The -crack!- of blade biting blade was unmistakable, the -kzsshh!- was undeniable, but, as much as Leh’Min’Ayd loved to spar in the dark, all she wanted to do with this darksider was stick her lightsaber inside her chest. Maybe in that FACE!

The green sword swept away from the purple, leaving the latter to fall through the air before it fell into an upwards arc.
The wielder sent her sword for the woman’s neck just as light bit Leh’Min’s side, but it was not a lightsaber.

The Togruta shrieked, plunged her saber between her and the lightning, spun toward a wall and struck her back. Blade brandished, light and lightning ready to dance.

Nothing came except for words. Words. Words are wind.
“My master?”
What would Master say?
It was Leh’Min’Ayd’s turn to narrow her eyes into slits.
Rage. Rage against the dying of the light.
Rage.
Against the light.
The light.
The light!
THE LIGHT.
THE LIGHT.

“What will yours say,” Leh’Min smiled. “After you get beat by a PADAWAN!’
Step into my cave, Sith!

Lem waved at her opponent with her left hand, dropping a ceiling vent’s heavy grill toward the brown head beneath it.
That took fingertip effort before the palm opened and pushed against the wall.
That push sent Leh’Min flying forward as she kicked off to cover the distance.

Wind swarmed around the girl as the Force catapulted her across the floor, but she would not fly from above.
A sudden sweep from her right hand sent her saber soaring toward the woman’s left hip.
The man had done that to the Trandoshan and it worked for him.

The floor was hard so Kayden got up. One hand held a hilt, the other held a child.

My kind?”
Kayden shook his head.
“I am one of a kind, kid. There is no one like me.”
Stepped closer.
“There is only me.”
LIAR, KAYDEN.
LIAR.
LIAR!
LIAR.

The boy looked so helpless. A helpless, helpless boy.
He spoke, but feebly so. A lonely, lonely voice.
Kayden came closer, pinning a weight against a chest against a wall.
Hammer and anvil.

The boy was weaker than the man, that much was obvious, but there was a storm within him, the kind that a Kayden could only find to be most peculiar. Come here, hurricane.

His fingers curled in, tightening the grip on that boy’s chest, curious as to how much force was in that heavy heart.
That lonely little—

Something flew his way. Kayden didn’t want to let go just yet. He swung his saber instead as the cabinet went the way of the Trandoshan.
Both halves split apart, flew by either side of a white suit no longer so white on account of what fell out.

Glass cracked beside boots designed to crack bones but the parallel ended there.
Kayden didn’t know what was in some of this liquid but he did want to know what the boy’s blood might show him, on the inside or the out.

“Everyone is a monster, Pad,” the tutor taught.
“Some are born, some are made, some are weak, some are strong.”
Tilted his head.
“And then there’s Kayden Skyler. He who fights monsters.”
He did, after all, save two Jedi Padawans from a mad Trandoshan.
"Just doing my civic duty as an upstanding citizen of this monstrosity of a galaxy!"

Kayden’s grip weakened just then, a kind of spasm, as his face flinched. The kriff?
His cheek itched, stung, then it burned as the nerve endings beneath the skin were all but lit on fire.

The man kept the boy pinned, tried to, as saber-hand's fingers flew to face, felt something wet but it wasn’t red. It was yellow.
Kriffing cabinet.

The pressure on his chest was becoming unbearable as he felt his ribs squeeze in. Fear washed over him again, but his struggle was in vain. Would he really die here, at the hands of this man? He couldn’t, he’d—

Then some of the weight suddenly disappeared. He could breathe again, and when he did, he concentrated the Force around himself as if in a bubble, dropping down to the ground and onto his hands and knees. Taking a couple heavy breaths, he looked up at the man, something yellow on his face from whatever was in the cabinet. He didn’t want to know what it was, either.

