BIOGRAPHY
Hailing from Tatooine, Kendar had what could amount to a normal life as a moisture farmer from the infamous desert planet. Raised by grizzled son of a veteran from the Resistance of old and a pretty moisture farmer, he lived his life on Tatooine like any other. Learning how to properly maintain moisture farms, the basics of making sure he went by unnoticed by the large criminal underground, learning to properly communicate with the many Jawas of the planet. However the worst of it, was the Tuskan Raiders. Known for being relentless in their pursuit of water, the Samuels family had to repeatedly make 'donations' to the Raiders in order to not get slaughtered.

That is until one day the Raiders simply stopped caring about the water and proceeded to burn and pillage everything in sight. Kendar is not quite sure how that exactly happened. Perhaps the Raiders were insulted by something or maybe they just had a bad day. What is clear however is the damage done to the farmstead. The moisture farm was destroyed beyond repair, his father gravely injured and his mother left crying near the collapsed body of his father. Perhaps a foolish notion, but at that point Kendar did not care. With his father's pistol in hand, he chased after the Tuskan Raiders. Despite somehow getting the drop on them , Kendar was outmatched and outnumbered. After sustaining injuries from the slugthrowers the Raiders were using, he was pinned down hard, until a passing Sector Ranger patrol got him out of there alive.

Despite being chastised by the friendly lawbringers, Kendar didn't care. He felt that the Raiders got what was coming to them. To some the senseless pursuit of vengeance was foolish. But to Kendar, it was something he felt he needed to do. Stealing one of the Raider's slugthrowers, Kendar ran back to his family on the farmstead and helped them get to the closest city, Mos Espa. His father being a man who understood what his son was going through, showed him towards and old shooting range from when he was a hired gun. Kendar's went there and begun practising what his marksmanship skills with both his father's pistol. He practised and practised until he could no more. The next day, he did it again. And then again the next one. Because just like his father, Kendar Sameuls knew that once he set his mind on something... There was really no stopping him.

Appearance
Ever since he decided to become somewhat of a hired gun, Kendar exchanged his old robes into something more combat fitting. The normal cloth was replaced with leather pants and a grey shirt. On top, he wore a blast vest that was covered with a leather duster to make it more inconspicuous. A belt with his blaster hung from his waist, but the most prominent item was the slugthrower that was slung over his shoulder.
Personality
A hot head and sometimes too dumb to live, Kendar has a knack for getting himself into trouble and then quickly getting himself out of them. His plans tend to be simple and direct with not much regard for those around him. For when those plans inevitably go wrong, Kendar is quick on his feet and despite not having much training in ways of shooting, he is good at improvising.

The farmer turned gunman is also a starch believer of his ideals and opinions to the point of stubbornness. He has a hard time changing his point of view is visible and actively punching him in the face. This nets him quite a few arguments, but he learned that the best way to defuse a situation is sarcasm and bad jokes.
Skills
While proficient with a blaster and a long range slugthrower, Kendar's best combat ability is his willingness to adapt into any given situation. Which is unfortunately a requirement since his plans tend to be shortsighted and predictable. Thankfully most of his opponents seems to be dumber than him.

Tatooine is a harsh environment and also home to things that are several times stronger and bigger than Kendar. Thus diplomacy is a must while dealing with most of it's inhabitants. Sadly Kendar's form of diplomacy consists of his bad sense of humor and while it does defuse situations most of the times, sometimes it's taken the wrong way, especially when there is cultural differences involved.

Plot about Tusken stuff:

What is going to happen in your plot?

A minor city is going to be attacked by Tusken Raiders. Normally Tusken Raiders do not target larger settlements, so the players must defend the city and get to the bottom of what made the Tusken Raiders so upset.

What other writers (and their characters) will be a part of this?
Where are all the locations in which your plot will take place?
Tatooine
Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen. Include opposition type for each thread:

Defending the Heart of the City (Self DM/Dice) - The players come onto a sudden raid by the Tuskan Raiders while visiting a small city. The Raiders have the city surrounded, so escape is not probable. The group must band together and work with the local militia to push back the invasion. The group becomes informed that this attack was not normal for the Tusken Raiders and they deduce that something is rifling them up.

Fool's Desert (Self DM) - After some Intel gathering at the city, the players hear rumors of a series of firefights that took place not too far away from town between the Tusken Raiders and someone else. They take off to investigate and uncover that someone is purposely targeting the Tusken Clans in an attempt to enrage them so they attack bigger targets. They find a discarded blaster, which certainly does not belong to the Tuskans.

The Confrontation (Self DM/Dice) - The group takes the blaster to a well known weapons dealer. He explains that only one local around here uses that sort of blaster, that being Matilda Briss, a survivor of a Tuskan village raid. The weapons dealer will give the location of Matilda, but only if the group gives up the weapon. The players then confront Matilda and she can be talked down or fought.

What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game?” Link any items you’re seeking if applicable.

The lessening of Tuskan Raids upon the planet, a possible increase of reputation and introduction of characters of future endeavours.

Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose. No.

