The transport provided by Master Tik from Pilgrim's Point entered the Rooted Moon's atmosphere. Master Tik put his trust in Isen to recover the Master Mandibu's holocron as well as the other keys to opening it, and Isen put his trust in a group of others in the Order to get the memory crystal and the Lightning Tree. Isen, however, wouldn't miss an opportunity to be on the team that went after Master Mandibu's holocron. The other items meant nothing without it. According to a personal ledger of Astaal Vilbum, a former Caretaker of First Knowledge, there was good reason to believe that the holocron would be found here. The Vanquisher III had the holocron on board when it crashed in the recovery effort after the Great Hyperspace Disaster. The Hertzal System had a great many crises on its hands, and a full scouring and removal of the remains of the Vanquisher were never completed. According to the manifest of things that were recovered from the Galactic cruiser, the holocron was noticeably absent from the list. The hope, of course, is that in the rush to get the necessities and bodies off the Vanquisher, the holocron was left as an oversight and that it would still be on the ship.

The ship flew over the spot where the Vanquisher crashed and still laid. Its remains were still there, though they were surrounded by a lush green jungle of vines and thickets. Master Tik postulated that it was possible that the holocron activated itself and somehow caused this rather lush growth, surrounding the massive cruiser in a living, green prison. He also offered the possibility that the growth around the cruiser could be due to someone opening the holocron, learning its knowledge, and practicing right there at the ship. The Order lost track of the crystal long ago, and it also could have been on the ship at the time of the crash, only to be salvaged and finally end up in a different part of the galaxy. If all of that was the case, there was no guarantee that the cube would still be anywhere near there, possibly not even on the moon at all. If that were the case, the holocron may be lost forever.

One thing Master Tik was sure of- the plant growth surrounding the cruiser was not natural to the planet, and it would be more than an odd coincidence that for such growth to begin where this particular holocron that teaches such knowledge should be found.

The transport landed at a spaceport about 15 klicks from the site of the crash. Isen entered the commons and addressed the Sluissi padawan and the Dathomirian Knight. "We're not far. You have the coordinates on your datapads. We can rent some speeder bikes and get there in no time." He took a look at the Sluissi and wondered how he might ride a speeder bike. After being a padawan with a Vratix master, he learned not to underestimate species' abilities to adapt to humanoid technology. He may be an expert speeder bike rider for all Isen knew. Still, there were other options. "I think I also saw a landspeeder as we were landing if that suits anyone's fancy."

Isen opened the door of the transport and lowered the ramp before looking back at the team. "Any questions before we find Master Mandibu's holocron so we can return it to its rightful place in our archives?"

Sace stood in the transport ready to follow his fellow Jedi's lead. Dressed in light tan robes, the Sluissi had what he thought he would need for this mission including his ancestral katana lightsaber (albeit unknown to him), a blaster pistol, and simple tools such as his datapad. His first mission was diplomatic, therefore the serpent thought it more interesting that his second be one of adventure. And once he heard of the mission briefing, he knew that this particular mission would suit his desire just right. The Rooted Moon was yet another place he had ever dreamed of being, and in visiting yet another foreign planet, he was already fulfilling his dreams of viewing the galaxy. Though as they passed over the moons surface, he could distinctly recognize their target, being that it was covered with fauna that no other region of the planet had.

Full of hope and excitement, his trust in both of his more experienced counterpart Jedi was tremendous. The Sluissi knew that partaking in this particular mission would grant him more knowledge of the Jedi as a whole, and hopefully more than that, though he was merely happy to be as involved as he could.

"Ssspeeder bikes worksss for me!" The Sluissi replied, understanding that his less humanoid features made him standout, a trait that he was more than used to at this point in his life.

"None from me. I am ready to go!" The snake said, realizing that his excitement was noticeable through his words, and took note not to make it so obvious that this was soo new to him while being with two established Jedi Knights.

