Muck generally travels light, keeping his gear he does carry in either a pack or his belt pouches. Muck wears brown cargo pants tucked into an old pair of double buckled combat boots, his belt has several small pouches for medical items, comm-links, spare energy cells, thievery tools etc. On his rear right side there is a medium size utility pouch mounted for larger gadgets and a holster sits on his left hip. For a shirt Muck wears a grey sweat wick material long sleeve shirt with a light blue and yellow vest over-top. Favoring to bring a pack only when necessary he always has a grey knit cap on and fits the bill of a spacer between trips as he intended.

    Muck was known for his self deprecating humor and self confidence that was hard to miss. Always taking a liking to his education he resented formal learning and took it upon himself to bury his mind in holo's and information he could get his hands on between his schooling and physical training. He would take his time to focus on his martial arts, marksmanship and command abilities knowing full well he was the only one who could keep himself alive and in charge in the situations he was instructed about in his classes. Seen as the one to make light of tough situations and always find a way under pressure to succeed and surpass expectations to his crew and peers time and time again. Sometimes quick to boil over Muck let his emotions get the best of him and he found himself asking for forgiveness rather than permission. Finding comfort in the company of women and a tasty drink Muck can let his troubles slip away between puffs of his cigarettes he feels a man with few vices is a man of few virtues and shouldn't be trusted.


  • Early Years (4-8)​

    Muck was born to two civil servants his mother a servant in the Grand Protectorates Palace and his father a pilot in the planetary defense fleet and a twin brother, the two of which born of different colors Xeis being of green skin and Muck being of blue skin a common occurrence in Rodian births. In their early years the boys were taken care of by their mother and enrolled in the palaces academy early on by their parents as a foresight to the boys potential as most parents they only wanted the best for their sons. But they weren't all too different from common born Rodians always worrying about the warring tribes and the power shifts in the world weather they would be safe next year or would the ruling clan be replaced and their lives turned on its head; these thoughts haunted all loyal to the clan in power.

    By the age of eight Muck and Xeis had been delegated responsibilities as pages and cleaning staff outside of their schooling. The boys gained intrigue, gossip, and politics that surrounded the lifestyle of the elite, giving the boys formative experience with negotiation and persuasion among their peers. Being known to convince the other kids in the palace to commit petty crimes for them or take the fall when they would get in trouble for their angst, showing great potential in the service of the palace that the staff quickly caught on to.

    Childhood (8-16)
    The boys schooling continued as scheduled and as students in the palace at the age of 10 everyone began the six year involvement of combat skills, marksmanship, combatives, leadership and administrative duties prospectively according to strengths of the individuals and secondary skills in the last few years based on desire to learn expressed by the pupils. Muck began learning his abilities as combative expert learning weapons handling, martial arts and leadership tactics on the battlefield and in the sky as a ship commander while his brother continued the latter. Xeis showed prowess as a politician being able to convince people in arguments and negotiations alike they had mock senate meetings and political moots to discover the true scope of their ability as smooth talkers.

    As the classes progressed the boys continued to develop side by side further enthralled by the slightly skewed governmental propaganda to form loyalty and forge bonds to the clan. Enticing the boys to further their educations and be of the best service to the planets ruling group that they could be, turned off by the scribe and page like duties bestowed upon him Muck began his training with weapons systems more heavily. Honing in on his ability with blasters and melee weapons along with familiarization with armor and its benefits Muck found himself feeling like he was finally accomplishing something in line with his goal to follow in his fathers footsteps and serve the planetary defense force in the fleet. Forging bonds with his classmates Muck and the few others all aspired to serve the fleet and were informed if they completed schooling the one with the top marks would be deemed the ships captain and the rest would be the crew further fueling Mucks desire to not only achieve but excel, he began putting in long hours with his craft to hone his ability and score higher marks.