“You,” he said, struggling to catch his breath as his heart raced, “you think you’re fighting monsters. But you’re not. The only monster here is you.” And her. He looked over, heard a clattering noise, and saw the grill of a vent dropping down on the Sith woman’s head. While the man was distracted with the liquid on his face and the woman with Lemon, he reached out with his hand and felt his crystal within the lightsaber, humming in her hand. With a strong pull, he yanked the hilt out of her grip and back into his own, clambering to his feet once he did. He had an idea, and they would just have to hold on a little longer. Or, in Lemon’s case, keep up the offensive. Come on, Lemon! You can do it!

“Catch me if you can,”
he said with a slight grin. Switching off his saber, he raced into the dark hallway, away from the Sith and towards the generator room.

“You insolent child!” How dare this Togruta make such a claim? Cheriss wasn’t going to be beaten by some random Padawan with a superiority complex. The girl extended a hand, the Sith heard a rattling noise, looked up, and just then the grill began to come down. Using her free hand, she caught it with the Force before it could hit.

“Karking little—” Then she felt the lightsaber being yanked out of her other hand, and saw the Padawan jumping at her, her lightsaber aimed at her hip. Eyes widening, Cheriss could only roll to the side and let the grill come clattering to the ground, just narrowly avoiding the girl’s lightsaber passing over her. Getting to her feet, she took out her own, the familiar glow of crimson red plasma washing over her figure as she regained her balance. Her hair was utterly messed up now, her eyes wild. You are so done, Lemonade.

“You don’t understand what you’re doing, Togruta. The damage you’ve done. If you knew what was in that computer you wouldn’t have destroyed it.” She heard footsteps, saw the boy run. “And now your friend has abandoned you.” With that, she shot another bolt of lightning with her free hand, wanting to hear her scream.

Leh’Min swung. The blade missed. Didn’t matter.
She centered on her opponent, became the blade herself.
To follow her opponent, step to the left if she stepped to the right, circle her, orbit her like a death star.

Wherever the woman went, however she moved, Leh’Min’Ayd would be there, ready to swing again.
I’m not going to let either of you leave this room alive!

The woman spoke but the harlot could eat her words. Anything a Sith said was poison. The Sith were poison.
There was only one cure to it, the girl once learned in a deep dark hole, and she held that cure in her hand.

Leh’Min raised her sword, pointed light upon the dark, but swung her head back and saw the boy run.
“LIN!”
Where was he going!?
Saw the man.
Saw red.
Saw purple.
Saw blue.
Saw every light in the galaxy.

At first, in that isolated instant of time and space, Leh’Min’Ayd wouldn’t call it excruciating, not even burning, but bright.
So bright she could feel the light.

All that light coursed through her body, danced from head to toe, made her dance too, arms and legs twitching like a broken marionette.
Then she felt it. Felt the heat. It began to cook her, inside and out, even bone, head to toe, like a microwave, then she screamed.

“NOOOOOOOOO!!”

And she fell.

That was odd, appropriately annoying. Wipe and scrape, he just couldn’t get the blistering liquid off his face.

“Monster?”
Kayden looked around, mildly confused.
Does it sting? Yes, it would explain the yellow. It would explain the yellow. Agreed. Who?
“Me?"

A lightsaber flew but it was not his own, the boy's returning to its rightful owner as he prepared to take a stand with his little green friend.
"Impressive..."

Cheriss the Champion was now one sword short but Kayden had faith in her lack of failing him so it was up to her to keep up that track record.

The boy deactivated his blade as the man raised his.
“As you wish, Pad!”
Kayden called across the hall.
“It is, after all, the monster’s job to chase the children!”
And eat them. No, Kayden, we don’t do that. Oh, we don’t? Since when? What do you mean, since when?

The voices continued, became like the liquid oozing on his skin, as Kayden gave chase.

Then the voices turned to screams, screams that screamed his name, blamed him for stealing their skin and ruining them in ways a Padawan should potentially not learn.

“Oh for kriffsake will you just SHUT UP!?

The monster said he would chase him, but Quin didn’t care. By the time he caught up, it would be too late. For all of them, for some, or maybe for none, he didn't know, but at least they wouldn't die by the hands of the Sith. He weaved his way through the factory, checking the signs for reminders of directions, wincing when he heard the Sith call for someone to shut up. But at least his voice sounded far— not very far, but far enough.

