The Red Crown
Death to those who forsake my crown.
History
The Red Crown was a ring created for Evalyn Drast, the only daughter of the famed Dark Lord Kravos, by her first husband. Though the man's name has been lost to history, the beauty of the ring was not, crafted by not only the greatest jewellers of the age, but men and women who could master the manipulations of Sith Magick, Alchemy and Kyber Crystals. Considered for a long time to be the finest ring ever crafted, The Red Crown was made of pure platinum strengthened with Sith Alchemy to be unbreakable. Two diamonds, corrupted by Sith Magick to glow even in complete darkness and a shard of the Lightsaber Crystal of Evalyn Drast's father Lord Kravos, standing defiant in its centre.
Even after the death of her first husband Evalyn kept the ring on her at all times, much to the dismay of future husbands and suiters, slowly overtime it becoming part of her. It gave her a deep connection to her first husband, but more importantly to her late father and the Dark Side itself. When a Kyber Crystal had seen so much blood, death and pain it becomes something more, a portal into the Dark Side of The Force itself.
That portal only grew larger as it sat on the finger of the Drast, like her father before Evalyn was steeped in the Darkness and the ring fed upon this and she on it. Becoming almost symbiotic in nature as time went on. When Evalyn passed from this plain, the first thing that was mentioned on her will was that she be buried with the ring, never wanting to part from it, both in life and seemingly in death.
ABILITIES
The Kyber Crystal within The Red Crown allow one to store a portion of the Dark Side energy into the ring prior to combat, allowing them to use a single Dark Side Only Force Attack without having to channel the Cosmic Energy whilst defending themselves. The Dark Side power that is stored within the ring, must be stated either on the character sheet or at the start of a PvP.
Intent
To create a new piece of site lore/artefact for Sith (Alt) to chase down.