"I think I'll be alright," answered Jaesa of Isen as she made her way down the ramp. The Rooted Moon was of moderate temperature, so she had come without her heavier robes. There was a slight chill in the air at the moment, but as her eyes laid open the overgrown cruiser she felt assured that it would disappear as the plants grew thicker.

"Actually, do you think there will be anything other than plants inhabiting the old cruiser, by chance? With all that plant life I would not be surprised if we encounters wild life inside." She said this as she stepped off the ramp and toward the speeder bikes Isen had pointed out to her and Sace moments ago. She waited for a response, then continued toward the bikes. There were a couple of Twi'lieks overseeing the rental station, and after a few quick words, she paid them for a speeder bike. After handing the man the credits drawn from her pocket, she turned to look over her shoulder to see if the others were with her.

The young Kiffar knight nodded to the reptilian Jedi that all would be good. He knew better to assume, but options were good for everybody. He had never worked with a Sluissi before despite their relative commonplace appearance throughout the galaxy. Still, as a Jedi, Sace was a bit of a rarity.

"Actually, do you think there will be anything other than plants inhabiting the old cruiser, by chance? With all that plant life I would not be surprised if we encounters wild life inside," the padawan would ask. A fair question, no doubt.

"Foliage that dense? I'd be surprised to learn that there wasn't," Isen answered. "I think you're point is well-met. We shouldn't approach the area lightly."

After paying for his speeder, Isen would lead the group toward the overgrown crash site. About half a click from the site, however, he was met with a fence roughly three meters tall with electric bands and wires every meter or so running horizontally. The entirety of the fence was overgrown with lush, green and thorny vines. It would be impossible to climb and and not look you came out of a fight with a wildcat. Isen turned and sped alongside the fence until he met what what appeared to be two guards, both Twi'leks, clothed in military dress and armed with large electropoles in their hands and blasters for sidearms. At the site of the three Jedi, they closed ranks around a gate and held their poles out like pikes.

Isen came to a stop, took off his helmet and calmly stepped off his bike.

"This is a restricted area! No entrance allowed!" said the purple Twi'lek. The other was orange.

"May I ask why? This is the sight of the Vanquisher crash is it not?" Isen asked.

The two twi'leks looked at each other and muttered quietly to each other. The orange one was next to address Isen. "Yes, yes, it is. But the crash site is not the reason for the security. It's dangerous. The plants...they're alive in there." He must have gotten a good look at Isen's confused expression. "I mean, of course they're alive, but I mean they're...killers. People that go in, they don't come back out. We're not trying to hide anything. We're trying to keep you and your friends alive."

"I see." Isen took a step forward toward the guards, and they jutted their electropoles at him as a reminder that he was to stay away from the fence. "Alright. I'll stay back. I assume you know that the cruiser that fell was a Republic cruiser. Jedi were on that ship when it crashed." Isen motioned to his lightsaber hanging from his belt. "We are Jedi, and that being a Republic cruiser with Jedi artifacts, we believe we have legal rights to the ship and the contents inside of it."

The orange Twi'lek pointed as Isen with his electropole and said, "Stay there. I don't like this sound of this, but we'll talk it over."

As the two Twi'leks begain discussing, it was easy to see they were in disagreement. While they hashed it out among themselves, Isen turned back to his fellow Jedi. "What do we do if they say no? We could offer assistance with the, uh...murdering plant situation, I suppose. Mind tricks may work. They don't seem like the sharpest vibroblades in the armory." Isen took a long look at the fence. Could likely be jumped with relative ease. "Or, we could just...jump the fence and go anyway." He looked back at the Knight and Padawan. "They're terrified of what's inside. I don't think they would chase us in. What do you guys think our next play should be if they don't give us the answer we want?"

As the trio were all in agreement, and having just procured three, not-so-new- speeder bikes, Sace couldnt help but think of Jaesa's question. Sace fitted his rented helmet on his head, which seemed too tight and the strap has come loose, though he would push on along with the rest. Sace didnt think about what obstacles they would face, and to be honest, the security of having two established Jedi Knights with him gave him a comfort that all could go well with this mission quite easily. Though he would still look for any opportunity top learn from them.