The humming of the generator room grew louder as the Padawan approached. He didn’t wait before bursting into it, looking around wildly for the control panel. Come on come on come on… And then he found it, sitting there in all its glory on the wall just across the room.

He sliced it open with his lightsaber, not bothering to try guessing the lock codes. The door swung open. His finger hovered over the numbers, decided that once again, they weren’t worth it, and moved right past them. Behind the panel was just what he was looking for— a slip of paper. A slip that had all the instructions he needed.

Only to be used in the most extreme of emergencies. Advisory: This damage is irreversible. That sounded about right. He could hear footsteps behind him, and he read quickly, eyes barely skimming over the numbers. 3… 0… 7… 4… 9… He frantically punched the numbers into the panel.

“Generators set to self-destruct. You have 10 minutes to evacuate.” If the generators were humming before, they were roaring like an engine now. The vibrations in the ground started small, but grew more intense as the seconds ticked by. But, like before in this very spot, he now only had one thought on his mind.

Lemon.

He would have to go back the way he came, and he would have to face the Sith to get to her. But whatever it would take, he was willing. Even if it was the last thing he would ever do. He stepped into the hall, and yelled.

“HEY, SITH! COME AND GET ME!”

To her pleasant surprise, the bolt actually landed. Lemonade screamed. What a beautiful sound. For a moment, she could understand why Kayden loved to tear his victims apart, slowly, one piece at a time. If not for all the blood that would surely stain her clothing, she might even give it a try someday.

Cheriss would laugh as the girl writhed. She would laugh until the lightning was reduced to a flicker at her fingertips, and soon she barely had the energy to lift her hand. She leaned back against the desk, her breathing as heavy as the boy’s had been when Kayden had squeezed the heart out of his chest. If only it had been literally. If only.

Now, she was utterly spent, a feeling of euphoria ringing in her head above all else.

“Oh,” she sighed, her head tilting back as she took a deep breath. “The computer was a small price to pay for that. Such a small price.” She would give anything to do that again… but it would have to wait.

Because just then, the building began to shake. The door was first. It swung back and forth, slowly, like a hanging sign in a gentle breeze. Then she felt it in the floor. It nearly took her off her already-unstable legs, and she had to use both hands to keep herself up. The ceiling seemed to move, and she realized that it was moving. Objects on the desks began to rattle, and finally she realized what the boy had done. The brat, the little— There was no time for that now.

I have to get out of here.

“Good bye, my dear! I hope that next time we meet, it’ll be just as fun as today.” Grabbing her lightsaber, Cheriss would run out the way she and Kayden came in, stumbling and trying to keep herself up, but she called it running nonetheless.

The floor was cold. That was odd because Leh’Min felt so hot.
Am I back? Back in that cave?
The cave began to quake.
The walls are coming down…the cave is collapsing…
It was just as well.

Leh’Min never knew as much about her Order as the next Padawan might.
She had not been a Jedi for long, had only just come off the boat, but already Lin Queonkri had proven to be Leh’Min’Ayd’s best friend.
Maybe…the only real one…

In the end, she had failed Lin, failed the Jedi, there was no denying it.
There was also no real point in getting up this time.
Failure meant falling, falling meant defeat, defeat meant death, so Leh’Min’Ayd would die.

She heard a voice. It was a woman's. Sounded cruel, as cold as the floor, the cave, and maybe that was the Sith Order right there. The cave when it breaks…

It all made sense when she first heard it, when he first told her.
“The Way of the Vornskr, Leh’Min, the way of dominating the battle by conquering your feelings—but not like how most Jedi might teach.”
The lesson had been in the dark, surrounded by light, but focused on what the light can do to the dark.
“You, I sense, will take to Juyo. Yes, channeling and controlling all that passion…and feeding it to your foes.”

Can’t…too weak…not strong enough…Master…

“It’s okay. You’re safe now. I’ve got you.”

