THEME
Other padawans are encouraged to ask to join

The planet of Takodana lush forested surface nearly filled the cockpit of the Skylark Horizon. Byron recently acquired the Glaive class blastboat but it lacked its cstomary blockade shield. Instead a cargo container was locked into place.

There should have been room onboard for everybody to join him if they lacked a ship of their own. Byron knew this wasn't exactly approved by any Jedi Master and some padawans prefered to stick inside the guidelines until they were allowed to go on a mission. Word had traveled that someone was tradining in artifacts and bringing them through this area of space. With Takodana being a good pit stop in or out, he had thought it best to come and check it out in person.

Byron was wearing his regular clothes though they were on the cleaner side since his new ship had less maintenance and messes to clean up on a regular basis compared to his previous ship. From padawan's ship he could see some other vessels from other travelers parked around the area. That meant there were going to be plenty of people too despite this being such a rimward planet. "You should probably stay on the ship." He encouraged BG-L0 who made a reluctant whirring noise and turned on its ball before rolling back up into the ship.

Kegari nodded and hesitated about this secret mission, ambition had gotten the best of her and she wound up on this ship. Not that the Jedi Masters would approve of this, but she trusted Byron. Especially since he is an experienced Jedi, not a Knight or Master but have been practicing far longer than she had.

“Are you sure about this”? Kegari asked as she walked off the ship and onto the planet of Takodana. It was a beautiful planet she had to admit Even if this wasn’t part of the original plan. She was still quite scared, she didn’t want to get in trouble yet the young aspiring Jedi wanted an adventure. Kegari wasn’t the one to just sit around and wait for orders. She’s always the one take initiative even if it meant taking a bit of a risk.

Excited and nervous Kegari was within the crew of other Jedi Padawans and others like herself. She thought of this secret mission as an opportunity to gain some experience, even before she officially became a Jedi herself. Eager to prove herself worthy she was ready for whatever this mission brings.

Isen dressed for the occassion. Once the Horizon was headed toward its destination, Isen shed the traditional Jedi robe and outer tunic. He went only with the sleeveless undertunic, his knee high leather boots, and heavy leather pants. He wanted to take this opportunity to feel like his native people felt, to be as natural with the environment as possible- a luxury the Jedha climate did not afford. His minimalist approach magnified the attention to his thick dreadlocks and the pair of lightsaber hilts that were attached to each hip. For a boy of just fifteen years, he mostly looked the part of a man already. He was devoping the sturdy, sinewy frame that Kiffar were known for. His shoulders were wide, his arms strong and toned, and he already neared six feet. He certainly looked the part.

Inside, however, the boy was a ball of emotions. He was nervous about leaving to do Jedi business as an Initiate without any official approval. He had recently rushed into action earlier in a an abandoned mine on Jedha, and luckily things turned out well. He was lightly chastised for acting without alerting the Order, but ultimately even the Masters had to congratulate on him on how he handled himself- rashness aside. The nervousness was overshadowed by his excitedness to go to a planet like Takodana. The harsh, cold climate of Jedha did not set well with his Kiffar genetics. For Isen Ramm, who was incredibly sheltered for lack of a proper Master to apprentice him and accompany him abroad, this was an opportunity to see more of the galaxy. To do so on a lush, forested planet much like his warm home worlds of Kiffu and Kiffex was a chance he couldn't pass up. Byron had a bit of a reptuation. He had not yet been removed from the Order, so surely Isen had a few more strikes to give.

The young Initiate reverted to his typical defense mechanism when uncomortable. He stared straight ahead, chin up, and didn't offer much in the way of conversation. The best way to not look stupid is not to say something stupid. And the best way to not say something stupid is not say anything at all. When the ship landed, he stepped outside, saw the lushness of the planet, and immediately felt more at home than any of the years he had spent on Jedha. There was a pull to the warm, to the forests, and the lakes. He was alive, and he could sense the life on the planet. He looked out over the lake to the forested hills beyond and took a slow, deep breath. He followed that with a rarity for Isen. He smiled.

Thalia felt completely out of place, and then again, she felt right in place among the group of padawans. They were all in a similar situation as Byron, their training had not progressed as they liked, or they seemed to be pushed to the side as the others seemed to take a closer interest to others, or even the events of the Sith. Having not been on Byron's new ship, Thalia spent a lot of time looking around, but it was mostly judging the wiring of the ships components, the foundations of ship engineering surfacing from a time she wished she could push aside and ignore. However, she had questions, finding mainly his droid to express dismay to how something was pieced together.