Maneuvering on the speeder was just a little different for a Sluissi. He could only reach one foot pedal with his tail, therefore a clutch-rod was required so that the other pedal could be manipulated by his non-throttle hand. As tarnished as these speeders seemed, they fared quite well on this particular terrain. Though once they had met with the overgrown fence.

Once they got to speaking with the Twi'lek's, or once Isen got to speaking with them, Sace could see genuine concern in their faces. As if this enclosed area has taken so many that it has become a personal objective of whatever body of government this moon had to protect its other citizens from it...though Sace was not completely naïve, and it always remained in the back of his mind that these two could be duping the unknowing and concerned Jedi.

"Truthfully, they sssemmed concerned...Perhapsss if we help them with their problematic fauna, we could remove the need for their sssentry and protect them..."

Sace could hear it in his voice, though it was too late to take back, despite believing in every word. He joined the Order to help people, and this seemed like a problem that could use their help...it also seemed as though by accomplishing their own mission, they would be able to learn more about this murderous brush.

(mobile, sorry)

Jaesa watched quietly as the two Twi'liek men retreated to discuss amongst themselves whether or not they would let her and her companions pass. After listening to Isen's question and hearing Sace's response, Jaesa chimed in with hers.

"Why don't we just do all three? Ask first, suggest if that doesn't work, and if worse comes to worse, we can just sneak around." That way they exhausted the easiest options first. It would be a shame to sneak in if they would let them in. "Plus, I agree with Sace. If they need help, we should offer it."

The other two Jedi were wanting to do this as much within the guidelines of the local law as possible. Isen understood it, but he also felt like things could be expedited if they just jumped the fence. He doubted very seriously that someone would come after them, and it would be for their own good anyway. After a few more minutes of conversing, the two Twi'lek guards came back.

The orange one coughed and said, "We've been on comms with home base. They said we can't allow you to go past the wall." The purple one came and stood beside him, his pike in ready position. They seemed prepared to fight three Jedi over this wall.

Isen held his hands up and said, "You have had this problem for almost 500 years. What if I told you we could solve the problem for you. We have reason to believe that this unnatural growth is due to an artifact that a Jedi had in their possession on the cruiser at the time of the crash." Isen folded his hands in front of him and nodded. "Because the Order believes that we may have culpability, we understand that we may have some obligation to fix it."

The purple guard took a slightly more offensive stance with his pike and said, "You have been given your answer, Jedi. Leave the area."

Isen shook his head. "No. No we will not. We will jump that fence with or without your permission. You must know that you can't prevent it."

The two guards looked at each other muttered in hushed tones. The orange one said, "They said you would refuse our commands and go anyway. If you want our blessing and to do this legally, there is something else you must do."

Isen nodded. "Of course."

"The great grandfather of the Chief of the Guard died beyond the wall. He was wearing a necklace of pure gold. It was a family heirloom that had been passed down for thousands of years," the guard said. "The Chief says if you promise to try to retrieve it, you may enter and try to find your lost artifact."

"You want us to find the remains of a body decades old with a gold necklace nearby in that large of an area? In foliage that thick?" Isen asked.

"We have his last known coordinates from when his datapad last pinged. That is all we can give you."

The Kiffar looked back at the group and shrugged. It looked like their job just got tougher. He turned back to the guards and said, "I guess you have a deal then. Send us the coordinates."

As the Jedi Knight turned to face his fellow Jedi, their datapads would all ping with the last known coordinates of the Chief's great grandfather. Isen sighed and looked to his group and said, "Well, now we have two artifacts to track down. We might should go ahead and jump the fence before someone else adds to our grocery list."