“M-Master?”

Her eyes struggled to see until she saw her master's face.

“I’m here to rescue you, Lemon.”

No, not Master. Lin.

“L-Lin…”

Lem saw the light, saw the dark, was no longer sure if she could see, so she simply felt, and that was much the same.

Hmmm Cheriss is making a break for it. Stealing my treasure? Flay her too? No, would rather fu—

Turned out she wasn’t escaping Kayden so much as escaping a fallen factory on a forgotten world.

So, the power that Kayden felt had not been his but hers, all those screams the screams of a purple girl getting fried.

Good riddance. Kayden doesn’t need karking voices in his head.
What voices? Hm? Yes. Have we met? Sorry, not hungry.

He had been traversing the halls with a foreign object on his face that was trying its absolute best to keep him from going anywhere.

Truly, were the Sith not so attuned to agony, had they not been determined to feed off pain, let it fuel them, keep them alive, teach them how to eat and drink and sleep, then this one might just have eaten his own cheek.

That whole self-destruct pickle was not one that Kayden wanted to swallow so he decided to double-back, having been walking up his little hill instead of running because why run when you can walk?

The boy was a strapping lad, a fine Jedi, would look great on a meathook or fighting side by side with a fellow Sith, but he was never the objective here.

Ahh what’s this?
There was an office on the way, always another computer, though ten minutes would not give the man a complete transfer.
Oh well. Oh hello.
It was a partial transcript.

Gooooooooood! This Cerean will make a fine addition to my collection… I will make sure he helps with the project one way or the other and will make sure the Daggers receive their…payment. I look forward to dining with you in Gravenell City…yessssss…for the creation of the FIRST GALACTIC TRANDOSHAN EMPIRE!"

“Long live the Empire,” Kayden echoed to himself, spotting a medical mannequin whose torso was missing its legs.
He stepped back into the hall, didn’t see anyone, heard a boy yell something something Sith further down.
Hm, no, a girl now?
She was as loud as she was quiet, a kind of thorn in the Force, but pain was just one more reminder of being alive.
So Kayden ran instead of walked.

“It’s okay. You’re safe now. I’ve got you.”

“M-Master?”

“I’m here to rescue you, Lemon.”

“L-Lin…”

And so, the White Knight, He Who Fights Monsters, Most Heroic Jedi, crouched to scoop the poor Padawan into his loving arms.

Quin waited. The footsteps grew quieter. Was the Sith leaving? Maybe the man had some common sense after all. Now the road between him and Lemon was clear.

The Padawan went back the way he came, this time much faster than before. He wasn’t looking much where he was going when he suddenly crashed into something— someone, else.

“Holy kri—” It was the female Sith from before, but she looked completely different. Her clothing was all dusty, her hair was dishevelled, her hand even had a burn on it. She looked like she was running away from something, yet she still had a smile on her face. That was weird, but still. Dang, Lemon, you did good.

He didn’t wait for her reaction before hurriedly sending her flying into the wall with the Force and pushing past her. This place was going to blow if he didn’t hurry and get Lemon. Their pilot was already on the way— ready to pick them up at the nearest exit. We’re almost out of here!

But when he slammed the door open to the medical bay, there was no one there. Not Lemon, not the Sith man, and definitely not the woman.

“Lemon?” he called out, the rumbling of the building causing his voice to shake. Or so he thought. “LEMON?” No response. “LEMON!!! WHERE ARE YOU?”

Cheriss laughed and ran, stumbled and fell, got back up, kept going until she hit something in front of her.

“Oof! Kayden? Is that you?” She blinked, trying to clear the stars out of her eyes before she felt herself being jerked off her feet and into the wall. She was so exhausted that she could barely register the pain, neither the burn on her hand nor the ringing of her head as she slid down to the ground.

“How… rude.” She got to her feet again, steadied herself as much as she could given the shaking of the building, and kept on going, keeping a hand on the wall to guide her. Fortunately, she saw light up ahead, and a holosign that appeared to read “Exit”. She glanced back. Kayden could take care of himself— she was going to get out of here. If he survived, she would see him back at the lab, and if not, well, she wouldn’t mind having all of Sawin’s research to herself.

