Belsavis: Outer Orbit

The planet of Belsavis was an icy hell hole, only broken up by pockets of tropical paradise that resided within canyons heated by geothermal vents. A rather odd planet but in a galaxy as full of planets as the one they lived in, odd planets weren't exactly an uncommon thing. Darth Asminys watched the sparkling blue orb grow in size as they approached in the light freighter from his seat behind the pilot, a smuggler who had been conscripted from the holding cells of Eiattu. It seemed as if prisoners often chose servitude over continued jail time and he planned to make good use of that here on Belsavis. Two other Sith accompanied him in the cockpit of the freighter, a marauder with a penchant for for piloting in the co-pilot seat (@Darasuum ), and an acolyte whom Asminys had worked with once before on Bespin seated besides him (@Logan ).

Darth Asminys wore his usual clothing, black pants, boots, and a fur-lined black duraplast breastplate for the icy temperatures below. Paired lightsabers hung on each side of his belt, and a hooded cloak covered his form with the hood drawn up, simmering hateful eyes glowing within the shadowy folds. The freighter was currently latched onto an over large asteroid, they had dropped into the system on the tail of an asteroid shower that would be passing the planet by, their ride to the planet that would get them past the defense fleets sensors. In the cargo hold were crates of blaster rifles and a squad of soldiers from his newly trained military who had strapped themselves in with makeshift seating. The crates were of course strapped down as well, practically bolted down. It wouldn't do to lose half his soldiers on the insertion due to a loose crate crushing them during a maneuver.

"T-minus 1 minute to breakaway." The pilot broke the silence in the cabin as the planet loomed in through the viewport, a nervous temor in his voice. Darth Asminys could feel the fear radiating off the man, could sense it wasn't due to the maneuver he was about to perform, his confidence in his piloting skill was well enough. No it was fear of the men and woman who occupied the cabin with him. Three Sith were three more than the man ever wanted in the cockpit of his ship with him.

"Marauder, take the stick." Darth Asminys commanded the other Sith, relieving the smuggler of his duty to deliver them safely to the surface. It wouldn't do to have the man screw up the insertion because of a little fear over his cabin occupants. "Pilot, scan the surface for our entrance." He continued with authority. They had an approximate location of a few cracks in the ice that would allow them access to the Icebox prison, but they needed to be sure of their landing zone before they got there. The less time they spent in the air, the less time the Belsavin's had to figure out that they were a ship instead of a piece of asteroid debris.

Wiley's eyes were never not watching something. Garbed in a new set of robes he felt more powerful than he had ever before. His gloved hands moved over the controls of the ship in no particular rush. He was content with his current place both literal and figurative. The asteroid had been parked well on the large asteroid and secured to not get thrown off on a tangent.

While there was a hint of anxiety spiking out of the smuggler pilot, Wiley was excited as the count down got closer. Outwardly, he was reclined in the co-pilot seat and only moved to take over controls when ordered by the Sith Lord. "Aye, Lord."

The smuggler looked towards the Marauder, both afraid and hesitant to let Wiley have the control to pilot the smugglers's prized ship. But he didn't wait the smuggler to move. An open and outstretched palm flipped a few switches via the force on the far side of the pilot's dashboard without the man needing to reach across from him.

When it was time, Wiley would detach from the asteroid and release the clamps keeping them relatively stationary. Afterwards would come the engines, allowing the Marauder to pilot through any other debris and asteroids. The HWK light freighter had decent speed and defensive capabilities. It was no starfighter, but it still was fun to fly.

The atmosphere inside the cockpit of the ship was heavy. Aadya could tell that their pilot was fearful, though she as unsure if it was just fear of Asminys or simply all of the Sith that currently surrounded him.

Despite being a part of the Order for several years, that was one part of being a Sith that Aadya still wasn't used to: the fear in the eyes of others who looked at her, the desperate pleas behind the silence. She didn't think she ever would, to be honest. She was not like Asminys.

For the first time, Aadya was clad in the armor she had designed for Sith operations. The mask covering the lower half of her face hissed almost silently with each of her breaths, the filter inside of it doing its thing even when there was nothing dangerous clinging to the air.

As the ship detached from the asteroid and began its true descent, Aadya turned to look at Asminys, and she too felt the same touch of fear that the pilot did. She had seen the power the Darth was able to wield long before he held that title, and she could only guess as to what he was capable of now.

Her eyes turning back to the viewport, Aadya decided to speak, her voice slightly robotic due to the scrambler in her mask. Do you have any orders for when we land, my Lord?

Darth Asminys stared ahead through the viewport as the smuggler relinquished command of his vessel to the other Sith. He could feel the mans stung pride and shameful relief as he was relieved of responsibility. But underneath was a deep undercurrent of fear. It was irrelevant however, Asminys looked past the minds of those in the cabin and outwards to a small asteroid that sped nearby as the ship released its hold and began to glide. The meteor, for it would become one, that he held in his grasp was small, but felt densely of metal. His fist squeezed in his lap ever so slightly as he focused on the asteroid, drawing it along with the freighter as they began to descent, he was angered by the suddenness of Aadya's voice as she shook his grasp on the asteroid.

His fist clenched whitely in his lap as a flash of rage churned through is gut. A roar in his chest that demanded he take her life, killing the Sith piloting the craft for good measure before forcing the smuggler to land the ship. Once they were on the ground, the smugglers life was forfeit as well as the troops, and every wretched being that lurked in the caves below. His heart howled with murder before, with one final clench of his fist he dismissed the thought, instead regaining control over the asteroid and crushing it as if it were in his clenched fist. He looked over to Aadya after a lengthy pause.

"Your mask displeases me." Asminys' voice was low, a simmering remnant of his earlier rage still in his eyes as they met hers. They travelled down to the mask that covered half her face, distorted her voice to be something other than her own. "You fear to show yourself to the world." He stated as he turned to look back out the cabin where the mini meteorites he had caused sped past the ship, likely giving Wiley something to consider in his flying. It was always good to give challenges to those who followed your orders.

"We will forge ahead into the caves while the soldiers camouflage the ship and unload our cargo." He said as he began to estimate the trajectories of the micro meteorites. Perhaps a few of the small stones would find their way into the garrison outside the prison. The cave passage into, as well as the prison itself, would likely have a few beasts or men that needed to be put down. It was good to have something to look forward to.