The Twi'lek were stubborn, though they had cause. This fauna clearly plagued them for some time, long enough for their ancient chief to have died, and dangerous enough for them not able to retrieve it themselves. This certainly sounded like a mission for the Jedi to help out with, however it did get in the way of their main objective. Sace did not want to fight them, they were just doing as ordered and in the same sense attempting to protect more death from this unknown growth.

"Yesss. And perhapsss we are making an ally that can help us in the future at the sssame time. Though letsss go before they change their minds." Sace retorted, unknowing whether they can go right passed the guards or jump the fence at another point.

Jaesa received the coordinates on her datapad. She studied them for a second, then looked up at the two Twi'lieks. They were looking back at them.

"Alright, lets get a move on then?" Jaesa braced herself, then took a running jump and cleared the fence. She landed on the other side, and after standing up, turned to look and wait for the others. She figured that if they were gonna let them through anyways, they might as well go ahead.

Isen nodded to the Twi'lek guards. They were grateful that the Jedi were going to jump the fence. They didn't want to open the gate for fear that the killer plants would come pouring out and take them to an early grave. Isen wasn't that concerned about it. After all, the plants had already grown over the fence and were dangling over the side. It was as if they knew their boundary, their territory, and they had no desire to expand their reach.

Isen jumped the fence and landed in lush, thick green vegetation up to his knees. Immediately, he felt something that felt like rope wrap around his ankles and then yank, causing him to trip and fall. Isen knew he didn't just happen to land in a rope trap. The odds of that were more than a million to one. The plants, they were alive and well, and they were not at all happy about this incursion into their land. Vines and plant stems tried to start wrapping Isen up like a constrictor snake, and soon, his entire body would be invisible to the eye, engulfed and covered by an attacking green horde of living sentient plants.

The Kiffar Jedi was able to weave his hand to his lightsaber hilt to ignite the blade, and the blue blaze of energy made quick work of the vines and plants that tried to seize him. Once both hands were clear, Isen would get his left hand on his other lightsaber. Isen would make quick work of the plants around him, creating a small radius of safety around him that would be about as far as he could extend his lightsaber. If the plants were going to be this aggressive, he wasn't sure they would have the necessary firepower to get the holocron, and getting the amulet for the Twi'leks? An impossible task.

Isen looked up to take note of the other two in the party to see how they were fairing with the attacking plants.

Nat 100 on plant aggro - So plants are incredibly aggressive, like want to kill us aggressive until we do something about it
Isen's Fight to get free from the plants - 52 out 100, "everything goes as planned"

You don't have to roll if you don't want. It's labeled as Self-DM, so you can be as successful as you want to be. If you want to gamble a little bit and add some intrigue, feel free to roll. I'll leave it up to you.

Sace watched as Jaesa made it over the fence with little issue. The Twi'lek guards with their jaws nearly to the floor, especially as Isen followed suit. Though this time, after a brief moment, Sace could hear a loud yell coming from the other side of the fence...Oh shit...sounds like Isen. The Sluissi grabbed his katana and slithered over to the fence. He wasnt as in tune with the Force as the other Knights, therefore the Padawan would have to scale the fence, using his serpent body to find the grooves that were able to propel him further up. He accomplished this at great speed, wanting to know if Isen was doing alright and exactly what the issue was.

As Sace made it to the top, he could see the fauna attacking the pair of Jedi, dragging the dark skinned Jedi deeper into its maw. From his height, Sace was able to coil his tail and propel him towards the Knight, reaching out with his katana to cut down whatever tried to grab onto him. Sace hit the ground in a roll, one that landed him not far from Isen who had made a lightsaber length path around himself. The Sluissi slithered into a better position with his back to Isen and his katana towards the oncoming plants.

"You good?..." Sace said aloud, never taking his eyes off of the plants, though they were coming closer. As they had the serpent lashed out with his sharp sword, cutting down the plants that attempted to reach out to the pair.

Jaesa ignited her lightsaber to swing at the vines circling around their legs, visibly disturbed by the aggressiveness the plants were showing. What power in the holocron was causing such a reaction in these lifeforms? Her eyes flashed toward Isen, who was looking back at her and Sace.