Time to fly. With that, she made her way out, stumbling in the direction of her ship.

Alarms blared, but all a father hears is the silence of his daughter.
The girl looked so pale for someone so purple.
Sleeps so gently.
“No more nightmares, child.”
The voice was no less gentle, but the voice was lonely.
A lonely, lonely voice.

The building quaked, became an earthquake.
Computer counted down the minutes until detonation.
All that voice heard was the sweet songs of a Padawan sleeping on a cold hard floor.

“You’re hurt!”
A lone finger grazed a cheek. It was cold, not like his own, his own was melting.
“Poor bird… Someone clipped your wings…”
He scooped the peacock into his arms.
“I will put new ones on you.”
He stood up, turned around, the edges of his long white coat trailing with him as the White Knight made for his exit.

Computer counted down the minutes until detonation.
“This way’s blocked, Pad,” Kayden sighed, looked down.
Such sleepy eyes.

The Togruta’s neck was in one arm, the backs of her knees in another, and while sometimes that equated to severed limbs right now it catered to carrying a Jedi Padawan.

“Hmm, not good, this way’s blocked too.”

KAYDEN. GIVE IT BACK, KAYDEN. YOU TOOK IT FROM ME. YOU HAD NO RIGHT. IT'S MINE. MY LEG. IT'S MINE.

He doubled back to the main corridor as something slipped from the Padawan’s pack.
That purple thermos had made one loud clang but Kayden wasn’t really thirsty.

WHAT ABOUT ME, KAYDEN.
I'M THIRSTY.
HUNGRY.
YOU LEFT ME IN THE BRIG.
IN SILENCE ON THE
SILENCE.
FOR FOUR WEEKS.
I WAS FORCED TO EAT MY FINGERS.
Now who's exaggerating?

There was a junction dead ahead.
Reaching it, the center wall showed an emergency ladder exit pointing to the left corridor.
Kayden decided to go left just as someone shouted.
“LEMON!!!"
“Lemon.”
KAYDEN.

The Sith set the Jedi down.
She looked comfortable on a yellow gurney but he couldn't say the same for the coagulated something on his face.

He turned around, hilt in right hand, but not a throbbing member just yet.
Unlike Cheriss, Kayden had bigger balls and no real intention of losing his lightsaber.

Free hand flexes fingers, electricity tickling the tips, crackles across the ceiling, turns off all the lights, swallows the hallway in darkness.

Come, kid.
Come get your little lemon.

Quin’s heart was pounding so hard that his vision swam. “LEMON! LEMON! LEMON!!!” He shouted until his voice was hoarse, looking in cabinets still attached to the wall, under the bed, in nearby rooms. She was nowhere.

I shouldn’t have left you. Quin’s eyes stung, but no tears could come out. This is my fault. The factory was about to come crashing down. There were only minutes, five minutes left before it happened. And Lemon was nowhere to be found, because of him and that horrible decision he’d made just to escape two Sith.

But she can’t be far. Despite the circumstances, there was still a voice inside him that brought him a sliver of hope. You can still find her, fix all this. Quin slowed his breathing, clutching his lightsaber as he looked at the door. He hadn’t looked past there yet. If there was even the slimmest chance that she was there… he would go. Even if it cost him his life, he would not abandon his friend.

Making his way out into the hall, he searched every room, calling her name, flipping things over with the Force and practically turning the place upside down. But then he saw a glint of white at the end of a dark junction. When he looked closer, he could make out the shape of Lemon on the ground, and someone standing in front of her. He didn’t need his eyes to tell him who it was.

“Let. Her. Go.” Quin ignited his lightsaber. “If you don’t want to die here, I suggest you leave. Turns out your friend is the one with the brains.”

He held his saber downwards at his side, waiting for the Sith to make his move. His left hand was open, ready to protect against any potential attacks through the Force as he carefully gauged his reaction. Come on Lemon… just hold on for a little longer.

