Why did Oren's trail lead here? It was the last place she thought to find him, though admittedly she was probably the last person he expected to see here too. She'd been avoiding him, his calls, trying to center herself again. She felt she needed it, but that changed when she heard rumors about Oren. Were they actually true? If they were, then why? Why did he abandon his people?

Mixed with confusion, there was a small inkling of anger there that she was trying her best not to feed. She needed to focus.... she couldn't lose control.

If nothing stopped her, she'd touch down on the planet beside his ship. There was a great amount of darkness here, it teased the edges of her senses. Her mind fought against the idea that a small, deeply buried part of her, was attracted to it. Shaking her head, breathing in, she tried to push it away the best she could.

Lilith made her way off the ship and started towards the temple where she assumed Oren would be. She clicked on her comm, "Oren?"

Vinry emerged from the forest, her eyes falling on the perimeter wall that surrounded the Temple compound, remember better times. Before the Sith, before the corruption, before just being here made her hands shake and her stomach churn. She had just been wondering where to start looking for the padawans when her eyes fell on a masked figure moving towards the entrance. The confidence in their strut, in the face of the oppressive weight of the nexus, the general appearance of their armor, it screamed Sith. Or maybe that was just the nexus messing with her. But who else could it be.

This was bad, and if the padawans were inside then it was just going to get worse. She suddenly knew why she was here. The Force worked in mysterious ways, but if you listened then it could guide you down the path you needed to walk. She hadn't known why she had been drawn back to Ajan Kloss, but now she did. Last time she had failed, she hadn't lifted a finger as the Grandmaster fell, this time would be different.

She unclipped her lightsaber from her waist, the violet blade snapping to life as she moved towards the Sith. "Sith!" She called out loud, loud enough for her voice to carry beyond the wall to the complex beyond. If the padawans were inside then she wanted them to hear, to hear and hopefully flee. "You are not welcome here, turn around and leave." The message was as much for the Sith as the other Jedi. Turn around and leave. Leave while there was time.

As for her, she had no idea if escape was possible. She had seen the ship fly overheard, she couldn't discount the fact that even now it might be blowing her X-Wing up, even if Niner had managed to get back and prep the ship. There might be no escape for her, but there would be one for the kids. They were the future, and if they survived she won.

Raze kept his gaze trained ahead, hearing the Marauder next to him speak, “Focus on any movement you see. This place appears to be far more active than expected,” The displeasure was apparent in his voice. He didn’t like doing more than he needed, and it appeared that his time on Ajan Kloss would become a nuisance. Raze was about to move closer when his keen ears picked up some noises off to the side.

The Sith Lord looked to the side, his higher ground providing more line of sight than others would expect. He could see some rapid movement along the grass, cutting a path towards the direction that led behind them. Raze worked out that it was a droid. He normally had an abundance of tolerance for droids - they were efficient without the emotions and drama to be a pain for him to deal with. However, this one was heading in a very particular direction.

Raze’s ship was one of two things that could get him to snap in an instant. The fact that the droid was beelining right for it caused an abrupt surge of anger that would be felt by both Renfry and Wiley. The Sith Lord turned from where stood, coiling the Force around the droid. It was isolated from anyone else that could help it - and if anyone tried, they would be intercepted by other Sith.

Raze slowly stepped towards the droid, holding it in place with the Force moments before he unleashed a powerful stream of lightning. He held nothing back, pouring his strength and hatred into it. His ship meant more to him than almost every living person he knew, and he was hellbent on destroying the thing that even dared to think about going near it. If successful, the lightning would ionize and completely disable the droid, causing significant damage.

Xiann’s heart paused for an instant when she saw the all black figure slowly walk out of the forest. There was no real evidence to show that they were hostile other than they looked exactly like the image of Death she had from all those nursery tales from when she was younger. No one nice dressed like that, right? Right.

She reached to grab her friends shoulder for attention but realised Lani was already way ahead of her in spotting the danger. Before the pair had time to act another mysterious figure appeared. This one already had their saber lit and was dragging it along the floor menacingly. That was a Sith if she ever saw one. In a flash Lani was on the bike yelling for Xiann to do the same and without hesitation she did.