"This is going to be difficult," she muttered. Her eyes moved back toward the fallen, flora-infested ship of interest. "I think our best bet is to move quickly and be careful. As long as we watch each others' backs we might be alright."

The Kiffar Jedi nodded in agreement. "Yes, we need to get where we're going and try to get out."

Isen started walking his way through the lush undergrowth, using both lightsabers as a glowing machete, instantly clearing away the plants around him in a circular radius around him. He could sense something through the Force...it was an anger, and it was building. With every slash, with every vine that was cut, the emotion within the huge walled area grew stronger and stronger.

Isen stopped and held up a hand. "I don't know if you all can feel that or not, but we're really, really antagonizing...something. I think it's the plants," Still, he had no choice but to continue hacking away as the plants persisted in their aim of wrapping him up and pulling him under the green blanket forever.

"If you two will cover me, I'm going to try an old trick that a dear friend, Jedi Novaron Rah taught me back on Yavin when I was a Padawan." The memories of Nova brought a tinge of sadness to the Knight. He had encouraged this interest in nature for Isen. It led to Isen becoming fairly well adept at forming Force Bonds with beasts. Not just calming them which many Jedi had learned to do, but forming true Force bonds so that the animal became an ally, not just a docile creature that would leave them alone. Those were the happy memories. More sadly, He and Isen were on a mission to Dathomir when Rah perished at the hands of a gang of Nightsisters and their apparent queen. "Maybe my old friend gave me the tools to see us through all of this."

Isen extinguished his lightsabers and went to one knee, placing one hand on the ground. Immediately, the very dirt and earth that he touched screamed for him to let go. No...not the dirt. The roots underneath. Isen had practiced this so much, he could normally begin to pick out individual plants and animals with larger plants and animals or those with strong predatory or territorial instincts coming in stronger. The animal life was there, though not as abundant as one might imagine. But the plants...they weren't coming through as different signatures. It was not good. Isen opened his eyes and looked at the pair of Jedi around him. "Well, somehow, the plant life here...Every tree, every vine, down to every blade of grass....Is using one mind. Over time, though they are individual and separate organisms, they have somehow melded together to form some sort of...hive-mind sentience."

As if on cue of being figured out, the plants around them seemed to grow more lush, an inch or two higher at a rate that even the eye could pick up on. Isen grinned and shrugged at his companions. "Should be a great story for the kiddos back home, right?"

Sace stood prepared, his back again to Isen who had dropped to one knew and appeared to be trying to use the Force to solve this issue, hopefully it would at least make them less aggressive. Though even as he did so, the fauna and vines did not let up, reaching towards them now that they have stopped. They were closing in with every second. Sace hacked away with his sword. Fortunately they were slow enough at this junction that there was time and space to move with every swipe of his sword.

Sace peered over at Jaesa, who was hopefully doing the same, than down to Isen after he had spoke.

"Hive-mind? Could thisss be because a Force user opened the holocron?"

Sace's mind was running. It was certainly possible that they were dealing with something even stronger than all of these plants, something that was either controlling them or the cause of their behavior. Either way, it had Sith written all over it. The young Jedi did not want to say it out loud, his eagerness would make him sound suspicious. Though he wanted to know and get to the bottom of this.

Jaesa stood covering Isen, lightsaber ignited as she hacked away at the planets reaching to grab them. When Isen explained the situation, she furrowed her brows and thought for a moment. As Sace had suggested, perhaps this was the cause of someone opening the holocron?

"Do you think its possible for us to reason with the hivemind? Or is it going to remain aggressive towards us?"

Isen stood and hacked away at the greenery that was tried closing in around him. Mistakes and missteps could be deadly here, and if any of them got sucked into a green tomb, it would be extremely difficult for the other Jedi to find them to pull them out. Despite the plants "learning" about the dangers of the lightsaber, they would persist. Isen noticed they were trying to problem solve. They would noticeably grow in one direction as a distraction while trying to close in from behind their intended target. When that didn't work, they would try other ambush tactics.