A voice.
Yes, we have a voice.
Not so! How could you? I cut your tongue out.
Classy!
We think so.
We agree.
Who are we again?

"Kid," Kayden spoke, breaking the silence of the dark. "For me to have friends means I'd need friends like me, and I don't want friends like me. I only want, well, me."
We are Kayden.
“As for the youngling, well don't you worry about that, cap. I've got two of my best eyes on her. Any Sith shows up, I'll make 'em wish he were a Jedi.”

Why don't you make the boy scream, Kayden?
Like you screamed when that Yautkan scratched your cheek?

Or like how you screamed on Mataou, you mean?

Fair move. I forfeit this one. See you next round.

Noted.

-VWUM!-

“What about your friend, though?”
Red blade hums in the dark, points to the floor, might be a grave and if so it needs a name.
“Lemon, right?"
All that red light in one place casts more shadow on the monster’s face.
“Does she have brains?"
Sword slowly sways, a red pulse that points to a yellow gurney with a purple peacock on the cot, specifically at her lekku.
“Shall we find out?"

The Sith’s blade extended, went far too close to Lemon, and that was enough for Quin. The monster was going to pay for that.

“You’re letting her go NOW!” With that, he launched himself across the hallway, running at the man as he lifted his own saber to strike. The only thing he cared about at the moment was Lemon, and once again the rush of emotions came again. However, this time he managed to keep them under control. He was going to have to win quickly if they were going to get out of here alive, and he couldn’t afford blatant recklessness. On the other hand, he still had to be aggressive.

Reaching the man, he sliced down diagonally, aiming to cleave the Sith in half from his left shoulder to his nright hip. As the green light washed over the man’s face, he noticed that one half of it looked like he’d been burned or something. Then he remembered the cabinet and the yellow liquid, and a taunting smile found its way onto his face.

“Lemon has the brains and the looks. You have neither, and you’re not going to take them from her.”

Lightsabers light up.

“Now?”
Kayden beckoned, demanded, challenged.
Left hand gropes the darkness, caresses it, as the bright burning length of a scarlet arm points at the Jedi and taunts.
“O-Kay-den.”

KAYDEEEEEEEEEN.
WHERE ARE MY EYES, KAYDEN?
WHY IS MY DAUGHTER MISSING HER HEAD?

But Kayden wasn’t listening to them.

He heard only two voices now. Lonely.
Only two heartbeats now. Lonely!
No, three.
His. The kid’s. The other kid's.
No, four.
NO. FIVE.
NO. SIX.
NO. TWELVE.

KAYDEN.

Kayden's not listening!

Right hand tilts, dips a blade, crosses another blade.
Red bites green. The sparks start flying.
Not a moment too late despite what the alarms say.

Oh, is it Makashi!?
Who gives a kark?

The blades are locked.
A tad theatrical, perhaps, but in a hall of darkness the two dancers get to kiss.
An emerald tongue greets a ruby one, wraps around it, and the fire is exhilarating.

Two pillars of light collide, stuck in the dark, but the boy can see a face, and the man knows it’s not pretty.

We know.
WE KNOW.

“Incorrect, Skywalker,” Kayden corrected.
Steps forward, presses one blade against the other.
Swords crackle, crack like ruby and emerald.
-kzshh!-krackkk!-kzssh!-
As bright as a lion’s roar, as loud as bloody vomit.

“I have the brains.”
Closer.
“And the looks.”
Closer.
“They’re behind me.”
CLOSER.
They’re about eye to eye now, his eyes into his, gazing from the darkness, from the light, into the shadows caught in between.
The Jedi had little choice. The Force was pulling him in.
Right hand held the hilt.
Left hand held the kid.
“On a gurney.”

Their blades crashed, and Quin found himself involuntarily getting closer to the man before he realized that the Sith was pulling him in. Reeling him in like a fish on the line, but he wouldn’t take the bait any longer. When his lightsaber was only inches away from his face, the Padawan would aim a kick to sweep the Sith’s legs out from underneath him.