As the pair soared into the air, the Twi’lek kept her eyes on the grounded pair and her blaster drawn just in case. She saw another spproach the forest sith and ignite a lightsaber. “Rusty! Aerial pickup! Now!” She yelled down her comms at her droid, with a response coming through immediately, “R...Roger!” A few moments passed before the Padawans ship could be seen hurtling back down through the atmosphere at what could only be described as ‘an unsafe velocity’ and heading straight for their location.

Xiann realised they must have been another Jedi, and they were outnumbered. She had to try and warn them about the Orange bladed sith. They had to come in a Jedi vessel right? Perfect. She put her blasters in thei rholster and began pulling at her comm, "Rusty, find any Jedi signals near the temple. Force transmit message: 'Violet blade Jedi. Orange blade sith in courtyard. You are outnumbered. Suggest withdrawal.'" Rusty sent back no reponse, hopefully he'd send the message though. If he wasn't too busy pilotting at high speeds.

The fear from the padawans was enticing to the Sith woman as they looked upon her in dread. Tiamat chuckled as she enjoyed watching them go from confidence to cowards; she was starting to think from the Jedi she had met and even the stories she had read, that the current Order was only a shadow of what they once were. The Force twisted around her as she watched them panic and backing away toward the swoop bike in an attempt to make their escape. One yelled for the other as they climbed onto the seat of the bike; there were more Jedi as she heard someone yell from behind.

The bike started and would jerk the padawans back as they rapidly accelerated, but they would find it would stop violently, sending the padawans forward and flying off the bike as the Force came down on the nose of the swoop bike. The woman grinned underneath her helmet as she watched the swoop would summersault across the field, pieces flying off in all directions, rendering it useless for any escape.

Ok, not so stupid...

Tiamat ignited her blade, the bled pearl screamed in the Force, "Tsk, tsk, tsk, leaving so soon?" she taunted as she approached the Zeltron and Twi'lek padawans, still cautious of the Jedi she had heard from behind her. She glanced over her shoulder to see if they were still following before turning back to the padawans. "Are you not curious to see what is here?!" her words dripped with the Force as she reached to stroke their fear.

Wiley heard the direction Darth Raze had given. The Sith Lord's armored figure turned its attention towards something else. A spherical dismantling machine b-lining it through the foliage. Perhaps the rangers or Jedi had machines for scouting or something else. Whatever it was, the Sith Lord intended to act quickly and follow his own advice.

The blonde woman's words said it all as they reached his ears. She was concerned for the two padawans Darth Raze's apprentice was 'approaching'. Wiley moved to his left along the treeline a bit, intent on heading the Knight off before she reached the edge of the left temple wall. The knights focusing on protecting the weakest among them would be a weakness the Marauder intended to exploit. The handle of his lightsaber was gripped tight in one hand, ready to activate in a heartbeat.

Once he was close enough, the Force coiling around his arm and then letting out in a blindsiding push. In his mind he wished to see the beacon of light dashed against the Order walls that had once protected her. He moved out of the treeline, activating his saber as he revealed himself. "Ironic, wouldn't you say?"

Sensors picked up additional ships, a freighter on the other side of the temple complex somewhere and, more importantly for the moment, a common transport that landed directly next to Morgan's current target. The Sith watched the latter ship touch down directly next to the YT-1300 freighter seconds before he was in range to fire on it.

Even behind his helmet and sunk into work mode Morgan couldn't help the bewildered expression that crossed his face. He shrugged and included the second ship in his targeting solution for flyby. The young Sith had one main job in this scenario, and he wasn't going to complain if people made it easier.

"Target lock, one two, torpedoes away."

Morgan angled slightly, slowed to attack speed, and fired two torpedoes from his supply of four as @Lilith was exiting her ship, one at her craft and the second at the YT-1300. Against unshielded and grounded ships of that size, a torpedo was more than enough to crack them to pieces and leave them little more than burning slag.

