relayed the news to him. The feline had been quick to divert course to Ossus and, as he had been planning on making a stop at the temple there before heading to meet with his siblings, arrived less than an hour after being summoned. It seemed that an hour wasn't fast enough, though; when he finally walked into the council chambers, Talzea had already ushered Taecelle and another woman in.

The feline frowned. "Late again? he wondered, before bitterly thinking, "Blast!"

The feline made his way towards his seat and turned about to sit, only to realize that he was still carrying his ceremonial Daisho - a combination of a Katana and a Wakizashi, used as a symbol of rank on his homeworld. The two blades would make sitting in one of the council chairs impossible, and he was not about to fumble with his kamishimo in order to remove the weapons. He didn't waste his time puzzling over what course of action to take; the hybrid Horansi opted to stand.

Sheng turned back to face Taecelle and the other woman, whom he was unfamiliar with. "Hm. Must be someone close to Haar," he mused, tail slowly flicking from side to side. His ears tilted forward and he narrowed his eyes slightly, peering through his contacts at the two women as he waited for the meeting to begin.

Huang was sat in his seat in the council chambers. He blinked in surprise as the Master of the Order entered. It was rare for him to appear nowadays. He was glad he had turned up for this though.

He nodded to Siri Firestorm, whom had recently begun training with him, and to Tacelle, the woman linked with council member Haar.

It was a sad day for the order. But they would unravel the tangled tale of this misdeed, and avenge the death of Haar.

Raphael had arrived with Huang and the grandmaster, coming straight from Taecelle's arrival to the chambers. He had listened to the briefing, and although he had voiced his concerns about the presence of Siri Firestorm in the council meeting, he was seemingly within the minority. He had no problem with the young Knight, on the contrary he liked her, but to him it seemed that it was the council's responsibility to find out and assess the dangers that Haar's death presented them, and then to inform any relevant Jedi of their findings and decisions.. The last thing they needed was for the girl to disappear on some ill-advised revenge mission, the likely outcome of which, given a warrior such has Haar had fallen, would result in a second Jedi corpse.

Still, he had not raised his concerns publicly, only behind the heavy door of the council chambers, as he did not wish to unnerve the girl now. It would hardly be fair to make her feel unwanted and uncomfortable, regardless of Raphael's personal opinions, given the circumstance. He caught her eye as she entered and nodded in a silent gesture of greeting, before casting his gaze over Taecelle. The grandmaster spoke, and Raphael focused his attentions on the woman before them.

Siri took the seat that the Grandmaster had pulled up for her. Several other Masters had arrived and taken their seats. Taecelle now sat directly to Siri's left. Though she tried, Siri could not read Taecelle's feelings. Worry, nervousness, nothing appeared on her expression and the ripples in the Force that were coming off of her did not betray her true emotions either.

The room was tense, but that much was to be expected; not just any Jedi had died. A Jedi Master, a member of the Council, had been murdered. That alone was reason for shock. Now the Grandmaster had given permission to Taecelle to begin the meeting when ready, and Siri turned her attention to Haar's former master.

Clearing her thoughts, Siri breathed in the Force, allowing it to increase her perceptions and help her analyze what was about to be said.

Taecelle entered when the grandmaster stepped back to allow herself and Siri to pass through the doors. She sat down when the seats that were telekinetically brought forward stopped moving, taking a moment for the others to prepare themselves. After scanning the chambers to look upon each council member, including one who had entered after her. These people were among Haar's closest associates in the Order.

"It happened on Taris, which all of you are most likely familiar with as a planet within the Hutts' realm of influence. I was residing there for the past year on my own, for my own reasons. It was my intention to remain in hiding until a later time, though Haar had located me and approached me with many questions," she began.

"He asked about myself, about this 'Bogan' organization, and if I knew anything about them. Truthfully, the rest of you know more about them than I do. The only piece of information that I can offer is that the Ospion Guardians is no more: a year after the Alsakan Crisis, I felt the deaths of many of my former companions," Taecelle continued.

With that, she paused, allowing the council to absorb the information that she had, and waited for any questions that would arise.
