DESCRIPTION​

Like the rest of the Ilum-Class Frigate vessels in the Galactic Alliance fleet it has large guns, armor and shields. It is designed for taking on other capital warships, such as enemy frigates, corvettes and cruisers. Like other vessels of it's class it is the backbone of the fleet and the largest, most powerful ship the faction may have in their arsenal. Like other Ilum class vessels The Valhalla is equipted with 14 dual medium laser turrets, 10 dual heavy laser turrets and a trio of turbolaser turrets that will allow it to take on vessels that are similar in size. However the ship is not equipped with a targeting or weapon systems to take on starfighters and other maneuverable vessels. So it still depends on smaller vessels that can take on small enemy ships as part of it's defense. Like others of it's class it can carry eight star fighters along with four shuttles.

Like the other various rebel vessels, The Valhala was built at a secret rebel operated shipyard that is beyond the imperial boundaries, with designs that Tycho personally saw to being built into The Valhala. Mainly the upgraded navigation system and a large enough hospital wing for the sick and wounded. It is basically designed to be a mobile base for the Galactic Alliance, Jedi Order, and allies.

Restricted. Ilum-class frigates are considered capital warships, generally making them illegal for civilian ownership.

INTENT​

This ship is the flagship of Tycho's fleet. The fleet was earned as part of a promotion / mission reward. The ship will be a mobile base for the Galactic Alliance and Jedi Order to use in between missions.

ADVANCED TECH​

YES. As this is an Illum class ship it is not easy to buy, steal or acquire. If a character wishes to gain The Valhala it will require a plot to do so.
