Dark Jedi Training

The following are the guidelines for Acolyte-to-Crusader training. These rules will be enforced and followed when it comes to ranking up. If you have any questions, please leave a message with the Bogan, Brandon Rhea, or the Lady of the Temple, Em.cecile.

All members who have not been members of this faction before are strongly encouraged to go through this training process, though you may ask the faction leader to skip. If you have been a member of this faction before with a character who was a Crusader, you do not have to go through training at all. You can ask the faction leader(s) for a rank as well.

Acolyte-to-Crusader Guidelines

Training to become a Crusader is primarily missions based as opposed to having one training thread where Force and lightsaber skills are learned. The goal of training in this faction is to gain real mission and event experience on The Star Wars RP, as well as to form role-playing networks and relationships with other members, both in the faction and outside the faction. To re-emphasize the point made above, all members who have not been in this faction before must go through this Acolyte-to-Crusader training.

The guidelines for the training of Acolytes are as follows:

*All Acolytes will have a Crusader or a Dark Master to train them.
*All Acolytes must participate in a total of three (3) role-playing threads of sufficient quality, not counting the required missions. These do not have to be with their master, though that is strongly encouraged.
*All Acolytes must participate in a total of one (1) mission for the faction. The outcome must either be successful or somewhat successful. This mission is posted in the training missions thread, which you can choose from. Battles count towards this requirement.

Crusader-to-Master Guidelines

Sometimes, players who become Crusaders immediately rush into training for a specialization so they can achieve the rank of Dark Master. These specializations are of the instructor, marauder, and assassin roles. However, having a specialization does not automatically make you a master.

In order to become a Dark Master, players will need to do more than train. The faction leadership will take note of the missions and main threads you participate in, the acolytes you train, and your general participation in the role-play as a member of the Dark Jedi. Combined with your specialization, being a quality and active member of the faction will ultimately allow you to be promoted to Dark Master.