On impact each torpedo would detonate, setting off secondary explosions and sending a rush of scorching flame, a shockwave of person-flattening force, and deadly shrapnel off in all directions to join the twin proton detonations themselves. @Lilith, who was still beside the ships when Morgan fired torpedoes, was also well within range of the explosions. She'd be struck by the explosion and suffer severe burns, kinetic impact, and a hail of shrapnel as a result.

Morgan's starblade would fly overhead, picking up two more things. The first was a smaller ship off somewhere currently powering up. The second was a shuttle on a straight line, break neck path toward the ground. Morgan angled up toward it, passing high above the jungle trees, and locked on.

"Ship inbound, intercepting," he reported over the Sith comm lines and fired a full barrage of his four medium laser and two ion cannons into the shuttle's path ahead of it, trying to take it down or force it to break off. The starblade's targeting computer was quickly figured out a missile lock, since the shuttle was moving in a straight line, while Morgan approached at an angle off to the side. Currently it was already an easy target, but if the pilot was stubborn and went for pickup or landing, all the better.

Curse's journey for the unknown ship was abruptly cut off as a familiar sensation gripped her limbs and prevented her from moving any further. The Pistoeka immediately recognized this as the Force she had witnessed Eisa and others display in the past, and immediately understood the extreme danger she had wandered into.

The buzz droid made a futile effort to struggle against the unseen power locking her in place, chittering out profanities quietly to herself as she tried to break free. All the while her sensors were alerting her to one of the organics she had noticed before approaching, and her droid brain rapidly began running through possible scenarios of how she might be able to escape. Unfortunately all calculations were coming up at 0%.

Nevertheless, the droid managed to turn just an inch or two, her photoreceptors getting a look at half of the organic's body. She resorted to the only avenue available to her, communication. //Now... I know what you're thinking-// The buzz droid started in a clearly distressed tone, only to immediately be cutoff by the Sith lord's attack. The wave of lightning was far more then the Pistoeka's frame could bare, especially exposed as she was with her shell casings open. Her systems were burned out within just a second or two, leaving the droid to fall over limply, it's photoreceptors going dark.

“They’re Jedi.. They have to be.” The words trailed off of his lips as his glossy black eyes tracked their movements, watching as the pair attempted to make their escape on an idling swoop bike. As the vehicle would begin to accelerate however, it would instead be pinned to the ground by someone newly revealed. He analyzed her rapidly. She was masked, her identity hidden, yet in an instant, her nature was exposed. Her saber was red. Turning on his heels, another emerged from the woodwork, flanking the two assumed Jedi.

“These idiots are going to get themselves killed.” He spat. They were a ways-away, but not too far; he could get there if he made haste.

Shifting his weight, he lowered his pulsing orange saber low to his left side and pushed off his soles, holding it with both hands tightly before breaking into a dash. He breathed from his nostrils, channeling his energy, and focusing, the force carrying him forward at rapidly increasing speeds until he leapt in great strides, his overcoat whipping to-and-fro behind him.

When he neared his quarry, he slammed his heels into the ground as dirt accumulated beneath his boots, his momentum causing his lithe frame to slide forward towards the Sith. Fluidly, he drew his saber outwards to his right and swung the blade forward with precision in a wide, powerful arc, batting it outwards towards her midsection, his lightsaber crackling with increasing instability. Letting a hand release from the hilt while maintaining a firm grip with the other, he extended his palm forward immediately afterwards and let his fingers sprawl, pressure swelling before amassing into a powerful force-push. The violent energy would jet towards her as a wide cone, flinging dirt and gravel astray in its path. The push harbored enough force to at the very least topple her, if not send her flying backwards altogether.

For all the practice with the saber, Lani lacked the arrogance to think that she could stand against a Sith. Any sparring victories she might've achieved had been just luck. That's why her plan was simple: "Up! And away! Fast!" The familiar feeling of hands on her waist served as the "Go!" signal for the bewildered Zeltron. She pushed the pedal and hit a switch, and the black swoop started soaring up and gaining speed, as it normally would.

