OOC: Hey guys brand new here, IDK if I'm even allowed to talk out of character here :P anyway, heres a brand new thread for a brand new character for a brand new RPer, anyone can jump in and if I mess up please let me know.

Hope you guys enjoy :D

"Well that's just perfect....." the young Zabrak muttered to himself as his omnitool broke in his hands while trying to repair the holes in his ship.

Frustrated, Kalak hurled the now shattered omnitool across the hangar bay, nearly striking a Twi'lek in the head. Normally he would feel extremely sorry for her and offer to help or apologize, but Kalak had a lot more pressing issues to concern himself with right now. Like how he was going to get off this derelict space station with a ship filled with holes, a broken arc cutter and not a credit to his name (he blew it on the arc cutter to try and fix his ship)

"Goddamn pirates...." he muttered again.

They did this, and right after he was relieved of active duty from the navy. After serving as a pilot and fighting for them for 2 straight years, Kalak was finally happy to return to his friends and family. Which he would be doing if the Black Sun pirates hadn't caught up to him 1st. They gunned him down, but luckily he managed to crash land on a space outpost literally in the middle of nowhere, but not without a missing wing and several other holes around his hull.

Trying to wrap his head around all the events that had taken place within the past hour or so, Kalak threw down the one bag he had and using it as a
pillow, took a nap in the middle of the hangar bay, hoping that fate would work with him, rather than against him, for a change....

Shale walked along the decks of the space station thinking...if you could call it thinking. He was contemplating suicide again. Did he even count as a person? Did it count as suicide? Did it? Shale didn't get an answer because as he thought he tripped on something. He clattered to the floor, and some of his skin came off, revealing the metal underneath. But that was inside his clothes, nothing noticeable. He turned to see what he tripped on. It turned out to be a sleeping Zabrak pilot. He looked worse for wear. "Sorry about that mate." he said.

The impact couldn't help but startle Kalak. Swiftly doing a kip-up into a fighting stance, afraid one of the pirates had somehow tracked him down. He then eyed his "enemy" a little bit more carefully as he was lying on the ground, apparently just as startled as he was. He was alone, so most likely wasn't a pirate, and didn't carry the uniform of one either. That coupled with the fact he didn't immidieatly kill him was refreshing as well.

"Oh ummm...yeah no problem" Kalak said as he let his guard down and extended a much more friendly hand. As he helped the stranger up, he tried to study him as best he could...only to find out that he was more than a challenge to read with an emotionless face, so instead decided to change topics to one much more suitable to his current scenario.

"Uhh...look, this is kind of a weird question, but do you know where we are right now? I kinda got, ummm 'lost' " he stated, not sure if he should give away the information on his pirate attack yet, "And, I had to set down here because, well..." He turned his head briefly over to the charred hunk of metal he once called a ship.

"...I think it's pretty obvious" was his response before turning his head back to the stranger.

Billy Ray Gamble brought in The Dusky Red Duck to this small space station out in the middle of nowhere. It was a nice, quiet spot usually, though sometimes, pirates liked to make a run at folks around here. Gamble had lucked out this time. No pirates. He was cleared for docking procedures and soon disembarked his ship.

Providing the station crew some maintenance instruction on what he wanted done, he looked over towards where a scene was taking place. At first glance, it appeared as though a fight were about to break out, but soon the aggressive party seemed to lighten up, taking on a more casual posture. They soon shook hands as Billy decided it was best to keep to himself.

Giving a light bob of his head, he moved along towards where the dining facility was. The food wasn't exceptional, but it was good enough considering. It was nice to be off the ship as well. Three weeks couped up in hyperspace wasn't exactly his idea of a party anyway.

Taking a seat at one of the few tables in the place, Gamble looked over the menu and immediately spotted what he wanted. Aside from a Tatooine Sunrise, he could really go for the grilled nerf steak with melted jerba cheese, grilled Ojomian onions and Felucian glasscap mushrooms. That sounded just delicious, and the picture of the plate didn't look all that bad either.

Now if he could just get some service...

Angelo silently watched the two, smirking to himself at their blunder, instantly they became friendly, not the smartest move in his eyes, they know nothing about eachother, yet they act like old pals. "This should be Interesting..." He mumbled to himself, finishing his cig, lighting another one. It probably wasn't a good idea, considering where he was, but what did he care? He'd already died... Twice. "Oy!" He called over at the two, " hear you need some transportation, just so happens I have a working ship." He grinned, "a proposition, I would like to present to you, over drinks perhaps?" He asked folding his dands together, "My treat"

OOC: if you want to look at Angelo's page I want yall to know that's a bit out of date n I need to revise it.

Druan hid his excitement so he didnt give himself away. This guy had a ship! Druan hugged the wall to keep himeself from falling over. He thought for a minute about how he'll get on the ship. He could steal it, and it wouldn't be the first ship he stole. But his piloting skills were awful seeing as they were what stranded him on this miserable space station. Druan scratched his head. He decided it would be best to stowaway on the ship and get off on whatever planet they stopped at. After all, ANYTHING was better than a station in the middle of nowhere. Druan eavesdropped more.

Kalak turned his head towards the incoming stranger. This place seemed to be crawling with them.

'Maybe it would have been better to just drift off into space...' he silently thought.

"Excuse me" Kalak replied to the first stranger. Just because you were about to kill him doesn't mean you can't have manner right? At least that was Kalak's viewpoint. Turning to face the incoming stranger he spoke up.

"Nice to meet you, Kalak Starr." He pleasantly introduced himself with a grin and a handshake.

'At least this guy didn't trip over me' He once again thought to himself.

"I'm not really a heavy drinker, but I could go for a pint and talk if you want to." Suddenly perking up after realizing someone was willing to help him.