She wasn't sure if the droid appreciated the extra help or it was just too sassy for Thalia to handle as she focused working on a light structure in the hall that was also connected to a port which made absolutely no sense to the Ranger. At some point the droid did disappear, probably to mother Bryon about his ship guests.

When they landed, Thalia was quick to follow off the ship, eager to see the forested world of Takodana for the first time. From mines to desert, to city, this was a nice change of pace for the Ranger as she found the climate rather comfortable. "I think I like this place." she said and then paused, hoping she did not jinx their journey.

Byron didn't immediatly respond when Kegari questioned his confidence. But that was because he wasn't entirely sure. "If I was sure, I would have probably brought it to the Council or a Master at least." There was not a lot of evidence pointing towards what the man was looking for and he knew it would be asking a lot to invest resources into a wild starbird chase. So instead he convinced some people to join him and at least do some reconissance.

"Let's just try to be on the down low. Wouldn't want to startle any leads or have something to apologize for later." He glanced at Isen as he said that. There was also Kegari who was still even newer to the Jedi Order than Byron. The man wasn't sure how he felt about that yet.

Before moving any further Byron stopped, looked up at the cloud dotted blue sky and took a deep breath of the fresh air. It was different than Ajan Kloss but it still felt nice to be out on a beautiful day. If he had been told to describe approaching a cantina on an outer rim world he probably would have described a dusty and dry place like Tatooine. "Me too." He smiled at Thalia and headed off towards the main drinking establishment that projected muffled music even at this distance. The occasional thrum of various starship engines nearby on the walk over let it be known that traffic was common.

"I believe there's trade of jedi artifacts going on or at least force related. I hope they're not Sith." He heard that objects embued with the dark side could corrupt even in close proximity depending on it's intensity. He continued to remind the others just in case they forgot. "It's possible they have some kind of power based off of what I've heard. We might not be the only ones looking into these rumors so be careful. I think if we're going in we should come up with a cover. You've done this kind of stuff before as a Ranger right?" He turned to look at Thalia hoping she could offer some advice on how to best gather information.

Kegari senses that the others are just as eager as she is to discover whatever lies on this planet of Takodana. She heeded Byron’s advice to keep things on the down low. She wasn’t about to get thrown out of the order before getting in.

Kegari nodded in agreement as Byron says to keep a low profile. Kegari thought that since her Force sensitive abilities were not very strong, due to being un-trained that it would be best for her to go first. But not before they all came up with some kind of cover.“Perhaps I should go first, since I’m not trained in the Force that well”. Kegari suggested although that may not have been a very good suggestion perhaps for the same reasons. If she were to screw up this would not only affect her but the other Padawans as well.

“Or whoever wants to go first, its fine with me”. Kegari added leaving it up to them to decide. With the uncertainty of the mission making her slightly nervous especially after hearing Byron saying that if he was for certain he would have most likely passed the word on to the Council or at least a Master, but with them in dark about this made this mission all the more exhilarating and nerve-racking at once.

Isen listened to the rest of the crew discuss the mission. He hadn't been briefed on much, and honestly, didn't need to be to join. Something about Force artifacts, dealers, and Takodana. It instantly sounded better than watching hologram recordings of Jedi Masters of days past lecture about "oneness with the Force" or mindfulness. So many lessons on the same thing. Isen felt like this was not only an opportunity to get out and see the galaxy and to get warm, but also a chance to get real world experience and knowledge. He was prepared to observe the others to learn, even if the others in the Order were ranked no higher than he was.

Byron and Kegari exchanged barbs about the integrity of the intel. Isen simply watched, giving no indication that he shared concern or was void of it. Isen's brow lifted, however, as Byron insinuated that Isen might be the one to escalate things, cause things to go south, or otherwise startle any contacts. As a sign of good faith, Isen detached his lightsabers off of his hip and stuffed them into his tall boots out of sight.

The fact that the artifacts may be Sith was an interesting twist and could certainly complicate things. He wasn't sure how to handle such a find, and he was curious as to how the others might decide to continue at that point. He turned to Thalia when Byron asked her opinion about how to proceed, but then back to Kegari when she was the one that offered to take the lead. Content to sit back and let this play out, Isen stayed silent. He'd let the old hats come up with the plans. He would focus on execution.

Byron reminded them of their objective and she in fact did know a thing or two about a possible lead. However, the downside to leads were they usually resulted in nothing of significance or a dead end. She hoped this wasn't the case but she thought it was an odd place to look for Jedi artifacts. Byron did put her on the spot about her own experiences being undercover and she gave him a coy grin, though it disappeared when the inexperience began to shine through one of the members of the group.