But then something happened. The nose of the swoop got pushed down by invisible weight. The masked Sith's manipulation was effective, albeit not in the way she might have expected. Powerful repulsors designed for high altitudes weren't easily turned upside down, and could adapt to shifting weight. They prevented the bike from making a summersault and the subsequent crash; perhaps Xiann's weight on the backseat also helped. But for all their capabilities, the repulsors couldn't account for the speed...

One moment, Lani was speeding up. Next, the swoop's nose went down at least 15 degrees, influenced by something cold, foreign, and arrogant. The Zeltron got pushed forward, making her foot let go of the pedal, and her grip on the handlebars as tight as possible... And then everyone around would be treated for a show.

The swoop spinned as a centrifuge, with the front repulsor at its center. The sophisticated mechanism struggled against Tiamat's pressure. For a moment, it would be pressed to the ground, sending sparks and a loud nasty screech in all directions. Then it would briefly lift off in defiance, allowing for the center of the cyclone to move. Then it would touch the old stony ground again, sending out more sparks. All the while moving away from Tiamat, in line with the initial momentum.

For as long as Tiamat kept that pressure applied, she could enjoy watching that tornado dying down, accompanied by the defiant screeching of metal, and the fearful screaming or purple flesh... Lani's hands were hurting from the grip, as she was yelling her lungs out and holding on to the handlebars for her dear life. Even though she wasn't pushing the pedal, and the whirlwind was slowing down, inertia still made sure it wouldn't stop entirely for a second or three.

The others began to move from the trees and skirmishes broke out across the remnant of the temple grounds. For a moment, Renfry remained still. Her eyes drank in everything that was going on as the Sith went to work with vicious efficiency.

Renfry could fight and hunt and kill just fine, but this place, this nexus, was her baby. She had created the curse here and she knew how to manipulate it. In a brief flash of green, a sword was summoned to her hand and she began drawing symbols in the dirt overlooking the skirmish.

Her lips curled wickedly as she took a seat among the symbols she had created and began to quietly speak. Like green fire around her, the runes began to blaze as she spoke and the power of the nexus grew deeper and darker.

Each of the Jedi in the area would feel the weight of the darkness. It would feel like their muscles were sluggish. As if with each movement they made, they grew weaker, drained by an unseen force. Meanwhile, the Sith would feel the opposite. They would be able to feel their blood running hot, empowering their every movement as they struck out against their ancient enemy. It was a well of energy waiting to be drawn on by the Sith and tempting the Jedi to tap into it for survival. Time was on the side of the Sith, and the Jedi would soon perish in that reality.

Raze didn’t bother to keep looking in the direction of the lightning, knowing the sound of a collapsed and sizzling droid when he heard it. The droid parts were on the ground and not moving. The Sith Lord turned his focus instead on the action ahead - namely watching his apprentice stride out and engage others in battle. Wiley had done the same with the Knight that had shown up on the scene rather vocally.

The Sith Lord decided to act, standing near the edge of his elevated position where he could see everything below him. From here he could see the speeder bike carrying the padawans spinning in a circle. Raze could also see another Jedi quickly rushing towards Tiamat and preparing to launch an attack.

His mind would tap into that of his apprentice, speaking nonverbally through their bond to give her clue to his intentions. They were bonded beyond needing words, and he would act in concert. The Force would coil around the speeder in an effort to send the entire thing to the side and directly into the path of the charging Knight right as he swung his blade and unleashed the Force push.

The attempt would result in two things: The saber would cut through the speeder and anyone on it and the Force push would blast directly in close proximity into the speeder and its riders. Raze wasn’t concerned on whether or not the riders remained on the speeder at his abrupt maneuver, but they certainly wouldn’t feel it coming. Such was the deft skill only a Sith Lord could muster.

It was a move Darth Raze had become famous for on Kessel where he was known as Spicelord.

Xiann watched as the Orange Sith charged the Forest Sith, were the Sith not as united as she was led to believe? Did they always just attack each other like that? This train of thought did not have much time to continue though, as the bike suddenly started bouncing around as if it was a wild beast bucking a new rider. The Twi’lek tightened her grip on Lani, both to keep herself and the Zeltron anchored to the bucking vehicle as much as possible.

