Crix Aran is looking to move up in rank to Jedi Knight but wishes to do so in a way that is in keeping with tradition and gives him a sense that he has earned the right in an undeniable way, rather than just as an accumulation of talents and experiences. Of the five Jedi Trials, Crix's Master has decided that his experiences mean he has already passed the Trial of Courage. However, this leaves four more trials and with his own Master incredibly busy with Council work, Crix and Hannibal have arranged for different Knights and Masters within the Order to be given a chance to set a trial for him.

What am I expected to do?
We're following Jedi Trial canon as far as we know it so your Jedi will give Crix a particular task or mission to complete that they feel encapsulates that virtue of Knightood. You can either come up with the idea and keep it secret from me OOC or we can brainstorm in DMs to come up with a task for Crix to attempt.
Can I fail Crix if my character feels as though he has not succeeded in the task I have set?
Yes you can. If Crix does not show that virtue of Knighthood as far as your Jedi is concerned? Absolutely fail him.
Do these all need to be set at the Temple?
You have total creative freedom - the trial you choose may be set anywhere within reason and last as long (IC) as you like.