"Jedi or Sith, we're looking for something sensitive in the Force and you're overthinking this. Act causual." she shrugged and sighed; the Ranger patted Byron on the chest and started her way to the pub, making her way inside first, more so a beeline to the counter to order a pint for herself as she got a feel for the place. She paid no mind to the other padawans, they were were here to get their Jedi artifact or an idea where to find it and then be on their way. She figured this was a learning experience for them and a part of her wanted to see how it would play out. Getting her pint, she turned around, facing the rest of the establishment. The music was upbeat and catchy and it was not difficult for her sense the ebb and flow of the Force.

"Thalia's right. And use informal names. No titles. He added to the Ranger's point of simplicity. Sometimes just acting like they belonged was the key to social engineering their way towards their goal.

"It's not like we have to all hang back while one of us checks out a lead. Preferably stay within sight of at least one another but if you see something then act if you feel it's worth following." They needed to get in with the crowd and spread out. They could be a part of a crew and not need to sit at the same table when they got into a cantina.

Byron saw the Isen put his lightsaber away and gave an appreciative nod. "If you need something to defend yourself..." He pulled the handle of his own fusioncutter. That way he wouldn't be without protection if he wanted to keep up his guise. "Makes sense if your a member of my crew." He said with a smile, encouraging him to take the tool. He had a spare anyways.

story-for-star-wars-galaxys-edge-batuu-black-spire-outpost.jpg

It wasn't long before they were inside the main building and Byron naturally made his way to [the bar at the front of the group. There was an array of sounds and smells getting there. Some people had small setups of trinkets and things they were trying to sell even at the door. A few well armored types were around, including some people with even first order storm trooper armor. But that didn't mean much out here necessarily. They could just be some people that found some and are bounty hunters. They had some abnormal markings on them that were definitly not what would be considered standard storm trooper markings if Byron had to take a guess. But there were plenty of hardy people in the corners of the bar. There was a trading space just outside that would also be a good place to probably look for clues. Byron looked over his shoulder to both look at the possible leads and also to see what the others were doing.

Isen Ramm liked this plan very much. All he had to do was mind his own business, get alone somewhere, and watch his team's back. He had no idea what a lead would look like to check out, so he would just stick to the basics.

Isen took his cue...and the fusioncutter from Byron. He jacked the blade open, bounced it in his hands a few times to get accustomed to the weight and balance. He quickly was able to flip it, twirl it, and quickly and adeptly hold it into different attack-ready positions in his hands. While the young Jedi initiate was socially awkward and shy, his coordination and physical proficiency came naturally. He gave it a whirl both with the generator powered on and off. Easy-peasy. He nodded to Byron as he attached it to his belt where one of his lightsabers would have been. "Thanks."

He ambled in behind the others and found a table against a wall that was getting bussed by a female Volpai. He waited until it was cleared and wiped before taking his seat in the small booth. The same Volpai came back and asked what he wanted to order, because he wasn't "about to take a seat in her section without paying for it." Isen paid in advance with some credits his father snuck to him from time to time during visits to order whatever local caf they had. A few moments later, the waitress was back with his drink- piping hot. A small uptick on one side of his lips gave the faintest of grins as he sat back easily with a hot drink in his hand and a nice view of the large, open room and the bar.

This setting was unusual to Kegari, she’s never been inside a bar or a cantina ever in her life. So this was an experience. She followed the others into the cantina and took a seat at the bar, with judging eyes upon me. Oh Kriff... she thought to herself as she realized that she wasn’t of age. She sighed and reminded herself to keep a low profile.

At only nineteen and fifteen years of age, Kegari and Isen were definitely the babies of the group. She had hoped that no one in the bar would try and talk to her as she didn’t want to make it known that she wasn’t even allowed to be in here.

One day she would officially be able to go to a bar or cantina, today wasn’t that day.“Don’t make a fool of yourself”. Kegari whispered to herself as the bartender looked at her in an odd way. “What can I get you”? The bartender asked her, She looked up and slightly smiled back at her. “Just water”. She replied hoping she didn’t attract any more judge-mental eyes. “Very well”. The bartender went and gave her a glass of water and without a flinch. Perhaps it worked. Kegari felt a tad bit relived that no one asked why she didn’t want a real drink.

She looked to the others and gave them a nod without making too much eye contact, again to keep a low profile.

Thalia received her drink promptly and immediately picked up the glass and took a sip, welcoming the burn of the liquor against her lips. She closed her eyes, savoring the taste before turning around from the bar counter to face back out to the rest of the cantina. With another sip, she began to collect her thoughts and her senses; they had been entire too off recently and she had been doing her best to suppress her feelings until she had time to sort things out for herself, but it seemed easier said than done. She watched as the rest of the group came in a settled; she noted how those around them would in their own form of instinct, sense they are entirely too green for this type of place.