The pair were holding on for dear life, possibly quite literally. As Lani kept the throttle on full blast the shaking and bouncing became ever more violent, drawing a scream out of the Zeltron, shortly followed by one from the Twi’lek. She could almost feel her brain rattling around in her skull and could barely think straight. So this is the power of the Sith? She heard the sudden roar of engines and opened her eyes, hoping Lani had somehow boosted the bike. This was not the case. Instead her vision locked on their ship speeding towards them through the open areas of the temple. “Oh kark!”

………….

As the ship plummeted towards the planet, Rusty scanned the consoles as alarms started blaring about incoming missiles. He tapped a few buttons on the console before pulling all the way back on the throttle causing the engines to reverse thrust slowing and stopping the ship momentarily. The sudden G-forces caused all of the loose items and detritus to fly forward, several items bouncing off of the rear of the pilot seat. The droid watched through the window as several cannon and laser shots from the fleshball's ship sped past only a few metres from the nose of the ship.

Rusty’s CPU rapidly started to try and determine the next course of action. It would be easier to pick up his master if he were to dispatch this meatbag, but the delay may also cause unnecessary injury to her. However this equation was easily solved when one of the variables increased exponentially. Xiann’s scream blared through the comms, her distress causing the guard protocols of a Droid to slam the throttle forward and the ship began to scream towards the planet once more.

Pulling only minimal evasive maneuvers in case the meatbag decided to fire again the ship’s descent slowed only as he pulled back and leveled the ship out just above the treeline, then dropping to be barely metres from the stone ground. As he rounded the last building he saw his master and his friend on a speeder bike scraping around on the floor. Aerial pickup was clearly impossible, but immediate collection was necessary. There were two lightsaber wielding fighters nearby, he didn’t have enough data to know who was friendly and who was hostile. Radical action was required.

More console button presses and the side door of the ship opened and the ramp began to extend. As it reached the ground sparks began to fly as it scraped the ancient stones lining the floor. When the ship was almost on top of the group Rusty reversed thrust and engaged the rear lateral thrusters on full, causing the ship to slow and swing around. Pivoting from the nose of the ship the rear would swing out and round. The droid watched as the ramp became a spark firing scoop of sorts, aiming to collect the bike and it’s occupants.

As the scoop began one of the saber wielders began to fly towards the bike, though it seemed unintentionally. If he got too close he’d be pulled in to the ship too, Rusty glanced at his rifle currently laying on the console. Just checking it was within arms reach should the stranger be hostile.

Suddenly after speaking on her comm, fire and pain took over her body and she went flying into the distance. Two missles had struck the ships, though she really had no time to fathom it. She knew at that time she was dying, and part of her, even with the mix of fear, was relieved.

Her struggle was over.

With the few seconds she had, she thought of her former masters, both Talak and Oren. She forgave herself, and Talak, and even Oren for whatever reason he'd left before she faded into the darkness.

Vinry was about to move to help the padawans when she felt the effect of the Sith Sorceress manipulate the Force, pressing down against her like an oppressive force, dropping her to a knee. That was when she heard something to the side, movement neat the tree line. She barely had time to react as the Sith attacked, pushing her back as she slammed her list blade into the ground. Her lowered center of mass worked to her advantage as she was able to plunge the blade into the ground even as she was pushed towards the wall. She hit the wall with a thud, hard enough to hurt, but her efforts have slowed her just enough to not incapacitate her.

Her left shoulder throbbing with pain, she grunted as she forced herself to get to her feet. That was when she spotted the other figure, the last of the Sith to reveal themselves. There was something about this figure, fully enclosed in armor that would terrify by sight alone. Yet she could see with senses beyond sight, she could feel the power emanating from him. She weighed her options, and as the wind changed direction she suddenly noticed a powerful smell in the air. Was he wearing cologne to battle?

Either way, there was little she could do for the padawans if this one was still in the field, she didn't know how dangerous the others were, but this one was definitely beyond them. Maybe even beyond her, but if they were to escape then she had to try.