    Early Adulthood (16-20)​

    Nearing completion of schooling at the age of sixteen Muck and Xeis had only their final assessments to figure assignment in their roles, Xeis showing interest in finances alongside of politics and completing his exams the assignment came in. Xeis would be assigned to the financial ministry making sure the finances of the clan were in order and monitoring deposits and withdraws to combat the rampant embezzlement and thievery. While Muck was handed his results, given down the role as operations chief of a corvette in the fleet falling in line behind a classmate who scored higher and was placed in command of the ship Muck was consoled and reminded his position was just as important.

    As the brothers settled into their new careers Xeis found himself in the middle of a large fraud investigation as one of the governors supposedly embezzled several million credits from the palace reserves. Muck on the other hand was fast at work learning his ship and duties as the crew was thrust immediately into security and planetary patrol duties, defending against foreign piracy and the warring clans plots alike. To Muck's dismay during his first year he found himself another corvette and a detachment of fighters tangled with some craft hell bound on attacking a nearby orbital refueling station for the planets naval forces, the outfit looked well organized and one could only assume after some fuel.

    As the battle ensued the rodian fighters, skilled and tenured pilots were picking off the enemy fighters with ease and the enemies main ship was the next target. A frigate armed to the teeth and fighting the pair of corvettes one on each side of him, with the enemy fighters dispatched the squadron focused in on the ship laying in strafing runs one after another until the rodian corvette on his left side took heavy damage and had to flee the fight in flames. Leaving just the fighter group and Muck's corvette in the fight, with fire fully concentrated on his ship the battle seemed to be decisively lost if reinforcements didn't show soon and Muck was doing all he could to hail help from nearby. With in minutes from the call for help another pair of corvettes accompanying a cruiser returning from a mission joined in the fight, a relief for the crew of Muck's ship as even the fighter support had been lost in the fighting prior. As the cruiser made quick work of the pirate frigate Muck's corvette retreated planet side for repairs and re-arming, having finally had a combat experiences the crew was filled with excitement and pride.

    That was until Muck returned home, where he found his brother consoling his mother who was a wreck and Muck was at a loss as to why. Rushing to her he could only ask what happened and it was met with a few words between sobs leaving him to piece together that his father was also in the battle, and that it was his fighter group that had been destroyed by the enemy attack. Immediately leaving the house Muck headed for the closest bar, finding a seat and ordering until he could hardly stand his biggest influence and motivation to succeed in life was gone and he couldn't help but blame him self in an irrational way.

    Later that same year Muck and several others were crowded around the scene of a bombing in the palace. He couldn't help but assume the worst as the building bombed had been the financial ministry where his brother had been working the last two years, and they had been close on figuring out the paper trail as to where the embezzled millions had gone Xeis had been talking about it just last week. Muck assumed if he knew someone else knew and who ever it was wasn't keen on the answer reaching the light of day but Muck's thoughts were beside him as the medical crew began bringing out bodies on stretchers covered with white sheets, filled with emotion he pushed past the barricade shouting about how his brother was in there.

    Getting to the row of bodies Muck began pulling the sheets back praying he wouldn't recognize any of them until he came to the third stretcher where he found his brother a face he could not mistake lying cold and lifeless, killed in the interest of another. This event added to the loss of his father made for a very hard year on him and his mother a widow now losing one of her sons with only Muck left he feared she would be inconsolable and instead of returning home he repeated the ritual for his father by drinking at the bar.

    Sour with life and bitter with his planet Muck felt his place was no longer here but among the stars permanently, thus driving him to join the Protectorates Hunting Guild. Where he would be free to explore the galaxy and still fulfill his heart bound duty to his planet and the Protectorate so Muck set forth into the galaxy hunting bounty for a short spell before enlisting with the ranks of a privater's ship who specialized in a less than glorious task that payed too much for him to pass up on. The outfit were primarily slavers, picking up contracts all throughout the outer rim and delivering with a hefty pay off; Muck didn't let it bother him the work was dirty but he wasn't naive enough to believe it didn't exist.

