The Infernum was almost invisible against Bal'demnic's black sky. Below, mountains rose like jagged fangs from the planet's supercontinent and on the horizon a string of lights wrapped around the largest of these like a cloud of fireflies. Melkor knew the lights to be the abode of one Amaund Motierre—a human lobbyist from Coruscant who scoured the planet for undiscovered cortosis deposits, which he would then use to bribe the ore-dukes that ruled the planet. He locked in the landing coordinates, then swiveled the pilot's seat to face his companion.

The man seated next to him looked tiny compared to the Muun. Known only as Spectre, Melkor's chosen company was also human and a young human at that. But he was the only human that had answered Melkor's call for slicers, so the Muun elected to ignore his age and species.

"I have told you very little of my intentions up until now," the Muun said to Spectre. "I shall now rectify that. We are visiting the estate of a lobbyist that has curried some small favor with the ore-dukes of Bal'demnic. Amaund Motierre. It is my belief that he knows the locations of several cortosis deposits under the surface of this planet and is using them to bribe the ore-dukes that run this world. I would like to share in these secrets." Melkor paused to let the information sink in, then continued, "I will get you into the estate and to the main computer network. You will slice your way in and provide me with the location of one of these deposits. Just one. From there, you might also be able to re-reroute funds from his account as your payment."

The ship rocked and began its slow descent towards the landing platform. Already, Melkor could sense the thoughts of the men guarding the platform. They were confused. Neither of them had expected to receive visitors this late in the evening. The Muun resisted the urge to smile. He had not yet told Spectre that he was part of a clandestine organization known as the Sith Eternal, nor that he could use the dark side of the Force. That would come shortly.

"I trust you find these terms agreeable?" Melkor asked as the ship finally landed on the platform. @Faster Than Light

Spectre was seated next to his client, Melkor. He answered the Munn's call for slicers for the promise of some credits, as although the slicer is with the Five Syndicates, he does freelance work as well. He rode along here and wasn't informed of much really yet. The younger man was dressed in his dapper attire as he usually wears. While waiting there isn't much to go off of here and truth be told there is something about the other guy. He doesn't know what though, none the wiser. There is a payment though, as long as it's good it will be fine he suppose.

They were closing in on the planet and then the older and larger Muun started addressing him. Hearing him speak, he is now giving details what's the job is and what's going down. He would turn and listen to the Munn closely. He has a good overall plan for the job. Nodding in agreement, he would answer when asked if the terms were accepted. "They are acceptable." he said after the ship landed.

With that he would get up, standing ready. "Ready whenever you are." he nodded his head and smiled. Spectre had his usual equipment on his person, he has his tools of trade, armor protection underneath his jacket, and his sidearm in his inside pocket. He's ready to move out. Looking at the viewport he could already see guards coming this way.

This will be interesting no doubt.

"Excellent," the Muun replied, a thin smile briefly appearing like a crack on his egg-like head.

Melkor descended the landing ramp ahead of Spectre where he was met by three men wearing rusted old stormtrooper armor. First Order stormtrooper armor, from the looks of it, he thought as the trio of soldiers approached him. Our friend the lobbyist is somewhat of an enthusiast himself. How quaint.

"Halt!" said the trooper with the black pauldron on his right shoulder. "I have no record of this vessel. We are going to need to see some landing permits."

The Muun didn't bother to answer. He simply put his index finger and thumb together and imagined their windpipes closing, and all three troopers began to choke and gasp before falling limp at their feet. Nor did he offer Spectre any explanation. The slicer likely didn't care. He was being paid, and that was all that mattered; but if he was curious at all, the simple use of the Force would not give away Melkor's identity. For all anyone knew, he was a former Jedi who had found other uses for his unique talents.

When he was sure that they were dead, Melkor knelt down and picked up the nearest trooper's E-11 blaster rifle. He could not be seen using a lightsaber. Not yet. Not here. And he needed to use the Force sparingly, if possible. The slicer was a potential ally, but Melkor chose not to reveal himself fully until he was certain the man could be trusted.

"The First Order is long gone," he said aloud to his guest. "But some enthusiasts still fancy themselves as keepers of the old way. These were no true stormtroopers, but there might be more pretenders about." The Muun gestured with his long head towards the simple guard booth his victims had emerged from. "You will probably find their comm unit in there. See if you can jam communications. It should by us some time and render our approach invisible." @Faster Than Light

Stormtrooper armor. Relics of a bygone age, either Imperial-era or First Order armor, it all looked all the same to him. As the guards ordered them to hold and were asking for paper work as expected Spectre prepared a story, but watching his partner point his fingers the guards started choking and went down. He raised an eyebrow. :: Interesting :: he thought. He had a feeling before about the guy, but now... he'd smirk. Not every day that the person you are working with can do something like that.

As the man pulled up a downed troopers old blaster rifle, Spectre used this chance to put on draw his blaster pistol. Heeding the Muun's suggestion, he would quickly over to the booth and then get on the terminal on there. Thankfully the mooks never did log off otherwise it would take some breaking into to do what was needed. But after a few seconds Spectre would look towards the mysterious Muun. "Communications down" he would exit the booth. Turning around the way ahead is clear to proceed, there were no guards other than the ones at this checkpoint.

With nothing in their way time to move forward, they would get to the estate doors at the end of the path without issue. Now opening the doors, there would be an open lobby with a double stairwell going up along with two hallways at the ground floor going left and right in addition.

But there would be one custodian with a mop that's cleaning the floor, he would begin to look at the unwelcome guests with weird looks, not knowing what they are supposed to be. Dropping the mop, he would begin to flee, but Spectre would be able to quickly dash the distance and then put him in a sleeper hold after bringing his vibroknife with his other hand "Care to tell me where I can find the main computer network?" he kindly asked. "I... I......." as he winced.. After struggling the guy would then gave "Upstairs down the main hall... Can you let me go?" Spectre thinks that as good as an answer he will get, before he could do much else, he then started hearing the footsteps of armor klanging to the side, he'd be able to see three more of those 'Stormtroopers" coming down the right-side hall with their carbines in tow that were on patrol. Raising their weapons they would try to react to the unwelcome guests "Freeze!"

Melkor attempted to react quickly, switching his new blaster rifle to stun and firing a shot at the nearest stormtrooper, but, as if it was not already clear that these were not real stormtroopers, they proved it when they reacted even faster and actually managed to shoot Melkor's blaster rifle out of his hand. They continued to fire, quite clearly intending to kill and not stun, and Melkor sank into the Force in order to ensure his survival.

The stormtrooper fakes were good. They had far better accuracy than the real thing. Even subsumed into the currents of the dark side, Melkor could only just barely dodge the retaliation shots they fired at him. He could only hope his companion from the Five Syndicates could hold up as well. He could not risk using his lightsaber here, even now. Spectre probably already suspected he was some manner of Jedi. But a bloodshine blade would change all of that. If the slicer failed to kill the troopers, as well, Melkor would have to find some other means of getting them out of this situation.