She lifted her blade and pointed it straight at the armored figure. "You lead here, don't you?" She started walking forward slowly, keeping an eye on the Sith who had attacked her earlier in case he tried something, but focused on the armored figure. "Face me, and let the children leave. This is not their fight."

Raze heard explosions in the distance, the starfighter that belonged to Morgan zooming through the sky above them. His focus was trained ahead as he saw another ship coming in to do some odd maneuvers entirely too close to the ground. Like with the droid, he didn’t linger too long, pivoting to gaze at the voice that called his attention. The Sith Lord stood in silence, fiery explosions reflecting off the steely surface of his helmet.

The Force would rapidly coil around her neck, compressing to cut her off mid speech, “You talk too much,” The mechanized voice cut in abruptly. The Force would attempt to grasp her by the neck and bodily lift her towards him. Raze had little desire to venture down to her when he knew Morgan would likely engage the shuttle that was attempting a hasty rescue attempt.

The Sith Lord’s dark energy could be felt almost tangibly, and it was bolstered by Renfry’s efforts in amplifying the dark nexus in the temple. Raze didn’t draw his saber just yet, the Force coursing through him. An icy chill emanated from his person, the very earth around him reacting to his presence. He had tapped into something dark, and he tempered rage and chaos into methodical execution. Vinry would sense it all because he was purposely not holding back.

Tiamat watched as the padawans maneuvered against the pressure of the sith's power against the swoop bike, both girls(@Catbert @Xian) screaming against the whorl of the engines and suddenly she wanted nothing more than to shut them up quickly regardless of the method. She continued to hold onto the nose of the bike, seeing orange saber of the other Jedi(@Flower) from the corner of her eye as he rapidly approached her and the padawans. She was ready for another round of attacks, but plans were going to suddenly change as the comm buzzed in her ear, hearing Morgan call out for another interception and alerting her to another volley of air fire could be heard as he closed in.

Tiamat inhaled the cold chill of her master as instinct overtook her senses; she felt Raze in her mind and body, their movements fluid as her grasp released on the bike and he would take over,, jetting the bike and the Jedi women into the dash of the orange-sabered Jedi. Avoiding the collision would be near impossible, the Knight was on his set trajectory and would have been given little if any warning that the bike was now used as projectile. His attacks to defend the padawans would be better served to defend himself from his own brethren used as a weapon.

Tiamat of course, was backing away quickly, the urgency suddenly to get out of ground zero of her fellow Sith Fighter seemed entirely more pressing than to mess around with unsupervised Jedi. She saw the Jedi shuttle overhead, coming in rather low, she could suddenly feel the Shadows grow stronger from Renfry's enchantment of the dark nexus they resided upon. It powered through her veins, breathing more oxygen into her muscles, heart and lungs as she carried herself swiftly away, back to the forest from where she came and from the incoming Jedi shuttle and Sith fighter that would be following its tail.

The two ships detonated beautifully, flames bursting through tree branches and sending shards of smoking ship arcing through the air. Morgan felt a life snuff abruptly out of existence in its wake, and it brought a fanged grin to his face behind the helmet. He'd have to confirm who he'd hit later, unfortunately, as Morgan still had work to do.

The Jedi shuttle stopped abruptly to avoid the initial shots, drawing a tutting sound from the young Sith. Morgan held down the weapons trigger and turned the nose of his ship left to rake a burst of laser and ion fire across the ship's side while it sat still. The missile lock confirmed the moment the shuttle stopped moving, but it didn't fire just yet.

When the droid-piloted shuttle resumed its rapid descent the starblade turned to follow around behind it, taking advantage of the starfighter's much more powerful engines and the shuttle's lack of evasive maneuvers. Morgan kept pace with the shuttle and continued to rain shots at the descending ship the entire way down. The rush of Dark energy from Renfry's ritual admixing with the deep fury that burned beneath the surface and sharpening his focus to a razor's edge, lending him even greater accuracy and reaction time.

The shuttle leveling out provided a much larger target for the storm of bolts, but what really drew his attention was the loading ramp lowering to the ground. The starblade turned to approach a little more from the side where the ramp was after the shuttle had turned around. Morgan's grin widened behind his helmet and offered one last, growling warning.