He looked at Sace and nodded. "That's the most logical conclusion I can come to, but it seems like it's gotten out of control." When Jaesa asked if the plants could be reasoned with, Isen pursed his lips in thoughts for a moment. "It's possible, but if they were given a directive by another Jedi to protect this place at all cost, it will be a bond very difficult to break. I had a similar situation with a large bull rancor on Teth who was bonded to a Jedi that was no longer there to protect a garden. I never could create a true bond with the beast."

Isen continued slashing away. He wasn't entirely sure that they would have the stamina to keep this up. If they tired out, the plants would not. He looked at the other knight and shrugged. "But I think you're option is the best one available to us now. The best of bad options, I guess. I'll try to get the process started. This will be unlike anything I've tried before and far more dangerous. A bull rancor is big, very big and semi-sentient. But it pales in comparison into this massive plant hive-mind mass of flora that we're up against now...and it is sentient."

He looked at Sace and said, "Your job is to make sure we don't die. If the plants start to overtake us, you hack us free." He turned to Jaesa, the other knight, and said, "If I make any headway at all, join in, and maybe together we can reason with it."

Isen dropped back down to one knee and closed his eyes, reaching out with the Force. He allowed himself to slip his essence into the wildlife around him, including the plants and them into him. It was more difficult than anything he would have tried before due to their sentient nature. He outstretched with his hand and immediately a vine lashed out and twirled around his arm. Isen knew this would happen. Another would snag one of his feet and another around his waist. He used the Force and their touch to start connecting with the collection of plants, a message that they were Jedi like their master, and there to help.

The plants eased a little, relaxed their grip on the Kiffar. They were quite unsure what to believe, but through the Force, Isen started planting thoughts into the sentient to secure that idea. They were on the path to release, but the job was too big for Isen alone. The plants could turn on him at any minute. Sace had to be prepared to cut them loose, and Jaesa needed to finish the job.

The Sluissi nodded towards the Jedi Knight. though his nerves were beginning to get the best of him. It was difficult to remain calm when getting swarmed by murderous plants. Though the thought stuck with the young Padawan. Plants trying to kill a trio of Jedi, sounded like a bad movie. The Sluissi chuckled. This calmed his nerves down a bit while Isen dropped down and began his Jedi ritual with the plant-mind. Sace's job was important, well all of their jobs were important. Though Sace had to protect Isen and soon Jaesa too on his own.

The plants grew more aggressive as they now saw their opportunity to strike being one Jedi down. Sace hacked and hacked away, branches and vines being sliced to bits and starting to pile up all around the trio. Though Sace was faring well enough, it was only because he currently still had the help of the other Jedi Knight. They had the fortune of using lightsabers which made qu8ick work of the vines, however Sace had a heavy katana that he swung depleting his own stamina much faster than a lightsaber would.

Sace struck out, a vine much thicker than the rest coming straight for him. The Sluissi hacked at it with his sword, though the thick vine only split half way through, fortunately it was enough to halt its progression towards him, unfortunately it also cracked the Sluissi's blade.

"Shit!" Sace cursed, unable to curve his language due to frustration. Sace knew little of the ability of the sword he held in his hand, knew not why the hilt had certain grooves and even a small button. All he knew that it had belonged to his great uncle who had been a Jedi of some sort. Though that information would not help him now. The serpent held a hilt with a cracked blade in his hand, Sace had half a mind to pick up the sharp end on the ground and use that.

At this point all he could think to do would be to stab at the vines and saw them with the jagged hilt. They grew closer with all this in the Padawans mind. ..

