He made a small, thoughtful hum in the back of his throat. All this freedom and now he was not sure what to do with it. He smiled at Choli, glad of the question that forced him to think it through.

Freedom was different, but so was spending so much time with Choli. It was something they were still adjusting to. For the months before the collapse of the resistance they had been starved of each other's company. She had been taken on a carrier to the front lines against the Sith. He had been deployed to various locations on stealth U-Wings. There had been weeks between being able to get a message through to one another.

He couldn't sing like his father, and was terrible at flying. His education had been cut short when the sith had taken him in. After that it had been the Force, the endless history of Sith Lords of the past and learning how to kill. Every day had been brutal, many students had died. Any chance of a more normal life with Jacen had collapsed in the chaos of Kaeshana. It had been left behind, along with his arm.

"I can do a lot of heavy lifting with the Force but we want to keep that on the down low. I could just do one manual work, but there are so many droids for that…"

The microwave pinged and Trextan retrieved the plates of steaming rice in sauce.

"I am actually quite good at studying…maybe I should take a course?"

“Courses require credits,” Choli would remind @Trextan , handing him one half of the poly-carb starch bread. “Unless you are able to apply into an apprentice guild and be sponsored.” she’d heard of a few that worked along the same way. However, this far out from the Core Worlds, it would be hard to find anything similar.

“Or you want to review some of the basic introductory courses for remote access?” perhaps another possibility.

“I could try and teach you a few things by fixing vehicles or ships.” Choli offered, taking a bite from her bread and chewing thoughtfully. It would be more of the sort of on-the-job training, but four hands were better than two. She could regulate him to the basics, where he wouldn’t do too much harm in helping her fix things.

“There has to be something else you know - maybe something you are not considering to be useful,” she added, licking her lips. Setting her bread down on her plate, she took her juice box. “What did you do with the Hounds then? How about when you were in the Sith Academy?” anything and everything could be considered right now as a skill, regardless of where he learned it from.