"Target locked, firing."

Now dragging, rotating, and actively slowing, the Jedi shuttle was a sitting duck with a very hostile fighter on its tail. The starblade's nose moved left and a concussion missile launched, locked on the now rotating, dragging, and actively braking jedi shuttle as it approached the two on the speeder and the man with the orange lightsaber. The starblade straighened, firing another burst of its six cannons directly at the cockpit while the missile arced toward the the engine compartment- and the boarding ramp. If it struck the ship it would easily be devastating, crippling the engine or even detonating the entire vessel.

While the shuttle was the primary target, @Xian, @Lani Tallis, and @Algus Doll would also be very within range of the missile detonation whether it struck the ship itself or the ground beneath. The three of them would be subjected to a blast capable of tearing holes in durasteel armour, much less unprotected flesh. Those struck, and the surrounding area, would suffer a bone-shattering concussive blast that was enough to reduce a person to paste and red mist, a deafening sonic boom, and a hail of shrapnel from the missile itself. Even more if the shuttle or speeder exploded along with it.

The power that coursed through the man's body was something he reveled in. Even moreso thanks to Renfry and the work she had done. He would need to remind himself to thank her later. While he liked flying his ship, there was a joy he took in doing things close and with his own hands. The Knight reacted quickly and was better than the padawans. The last thing he wanted was to deal with the same level of ineptitude as a youngling. Sullust had could have been more satisfying.

Behind his mask, Wiley's grin turned to an expression of anger. The Sith had been the one to announce himself as her opponent and yet she ignored him and challenged Darth Raze. Wiley's breath inhaled as the force built up around him again. Throwing his hand forward, Wiley sent a continual stream of lightening at the woman from his finger tips. The Marauder wouldn't make the same attack twice. The dark clad sith wanted the Knight to be punished even for thinking she was worthy of directly challenging the Sith Lord. She was not going anywhere without going past the Marauder first.

The explosions and whir of engines were not ignored. They were known to a greater degree than the others. The hiking high pitched wine, and the rumbling thrum of the other separate ships barely required Wiley to give a cursory glance to the sky. It was music to Wiley's ears.

The more injured and unable to do anything about it the better. If she were gasping for air, that was just the icing on top. It was more than for just his own satisfaction. Wiley wanted the Knight to feel despair in her final moments. Even moreso, he wanted the padawans to feel how Vinry felt in her final moments. "Don't ignore me Jedi."

It seemed everything had gone wrong in a matter of moments. Oren had been making his way away from the back of the temple and towards the courtyard of fallen Jedi when things had gotten out of hand. He felt the presence of others around this area of darkness. Shifting to look to his side, it seemed Nara had vanished from his side -- where she went, Oren was not sure.

But, there seemed to be a far greater danger that screeched through the sky, a starfighter had taken to the air and seemed to be firing upon something. That was when he felt it, even through the darkness that swelled within and around the temple, he could feel her presence, and her words. Lilith.. His heart seemed to swell, he needed to help her at that moment.

There was a streak through the clouds and then an explosion that bloomed from the depths of the canopy. He felt it then, the sudden rush and the vanishing trace of her presence within the force. His mechanical hand reached up naturally to rub against the burns that stretched across the right side of his face -- the same lacerations that she had caused.

There was a cloud in her signature, an uneasiness with her situation. She hadn't been given a choice in her path, and the trauma of her past had at times held her back from finding the comfort she needed. So much darkness, but the potential for light had always been there. He felt it at that moment, she had come because the force had willed her to, she wished to help or continue to pursue bettering herself, and in that moment when the mortal coil of this existence had come to an end, he could feel echoes of acceptance and peace with her fate -- I'm sorry Lilith.

His teeth clenched as he looked back from the direction he came, there were more in the area, but there was no point in stepping into such a cause now. Instead, the former Jedi Master would turn and would make his way down the backyard steps and onto the trail that had lead into the depths of the jungle. It was a trail the Jedi Master had taken so many times before, and one he was familiar with. It was there, where he'd go and remain for some time, and contemplate on what had transpired this day.