Biography
Luth was born to a family of traders, mostly operating within the inner rim. He spent most of his childhood either in his homeworld or on his family's space freighter with his parents. At one point he was like a normal Cornelian: headstrong, cocky and endlessly snarky. He'd take up whatever challange that was thrown at his way. So he accompanied his parents on trading missions, learning the art of the deal early on in his life. His father being the pilot of the ship, also enjoyed teaching Luth as his co-pilot, explaining the functions of all the various buttons and switches on the cockpit.

An event that turned out to be a turning point in Luth's life is while he and his family were orbitting Coruscant. A massive space cargo hauler illegally dumped out all of its waste and Luth's family's ship was right in the middle of it. His parents were conducting cargo checks, so they weren't anywhere near the cockpit. Traversing the hallways of the ship, Luth had some sort of third feeling that something was wrong, thus he rushed to the cockpit and barely managed to manuever the ship away from the space waste.

Biography
Luth was born to a family of traders, mostly operating within the inner rim. He spent most of his childhood either in his homeworld or on his family's space freighter with his parents. At one point he was like a normal Cornellian: headstrong, cocky and endlessly snarky. He'd take up whatever challenge that was thrown at his way. So he accompanied his parents on trading missions, learning the art of the deal early on in his life. His father being the pilot of the ship, also enjoyed teaching Luth as his co-pilot, explaining the functions of all the various buttons and switches on the cockpit.

An event that turned out to be a turning point in Luth's life happened while he and his family were orbiting Coruscant. A massive space cargo hauler illegally dumped out all of its waste and Luth's family's ship was right in the middle of it. His parents were conducting cargo checks, so they weren't anywhere near the cockpit. Traversing the hallways of the ship, Luth had some sort of third feeling that something was wrong, thus he rushed to the cockpit and barely managed to maneuver the ship away from the space waste. His parents came running into the cockpit and saw Luth in the pilot seat, his hands almost shaking.

From that day forth, Luth never felt the same. It was like something was in the back of his brain, guiding him, telling him right from wrong. He didn't like it. He tried to fight the feeling, deny it, but it was making a noticeable impact on his life. This worried his parents who requested Jedi assistance. The Jedi's sent one of their Masters and after meeting with Luth, he spent several hours explaining Luth what the Force is and teaching him a few basic meditation techniques. The Master also inquired whenever Luth would like to join the Jedi Order, however he refused because he didn't want to leave his parents yet. Thanking the Jedi Master, Luth and his family returned into a mostly normal routine, except for the added bonus of Luth figuring out he's Force Sensitive.

For the next few years Luth continued to practice the meditation techniques the Jedi Master taught him. But at the ripe age of 17, he decided that he wanted to explore the capabilities of the Force more widely. Requesting the assistance of the Jedi again, Luth was taken to the Jedi Temple of Ajan Kross, where Luth received his training. Being allowed contact with his family, he never truly lost that connection he had to his parents. Luth was trained by the same Jedi Master that helped him all those years ago and now he stands proud as a Jedi Knight, prepared to take on anything that needs to be done.
Appearance
Ever since becoming a Jedi, Luth understood that he stood for more than himself. The Jedi were highly respected, especially since the end of the Sith, so Luth wanted to look the part. Luth wears older looking tan Jedi Robes that are accompanied by slightly darker coloured pants. Almost knee height leather boots protect his feet. Luth also carries a small belt under his robes where he stores his green single-bladed lightsaber and a few other tid bits.
Personality
Luth maintains a calm mind when approaching situations. That allows him to concentrate on what needs to be done and not dwindle on less important questions. This allowed him to quickly formulate plans when others only saw one way to do things. He does however dislike going into things without a plan as it makes him feel uneasy.

Luth is still plagued with wonderlust from his early life. He enjoys going to new places and meeting new people, thus most of his missions involve him leaving the Temple for weeks at a time. If he is forced to stay in one place for a long time, he becomes fidgety and uneasy, something the Knight does not wish to deal with anymore.

The Jedi Order has managed to temper the Corellian in him. With his years, Luth has become fairly wise and has mostly adopted the more respectful tone of voice. This granted him the ability to both speak in a political manner and a merchant one, due to his background as a space trader. However, he is known to sometimes be snarky especially when he is more relaxed or around friends.
Skills
Luth's skills excels in negotiation. His trader family taught him how to speak the talk of trade, while his Jedi training allowed him to focus on refining his technique with a more diplomatic focus. Luth is able to deal with most situations without the use of his lightsaber, which he strives to achieve in general. He is however fairly determined to achieve the diplomatic solution, refraining from using force or other more underhanded tactics.

WIth Luth's ability to calm his mind, he has an easy time connecting with the Force. Whenever it be meditation or general focus, Luth can do it fairly easily. This also translates into his lightsaber form, as he is very proficient with Form III (Soresu) and also has some training in Form VI (Niman). His state of calm allows him to easily parry or deflect most attacks while maintaining a strong connection to the Force. As is common with Form III (Soresu), Luth has trouble on the offensive part of duelling, usually requiring a more extensive fight to defeat a more powerful opponent.

The Knight also is fairly capable in the air. Luth's experience with freighters allows him to pilot them with surprising efficiency and he is no slouch with other ships. He also has some engineering experience and is able to fix most common technical issues with ships.
