It was approaching midnight as The Vagabond found herself back again on Nar Shadda. It seemed like no matter how many times she wanted to leave and never set foot on it again one reason or another would come by to drag her back. This time she was searching for something. Nar Shaddaa was a planet of many things and one in particular was the ability to get your hands on any illegal or hot good you could ask. Though she wasn't searching for a vice, no she was looking for something else. A forbidden fruit that was knowledge. The days of the Empire and the First order resulted in the destruction on many resources regarding the Force as well as information regarding the Mandalorians. Both were but myths to most people and yet to her she had first hand experience with both. One was driving her insane and the other had both condemned her and saved her. She needed to know about both, and well there was a dark net of forbidden knowledge on Nar Shaddaa if you got lucky and talked to the right people.
She tried to hide her presence but suspicious inquiry and the loose mouths of brokers too afraid to betray the hutts tipped them off to her return. She was paying for her search of knowledge. She was wandering down the dense city streets in as fast of pace she could maintain. She was gripping onto the side of abdomen trying to keep pressure on it thanks to the fresh stab wound she got from a enterprising bounty hunter that tried to take her in. He was taken care of but not before he could let others in the area know she was there.
She needed somewhere to hide and treat her wound, and as of now she felt like she needed to find that place now. Her eyes found an unassuming shop and decided on that being where she would hold up. Getting round to the side of the building trying to find another exit she would find a unassuming backdoor. Her bloody hands now reaching forth to her datapad and a I/O cable to connect the pad to a hidden service port for the lock. Her hands where trembling and she nearly dropped the pad several times as she kept darting her head over her back to see if anyone was following her. It seemed like the streets were quiet for now but that just made things worse in her mind. Not seeing a thing meant that if something was there she wasn't seeing it. A few agonizing seconds tabbing through the software she was finally able to get the lock to open lending a soft click to the mechanism.
Quietly opening the door she would enter and then close it barely containing herself in order to make sure she didn't slam it shut. With the door shut she just sat on the ground keeping her back to the door. Giving her some time to just slow down and think. She looked around to see what she could make out but the darkness in the building made it impossible to tell anything right now other than a bunch of vague shapes for now. Still at least she seemed to have found refuge somewhere that seemed to not have single soul inside.