"Looks like there's someplace we can get a quick drink over there" He said, motioning to a small cafe where another shady figuring had already settled.

Anhelo took Kalak's hand in a firm, metallic, handshake. "Polite are we?" his eyes met Kalak's, "Word of advice my friend," his voice was exeptionally low, making it so only Kalak may hear him, "If you're planning on killing a man," Referring to Shale, "One, make sure you are able, and two, make sure you have a way out in case of retaliation.

Angelo laughed, You're more likely to end up in the bathroom than end up drunk in that place, but seeing as no other place is around... must make due no?" H lifted his arms in a shrug, Angelo was a very animated man, and when his arms lifted, Angelo's sleeves we're pulled back, revealing his arms were biotic, "Let us go then, you as well clumsy one!" he called out, pointing to the one Kalak had 'met' first. " But where are my manners? I am Angelo Mendoza, I know who you are Kalak, but what about you? One who's limbs shine more than my own!" he asked Shale.

As the introductions went on, Angelo activated the security system inside his ship, every door and access point sealed before a purge of any living organics inside. All systems are clear. Angelo heard in his own mind, a reply transmitting from his ship itself.

"May I help you?" came the inquiry from the droid that glided over to take his order. Great. A droid. Gamble wasn't overly fond of droids. Sure, they served their purpose, but he'd much rather have human interaction any day than have anything to do with a droid, especially one that was serving in the place of a human. Bleh...

Pointing towards the menu, Gamble replied, "Yeah, I'll have the grilled nerf steak with melted jerba cheese, grilled Ojomian onions and Felucian glasscap mushrooms." He didn't bother to say please as that would show manners, and droids were incapable of feelings anyway, so why bother? It was insulting enough having to place an order with the thing.

Snapping his fingers, Billy added, "And bring me out a Tatooine Sunrise." With that, he slapped the droid in the chest with the menu and barely gave the thing time to get a hold of it before letting go. The robot did manage to keep hold of the menu as it replied quite obligatory, "Right away Sir. Thank-you."

It glided away smoothly with a soft whir of its motivators humming through the air. Gamble removed his wide-brimmed hat and set it aside. He then turned his attention to the duo that turned into a trio just like that. Apparently this was quite the happening joint. Perhaps this place wasn't as quiet and out of the way as he had thought. Huh.

((Er....Shale is an Android, he has artificial skin and takes a while for anyone to notice he's an android.))

"I'll come, but I ate recently." Shale said, following the man, Anhelo, and Kalak. "I'm Shale by the way." he said, not revealing his last name. He didn't trust the new guy, but he did need a way off the space station. Maybe he could help.

OOC: Hey guys, sorry for my absence, most of you probably forgot this rp still existed, :P partially my fault, as I was occupied with finals, but I'm still up to finish the story if any of u are. Once again, jump back in whenever you please :)

The group wandered off away from the hanger to a dark room.

"God this place can't even afford quality lighting, probably not best to let these guys alone with a repair job on their hands." Kalak thought out loud to himself and whomever might be listening. He squinted to try to make out what was in the dark room with no avail, until he caught a glimpse of two glowing amber eyes slowly crawl their way towards Kalak and his makeshift group followed by the sound of squeaks and clanks

'obviously not up to date, kind of like everything else here' Kalak noted in his head.

"Table or three?" was his simple reaction to the out of date service droid, followed by an innocent shrug.

"Yes, we have an opening, would you like a table inside the establishment or on the patio?" was the droid's factual as always response. Kalak took one more look at the dimly lit establishment and made up his mind without the consent of his companions.

"outside if possible" if he could barely make out a service droid in the blackness of the resturaunt he didn't even want to know what lied deeper inside.

"yes, please follow me.

The trio obeyed following the droid to a patio area decorated surprisingly well with flowers and vegetation. And only one table. Already occupied by a shady figure with three empty chairs surrounding him. Puzzled, Kalak turned back to the droid.

"Uhh...you said you had a table for three out back?" he asked confused.

"yes, there are three open chairs available, I will return shortly with menus." and before he had a chance to ask any more questions the droid dissappeared into the blackness. It was typical of a droid to think of the math before the social element to it's problems.

"well here's hoping he's friendly..." Kalak once more thought out loud before approaching the stranger with the dark hat and darker demenour.

"Hello sir, are these seats taken?"

OOC: hey what do you know! First day back and already I messed up :P so yes to clear things up, I accidentally logged in as my second account (note to self, don't make two accounts with a similar name.) so xcruciate and xcruciator are one in the same (shocking) and it's still Kalak either way, hope that clears things up! :D

Sam glanced casually up from under the hood that shrouded her in darkness and hopefully gave a clear signal she didn't need any trouble. Groaning painfully her eyes trailed over the trio, all men she noted quickly. Her triggerfinger twitched nervously as she slid her hand down her robe and placed it on her blaster pistol.

"I suppose they are now." She hissed, still sounding more feminine than she'd wanted to, what with the war going on and all the pirates she'd be better off staying as anonymous as possible. Atleast the man had been friendly, other than calling her sir.

"What brings you all here?" Her free hand trailed casually along the cuts and dents in the worn out steel table which, just like the rest of this space station, was quite out of fashion.

Kalak was taken aback, the stranger was a woman!

'And what a woman she is...' Kalak made a mental note. Most of the pretty girls on his home planet of Iridonia had either left to search the stars for adventure, or they had married someone who had. There were some female Zabraks left in his little farming community, but Kalak was never the one to settle down and grow old watching the suns set.

"Well..." Kalak began to think of how to explain the situation to the cloaked stranger. "We were planning to just talk mostly, over a few drinks preferably, about matters involving finding out just were the hell we are and how to get off of here." Kalak concluded with a quick smile.
