So I'm not sure if the admins or mods have anything planned specifically for this timeline, maybe they do. I've been reading through threads and the holonet threads and came up with something based on a lot of the anti-jedi sith movement kind of building up. I don't know if this was already planned to lead somewhere, if so I'm anxious to see where it goes.

The idea I had was to sort of introducing a new faction/group that kind of takes advantage of the anti-jedi/sith situation. I don't mean something like the Eternal Empire where we just have a third giant large faction or anything political, but more so a small individual group. So instead of political-based war more of an ideological one. I was thinking of something more like a mercenary type of group, similar to that of the Akatsuki from Naruto, where their goal is to "cleanse" the galaxy of Jedi and Sith. Not necessarily killing all force users, but those who are specifically Jedi and Sith. Then maybe they have certain political groups back them up and it ends up leading to 3 way conflicts or it could even lead to a possibly Sith and Jedi team up. A lot of possibilities could happen.

Basically it would be like a "Hey these 2 groups have been fighting for so long and their beliefs stink lets just demolish them" kind of situation I guess. I haven't really put much thought behind it, but I wanted to throw the idea out there in case anyone else would find it interesting. I was just thinking that with anti-Jedi+Sith propaganda on the rise, some big plots/events can be created that really shift some power or even potentially change things moving forward. I do like the Sith+Jedi team up idea though but I feel like it might have been done already; Not sure but feel free to inform me if it has.

Let me know what you think or what other big ideas you have planned for the timeline! I love reading through a lot of the threads and seeing the different stories and moving pieces expand.

I can tell you right now, none of this was planned. It was all organic story telling thanks to our incredible members and writers! That said, your idea sounds really cool and very appropriate given the climate in the story.

My char @Darth Raze is trying to establish a government that's anti Jedi/Sith, but his ideas are broad and galactic wide. He would probably be interested in working with a group like yours though :P

Yeah I usually like to create non-sith/jedi force characters, partly because I'm interested in grey-jedi or rogue character type of stories. I convinced a friend of mine to create a non-sith/jedi force character as well, and that's kind of how the idea came up. Where characters that aren't really interested in either group just band together, whether they are force users or not. It kind of creates a perspective-based story where multiple sides are correct just depending on how you view their angles.

I'm following up until 'gray'. There is no real gray on our site. If anyone uses dark sided/malicious/offensive powers, that's a corrupted Force user. They will be tinged with the Dark Side and be a dark sider. There's really no concept of 'best of both worlds'.

A non force using group would probably be easier to pull off.

My bad I should have been a bit more specific, by gray I meant like they aren't sided with the Jedi or Sith. I'm fine with obviously dark side users and such, since technically not all dark side users are sith; some examples like late Kylo Ren (who wasn't really a Jedi at the end of RoS just more so not a sith), late Ahsoka seemed darker, Mace Windu had a bit of an affiliation with the dark side, or even the Eternal Empire characters (don't remember their names) that were full dark side users but not tied with the Sith (except the emperor or whatever).

Now that I'm thinking about it a bit more the whole anti-Jedi/Sith propaganda in threads is more so equivalent to anti-force users since the force is entirely associated with those two groups. I was looking at more so the ideological aspect of it where a group rises up because they don't really like the way either side conducts themselves & their religious beliefs. Not saying that the group has to be consisted of force-users though. I was thinking it could be just be a rag-tag team almost. Like a couple of force-users that are neither Jedi or sith and then some other prominent members.
