Josh thought for a second. What did he want to learn? "Hmm. I would like to learn the form, Niman. I know its an all around form, which is why its good to know. Its also not an aggressive style. And I'm trying to curb the aggression in me," he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

[What?]

Josh broke the trance and landed on his feet. He turned to meet Niva. He smiled as she spoke. What did he want to learn first? He paced a little back and forth. He wanted to learn a new lightsaber form. One that would be a passive style, but could prove deadly on the offensive. He then had what he was looking for.

"I wish to learn the lightsaber for, Niman. I understand its a balance between the first five forms. And I think it'll suit my new style of becoming a Jedi," Josh said as he took his robe off, using the force to hang it up on the far wall.

((you could have just said you wanted to continue learning Niman.))

Niva nodded. "Right, well, I taught you elements of Ataru yesterday, which one did you already know again?"

"I know Shii-Cho and Juyo, Niva," Josh said with a smile.

((couldn't remember if you knew makashi or not, thx))

"Then I'll teach you the basics of Makashi next." Niva smiled. Pulling two blades from the wall she tossed one to Josh and kept the other for herself.

"Now Makashi is a form entirely designed to be used against other lightsabers." Niva activated the blade and began to run through a demonstation of the various stances and thrusts involved in Makashi.

((time skip 2 hours))

"And those are the basics of Makashi." Niva sighed, her brow wet from the long period of practice. "And that is pretty much all you need to know about the elements that make up Niman, the rest comes from your mind. You need to figure otu a way to blend these elements in battle to outmaneuver your enemy."

"Hmm. Its a very, interesting form. Creativity, I have. So I don't think that will be a problem for me. As far as my training goes, do you personally, think there are any force powers I should do as a Jedi?" Josh asked, raising an eyebrow.

"There are many power's I would recommend." Niva nodded. "However, part of my study of you is a psych exam, so I am going to ask you to decide which powers you wish to learn."

Josh thought for a second. What power could he really use to benefit himself? Or maybe other fellow Jedi's or other allies? He rubbed his chin while thinking. He then spoke, "what do you know of healing when it comes to the force," he asked Niva. Hoping she knew something on the subject.

"Healing is something of a specialty. There is even a training built around learning healing." Niva smiled. "I want you to head to the hall of fountains and try to raise individual drops from the fountain until you have enough individual drops to fill a hoverball. Then release them and do it again. If you can do this for 8 hours in a row, then you are ready to learn healing. Don't be surprised if it takes you awhile to learn this technique as it is very Force intensive."
