Atroxus had sent out word, he would be offering instructions on torture and the methods of which one resists any affliction the enemy might use on you. Within the training circles stood the Sith Lord, waiting for those who might come. Sometimes the weaklings never showed, to afraid. They understood this master taught darker secrets than most. How to break minds, bodies...and they knew their own minds and bodies would be tested in turn.

Today he dressed in simple robes, designed for his species to allow for his wings to poke through the back comfortably, although his wings were still encased in their armor as they almost always were. Sometimes he missed the freedom that his wings gave him, the flight was always an amazing feeling, rising above it all. But at any moment some fool could challenge him, and he would not be without his greatest method of defense and a clever means of attack that his armor afforded him.

It was about time now, he focused, crossing his arms as he stood and watched as the acolytes heading other places watched him curiously. Occasionally a marauder would go passed, giving a slight bow of acknowledgment and all the while he stood statuesque, like one of those angels carved for various primitive beliefs out of stone.

OOC: Figure we'll close this off at 4 people, counting myself.

Fawn slowly moved as she came into the circle and stood with a grin on her face and licked the blood from her lips as she bowed to her master and kept her eyes on him as she stood straight and held up her hand licking off the blood. "My master, I have been told you can teach me new lessons. I am intrigued and submit myself to you tutelage."

The industrialized gears of society churned Kelric Thrain forward, toward the development and self-actualization that he so desired. As he walked, carried by his sleek feet, he couldn't help but revel in the noise of his fluttering robe - the sound spoke of his path toward the darker abodes of Sith Culture, his journey to master pain itself. Kelric might have found it to be a despicable art, were it not for its necessity as an instrument. It would ensure the superlative success of whoever wielded it effectively, and was nothing but an abstract subject that functioned as a tool - it could be sharpened, honed to perfection to so utilized in the physical plane.

The reason he was here was none other than the wish to advance himself, to take control of the clockwork known as himself, to then enforce its smooth progression. His evolution. After all, his path was littered with pain and suffering, grueling tasks and cumbersome events - all these aspects and difficulties shrouded the Sith themselves, giving them the chance to weed out the weak so the strong could prosper.

Pain was a given part in his reality, for it bore the cataclysmic fruit of success. Kelric would eventually pass the ardurous hardships that lay in the future, and by conquering these trials, he'd elevate himself above others whom were unable to do so. Only hard work and his own sweat would bring him to the highest peaks - it would be painful, at times, nothing but agony, that's why he wanted to know it as intimately as he could.

Entering the training room, he found himself quirking a satisfied eyebrow at the fine gathering, with him, they were four. Approaching the other three, Kelric bent his arched back and bowed eloquently, to so rise to his full, augustic height.

"Master, I'll be under your tutelage for the day."

His voice was inflated with the undertones of respect and reverence as he adressed the Sith Lord, feeling somewhat intimidated by the man's presence. With a slight smile, he shifted his smoldering gaze toward the beautific and slender forms of Astraia and Fawn, whom he gave a slight nod.

"Excellent...now, who can tell me the basic premise of torture? What are it's uses, why would it be used against you and what should your reaction be should it be used against you?" He asked the class, turning and looking at them all, one at a time. Each question had a purpose, and each wrong answer would get them a taste of what was to come. He watched eagerly as he waited for one of them to slip up a slight sadistic smirk on his face.

Fawn looked at her master and spoke as she grinned with a wicked smile and ran a hand along her knives. "Well that depends, some people have information but are too strong to break normally so you have to break those around them. Have the captain of a squad watch his men be sliced and prodded and he'll talk. Oh he'll talk about a great many things. Slowly Fawn looked around at the others as she licked the edges of her lips and flicked her incisor with her tongue. "If it is used again me well all the more fun my master."

"...reaction be should it be used against you?"

Kelric's clenched jaw relaxed some as he spoke, allowing a barotone and fluent voice to soar outward, so all could hear what he had to say. "My Lord, I believe the basic premise of torture is to dispense pain, be it physical, emotional or psychological. Its uses are many - be they to withdraw information, enjoy oneself or become intimately familiarized with the Dark Side." He spoke after Fawn and Astraia had their turn, rolling the words on his tongue, tasting them before he allowed his lips to move. Articulation and the art of polite speech was important to him, so he continued on after a slight, thoughtful pause. "I cannot divine the reasons as to why torture would be used against me as of now, maybe to make an example to the others were I to fail? As of my reaction if it were to happen? It would be hatred and unforgiving fury; a total devotion to my emotions. The promise of revenge would keep me going, no doubt - for as long as I have my desires, I do not believe myself capable of breaking." Kelric cupped his cheek in the slant of his palm, taking on a thoughtful expression, then, he spoke once more - in a low murmur, as if it was naught more than an afterthought. "What an arrogant statement..."

"Your both...lacking." he said simply, not really insulting or applauding. "Your reasons for the uses of torture are accurate but to think that if you were captured you would not have pain thrust upon you severely. But torture has another use...it can teach you to block out the most excruciatingly devastating forms of pain in the galaxy..." He said with a pause.

"And that is what we will be learning today. There are many things worse than death...and I can do all of them."

Fawn looked at man as he spoke and she grinned rubbing her hands together as she gave a small laugh. "Promise master." Slowly Fawn looked around at the others and then turned to the master as she rolled her shoulders with a smile. "So my master when can we begin?"

Kelric Thrain's face was dandied with a contemplative frown as he drank in the words' of Atroxus. With a slight nod, he cupped his jaw in the slant of his palm; to so murmur thoughtfully to himself. "Use torture to block out pain, hmnnn..." He shifted his smoldering gaze to Fawn, to so have his eyes traverse her in a critical manner. Pleasing to look at, no doubt, but she'd be his competition for the day. No mercy, he would devastate her with his performance; when this lesson was over, she'd be seething with jealousy. "Master, I'm more than ready to learn." Kelric's focus was changed to the Lord, whom was adressed in a subservient and respectful manner. This was a chance in a lifetime, and he would make the most of it.