    His short spell with the group ended after Muck had been arrested on Belsavis mid exchange of slaves for pay when it was discovered the buyer was an undercover law officer on the planet. Hauled off in binders with a heavy sentence on his head Muck liquidated his assets for credits and offered the sum of which to a rodian privateer group he had contacts in to break him out, he refused to die in a cell on some planet he'd never heard of prior. Now a criminal in the eyes of the galaxy Muck is looking for his next en devour while scrapping by with the few funds remaining and the equipment he has on his back.

BGC MK.II Combat Armor


An ageing but still commonly encountered medium armor, the armor was developed by BGC to provide the market with an affordable alternative to more robust but expensive systems. It's draw lies in simple to use basic yet to date systems, with harsh environments common in the Outer Rim and urban settings alike kept in mind throughout the design process.

The armor consists of an abrasion and tear resistant armorweave body suit topped with flexible, but strong duraplast plates on the chest and back, shoulders, forearm, and lower body. It is capped with a helmet which seals the bodysuit around the neck. The bodysuit and helmet are fully sealed and insulated, which regulates the wearers body temperature in harsh environments and provides some protection against atmospheric contaminants, but it does not protect against extreme heat or cold for extended periods (or directed heat/cold weaponry), and is not pressurized or rated for vacuum exposure. The suit is water resistant, but full immersion is not recommended. The system lacks pockets for storage and extra gear would need to be sourced elsewhere.

The simple and durable base system and the roomy helmet makes the system easily modifiable for different physiologies or individual mission needs. This design simplicity, along with its affordability, means it is most commonly found in use among exploration services in the Outer Rim and Unknown Regions, and urban settings alike. It has also found a use in specialized military and paramilitary units on some backwater worlds, also favored by privateers and bounty hunters looking for a dedicated combat armor.

Function 1: Basic Combat HUD
  • The helmet incorporates a simple HUD capable of giving temperature and environmental readouts useful for determining the composition and breathability of an unfamiliar atmosphere, and identifies the presence of any dangerous toxins. It also sports a comlink, internal compass, and an integrated sun visor technology.​
Function 2: Onboard Relay Computer
  • The suit utilizes a simple onboard computer in a small chest mounted box; the computer has a small range of capabilities useful in the field for gathering, recording, and relaying useful information to the wearers nearby ship or colleagues. When hard wired to the helmet the computer records everything the user sees, hears, and says, along with the helmets environmental readings, and transmits the data to any designated receiver within 100km. It can then be relayed to the designated receiver with all other relevant data, if the unit is incapable of transmitting, all data is instead stored for later manual download.​
Function 3: Modular Plates
  • The armor is outfited with a modular plate rigging system, with hardpoints integrated into the bodysuit for the wearer to customize his or her options. The ability to switch out plates made by the company in varying degrees of resistance and resistances to various weapon systems (Blasters/Explosives/Blades) leaves the suit of much desire for mass purchase due to its design features.​

INTENT
This ship was thought up to introduce an affordable solution to characters looking to build a fleet or get their hands on a mid-level ship written to have the ability for great diversity and customization at an affordable price tag.

DESCRIPTION
The freighter has been in service for a decade and the aging model still stands up to demands of every day life as a hauling ship with its design staying the same offering upgraded amenities and a model offering a set of twin laser cannons for star fighter defense this ship design has stood the test of time thus far. In addition to having three configurable bays for droid crew storage to allow for accompaniment of astromechs and utility units alike. Boasting the ability to be entirely gutted and reformatted by even a novice mechanic the ship has been loved by many crews since its conceiving over a decade prior, with some ships even having their cargo holds converted into fighter bays for use by privateers. The ship is popular in the public and private sectors alike for its reliability and resilience.

The ships compact nature allows for the crew quarters to be situated directly below the bridge, the captain and cargo officer having their own quarters and the crew/passengers being split into a pair of triple bunked rooms. Followed by a small galley and crew area, the ship also has a latrine and set of showers for proper hygiene on longer voyages. The large bays offer versatility for cargo arrangement and desired placement along with the option for attaching mag locks to store fighters or other smaller craft, but those must be purchased separately or are available OEM.
