Theme

As dusk slowly envelops the lower forests belong the grand city of Theed. A shadow takes moral form and emerges from the treeline of the rainforest to a cliff just off the edge of the great falls. The form was that of a man, of a soul lost to the dark side. So much had changed for him since he last set foot on his home world. So much was gained and lost to him. The slaying of his parents. Warrior for his Inquisition, Master and partner to his twin and only soul mate. All of that was gone now. His mother, returned to the force. At peace and with the light. His Order, torn a sunder and burning to ash as the Order and the Empire fight not only with their true enemy but themselves as well. More important then all of that was the loss of his sister. Gone, taken from him as his quest for power took him to unknown space.

The pain and fear blurred with loss and loneliness. Feeding the darkness within. It was all consuming, like the mist from the falls he now stood before. He had returned to a galaxy fighting on all sides. No where to call home, no safe harbor to weather the storm not only in his own soul but in the galaxy as a whole. No where that is, but home. His childhood home. With him now were his only possessions left. The dark side, and his mother's weapon.

Naboo was not a place The Confessor ever thought she would visit in her journey. Not in her current position. Not with her current alignment. The Confessor, Ashlyn Sera, had once been the High Priestess of the Dark side. Now...she was a traitor to the Empire. But that was not her worst sin. Her greatest failure was her banishing the Darkness from her heart and accepting the Light into it.

But the Darkness would not let go of a faithful servant so willingly. It would seek to claim her soul once more....or rid it from the mortal plane. Ashlyn knew this was coming. She knew somehow the Force would find a way to test her, to tempt her, to torment her. She did not expect it to come for her so quickly. And in the form of a man no less.

By this time the priestess of no clergy sat in a small cot in the middle of the city. She was dressed in a white gown, but covered in a gray cloak so she looked no more impressive than a penniless beggar on the street. Warming her hands by the fire she tried to let out the feelings of darkness creeping about her soul. She could feel it. The Darkness pouring against the wooden walls trying to get to her. She was cold. So very cold.

There was no running from the Dark. The Confessor knew this to be true. Her escort, a Jedi Knight who took it upon himself to observe her reformation, would have to wait. She was to wait for him to return from his mission to the Order before they moved on to their next mission. But now something else took priority. She would find this force, this essence, this man. Weaponless, she drew up her hood and walking out into the daylight. It gave her no insist to the beautiful city of Theed for the priestess was blind. Guided only by the Force she went to meet her fate.

She only hoped it was not death that was waiting for her....

Virion was a loss of emotions and grim thoughts as the stood. Still watching that of the fall as the roar of the water moved him into a near state of meditation. A feat not often done by those of his ilk but one he managed to learn from the former lord of the Inquisition himself. The dark church was always different from that of the rest of the order. Seeing passion in faith, not that unlike the Jedi. Least that's how the now former Sith thought of it. As he was in the state his force sense was ever expanding. Reaching out to feel far beyond that of the creatures from this planet. Past the tree and flora. There was something that moved in the darkness. A power that seemed to him so familiar but there was something a miss, he could not put his finger on it. Not from this distance.

The former Sith moved from his perch beneath the edge of the city, jumping his way up the falls on rocks and trees with the aid of the force as he moved. Swiftly he moved upward until the city lights were a pawn him. Once at the cite's edge he merged with the chaos of the evening crowds. He could sense his target getting closer. Prey and predator were one and the same, the two of them were stalking for one another. Using only the living force to guide them. Like ships passing in the black void of space.

Virion did nothing to conceal himself within the force, only from what could be seen by mortal man. This was now a game. It had been so long since he last had a good fight, he was going to enjoy and hunt a little longer before getting to the dirty work of facing one he might have called brother or sister a time before.

A fight was coming. The Confessor knew it to be true. She couldn't very well get into a fight with so many civilians around; a panic would draw too much attention to herself. Though having the extra help would possibly assist in capturing the Sith who'd come to Naboo. Perhaps it was best she did contact Cole after all? No...this was her fight. The Jedi were not to be involved. If she died, she deserved it. That was the will of the Force. So where would she pick her grave?

Sadly with so little time to prepare, she had to stick to the city limits. But there was still the matter of all the people around them. The Sith were known for playing dirty, especially when it came to hostages. Though in all reality that would do little against The Confessor for she didn't give a crap about any of these life forms. Still...she didn't want this attacker to use them as weapons. She'd never actually seen someone do it, but it wasn't above their possibility.

Turning now into a less crowded part of time the priestess would find a factory. Yes this would do. Droids were rolling here and there carrying scrap metal. They'd pay her no mind. Ashlyn moved across the factory floor and found a semi-decent open spot to camp and wait. There were crates and pallets all around them, all packaged up and ready for shipment. These would be her weapons when the fight ensued. She hoped it wouldn't come to such a thing, but that was naive thinking. Even for her.

"You can come out now," she would speak to the darkness as it got closer to her location.