“They won’t be soon!” Quin growled, trying to shove the man back as hard as he could. As he did though, he found it incredibly hard to keep his own balance. The building shook hard just then, sending him staggering back a couple of steps before he finally caught himself.

There’s no time! We have to get out of here. Are you so blind? You’ve already lost!” He was practically shouting, trying to be heard over the groaning and rumbling of the building. His eyes flicked to Lemon, begging her to wake up, to get out while the Sith’s attention was on him.

He couldn’t believe that this man, if he dared to call himself one, was like this. After meeting Sola, after fighting alongside a few, he’d thought that maybe the Sith weren’t so bad after all, that there was a person behind the darkness that always seemed to surround them. But he was wrong. This man had no soul, had no mercy, had no love. Not even for himself, it seemed.

Lifting his lightsaber as another shudder ripped through the factory, Quin desperately tried to think of a way to get Lemon up that emergency ladder. But she couldn’t climb, and he couldn’t get past the Sith. It was either going to be him or them, then, if this kept up. Master Mirror… what would you do??

A leg loops around a leg.
This is getting intense.

The Sith is preoccupied, hand on hilt and hand on kid, but is the Sith even a Sith?
Not a black robe but a white coat whips like wind as a leg swoops a leg.

Kayden falls, more twirls as left hand unfurls to push the Force off the floor.
Instead of hitting it, Kayden flips, backward and before a gurney.

The timing was good, the timing was bad.
He struggles to stand as the planet goes mad.

Damn factory.
We agree.

“Time?” Kayden laughs, casting Force Listen.
“What does time mean to eternity, kid?”

The clock counts down.
Two minutes. Four minutes. Three minutes.
Something’s missing.

Kayden points his blade, dares the boy to get the girl.
“From my point of view the Red Team are losers!”
Said the Jedi in white, despite a red blade shifting like shifty eyes.
“Huttball 148? Raging Bull kisses Yojiro with his horns? Krazy Kel trips over the sandwich?”
Did the kid MISS IT!?
“Oh, wait…I forgot... Silly Kayden..."

Another rumble, another quake, but in this rumble isn’t it the Jedi who quake?

In their boots, Kay? The ones you make out of their skin?
Inferior boots. The Human ones. Shameful excuse of leather.

You’re sick, you know that?
HELLO, CHERISS.

“Red Team won!"

How does Cheriss kiss again?
Like this, Kayden.
And there’s your cackle.

It cracks between lips and crackles from left hand’s fingertips.
Lightning streams in streaks, the Force when it’s forked, bouncing up and down like spice addicts in a rave.

A whole storm of beautiful blue to compliment red like spice compliments a whore.
The man will do to the boy what the woman did to the girl.

...The girl...

Even a Sith has feelings.

Hm?
Kayden thought.
Then he felt it.
As his own kind of electric judgment unleashed toward the Jedi, the Sith felt it, and it was close.

Rage—

Whatever Huttball team this Kayden was blabbering on about, the only thing it did was that it convinced the Padawan that this Sith was completely, utterly insane. The man still refused to budge, not letting any of them get out.

“Do you have a DEATH WISH? What Malachor are you thinking?” As a cackle escaped the man’s lips and electricity suddenly cracked from his fingers, Quin was barely able to lift his lightsaber in time to block it. However, another shake of the building and Quin couldn’t keep himself steady. Some of the lightning landed on his arms, and his lightsaber flew out of his hands.

“NO!” He couldn’t stop himself as he fell, helped both by the lightning and the building. The pain upon hitting the floor was nothing compared to the electricity coursing through him, which was also nothing compared to the dread that beset him as he realized he had lost. His friend had lost. The Sith… while he probably wouldn’t get out of here alive if he kept this up, he’d won in a way. Lemon… I failed you.

He hadn’t planned to go down without a fight, but he could barely work up the energy to counter. He only felt the energy tearing through his muscle and bone, combined with the overwhelming sense of disappointment, fear, and pain as he shouted the only thing he could think of.

“Kark… you!!”