Jaesa nodded and knelt down alongside Isen. She was very unexperienced in this sort of activity, but she remained firm that she could try. As they did to Isen, the vines wrapped around her limbs. The Knight struggled for a moment to connect to them, but as Isen calmed them she was able to pull through and begin to aid him. The vines continued to constrict her legs and arms, leaving bruises as they flexed. And just as she thought she might pass out from the lack of blood flow, they began to loosen as her thoughts of calm and of no harm finally joined with Isen's to calm the plants down. The vines released her, and she fell to her hands and knees.

"I think...it...I think...it worked."

The vines released Isen as well, but dang if they didn't stay close. Isen looked up and at Jaesa and nodded, the job done...for now. It was an uneasy peace between the Jedi and the protective plants. For now at least, they were willing to give the Jedi the benefit of the doubt. Isen looked at Sace as he stood back to his feet. Despite being in his trance-like state with the plants around them, he still heard the ambient noises around him. That included Sace's curse.

"I don't care if you curse. It's why you cursed that is a point of reflection." No moment like a moment of life and death for a teachable moment, Isen supposed. "Don't panic. Don't raise your alarms." He motioned to the plants around them. "These plants are not like other plants. They can read and feel your emotions, and they will act accordingly. If they think you will panic and cut them down, they will lash out in defense. Be mindful of the Force, and it is an ally that will prevent your worries from rising to the surface."

He saw the cracked blade and saw that it was cracked. Isen reached reached behind him into a sheath in the back of his pants where two more lightsabers were always stashed away. He pulled one of them out and ignited it, a snow white beam of light extending outward from a black, sinister hilt. For those that could put two and together, there was but one explanation- Isen had the lightsaber of a Dark Force user be it a Sith, a Dark Jedi, or a Dark Side cultist. The blade had once been red, but purified to white. He extinguished the blade and tossed it to Sace. "You may need a blade that works. And I expect it back. That didn't come easy."

Looking to both of them, Isen said, "I think we should get the Holocron first. Then, if the plants allow it, we can go after the amulet." He reached out with the Force asking the plants to guide their way to the holocron, and soon, the plants began to shift their direction. The leaves began to point to the northwest, stalks began to bend to the northwest, limbs and branches began to twist in that direction as well. Isen shrugged and said, "Hopefully they aren't taking us to certain doom."

It was a bit of a joke, but deadpan as Isen was, it would be quite believable. And besides, it was quite possible that the plants indeed were walking them into a trap. They were, after all, sentient and capable of such. But, ass the plants suggested, Isen started making his way to the northwest.

Unfortunate. Unknown to Sace or any one alive to this day, the hilt of his katana served as a lightsaber hilt, and the button on its side would have activated a bright purple blade. Though the surprise would come another day as Sace stashed the hilt back in his sheath, the remnant of the older blade enough to hold it in place. Sace thanked Isen with a nod, the lightsaber hilt certainly looked fierce, nothing like he'd seen before. Nor had he ever used a lightsaber yet, that bit of his training he hadnt yet reached. And now he would have to learn on the fly. Sace inspected the blade...

Did he kill a Sith for this thing?

Sace also nodded to the Jedi Knight about his teachings of his emotions. Sace knew that being so new to the Order, he had yet to completely reign in his emotions as a Jedi should. Cold and stoic, brazen and stern were traits he had yet to learn and emanate from his masters teachings. He was still a teenager at heart, and not a Jedi teenager. Though these lessons would come often enough to impress upon the serpent.

Sace would have to get himself in check if there, or he himself, were planning on getting out of this alive and intact. The others depended on it as well as to not make their job any more difficult or to worry about the foolish Padawan who ruined their mission and caused them to fail. No, he wouldnt let that happen. And so while he was speechless as a response, he took in every word that Isen had said.

Now it was his turn to trust in Isen's judgement. All of the sentient plants had pointed in one direction, one in which Isen intended to follow. They could easily be walking to a trap, though he knew that Isen's connection with them would have flushed out any possibility of deception, or at least he hoped that was the case.

"If the sssource of their power is the holocron, than I agree. perhapsss if we obtain it we can at leassst silence the agression of these plants."