She pushed herself up from the counter and headed over to Byron, squeezing between other patrons until she was comfortable. "Do you see them here? Or are we having to guess who has what we need?" she asked him softly, glancing up before her attention went back out to the rest of the bar. She was uncertain of what they were looking for or who exactly they needed to seek; surely they could use the Force to find what ever it was, light or dark, their senses would catch it, probably better than her own. "You guys probably can do this sense thing better than I."

Kegari sat at the bar and observed the patrons that were not giving a care in the Galaxy. She sensed that none of them seemed to notice or even care that her and Isen were underage or that they were even here. She looked to both Thalia and Byron and had hoped that Thalia has the lead and they would get moving, but she had to be careful and calculated. As eager as she is, she needed to remember that one screw up could cost her and the others.

She looked down to her glass of water and saw a ripple effect in the water. Well that’s strange... Kegari thought to herself as she looked down at the glass and stared to see if she could catch it again. However, the effect never came back.

She sighed and tried to talk to the others through the Force and hoped that her lack of training didn’t fail her or them. “Hey guys.. I don’t know how this happened but I just noticed a ripple effect in the water.. well in my glass”. Kegari explained to the others what she had seen in her water glass. She didn’t know if they picked up on the message, she only had to trust the Force.

Kegari didn’t want to make it obvious that she’s a Force user especially to the other patrons that were mindlessly relaxing and enjoying a drink or two. If so, there goes her and the others cover. They would find out that they were Force users, and would suspect something was up.

Byron knew they would get some stares. Anybody that entered here would get noticed by at least someone. What he was wondering was how the other patrons would react. So far nothing seemed to stand out other than Outer Rim suspicion. Thalia joined him at the bar and his attention was taken away from scanning the crowd as he looked at her face. There was a tenseness there that Byron hadn't seen before, or maybe it had been there and was only seeing it now.

Thalia's question kept him from asking his own. Instead he glanced around and shrugged. "Well you've dealt with....dealers and smugglers before right? Maybe this is naive but I think they'll have the same tendencies, maybe even a bit more paranoid then the average traveler." The group of plastoid-clad bounty hunters wearing the first order armor he had seen earlier walked behind the two at the bar, giving scrutinizing glance as they passed from behind their visors but moved on all the same.

Once they were out of ear shot again he looked at Thalia again. "Remind me to tell you about something I learned last week, might come in handy if it works." Byron had heard about jedi combining their focus and in doing so being capable of feats that they wouldn't be ablee to accomplish alone. But that was just something the starship engineer had heard about. It wasn't practical to try it for the first time here, with so many eyes on them.

Byron made sure to keep an eye on Kegari and Isen from across the bar just in case they made a signal. The youngg pantoran's voice suddenly came into his head and made the man's brow furrow and his body tense. He had not been expecting that. "Sure it's not just a herglic walking near the table?" He thought about a holo-drama involving a large reptile chasing a vehicle through an amusement park where that foreshadowed the arrival of something dangerous. "Please don't let this turn into a chase...again." He said as a prayer, not realizing he was saying it still telepathically.

"Psst." He said to Thalia. "Maybe we should check out the other ships that are parked around here." He waited for her opinion on the matter. It would mean they would be separating from the two other Jedi in training.

Isen found himself sitting back in his seat and getting lost in the atmosphere. Pretty waitresses in clothing meant to get tips and exotic sentients kept him alert and wide-eyed, if not on the wrong things. For the first time ever, he was unsheltered from the cold, boring nothingness of Jedha. He felt strangely...alive...for the first time in a long time. The young Jedi initiate found himself paying more attention to the surroundings than the job at hand. He felt a pull of the Force, Kegari trying to communicate, but Isen's failure to exert himself in his studies haunted him here. All he got from the message was frustration in trying to make anything out of the jumbled communication in his head. He did a quick look at her and the two at the bar. Nothing seemed to be too out of the ordinary, so he took another sip.

Isen sat back easy again and cocked a crooked little grin on his face. He was here for the experience, not to take a leading role. He would enjoy the moment, keep an eye on his mates, and provide whatever aid they needed. He would debrief on the way back and see what there was to learn. But for now, he was just happy to not make any rookie mistakes by keeping his mouth shut and a hot drink in his hand.

Kegari sighed and looked around to the others at the bar. She sensed something was off especially since she didn’t feel as though she was welcome at least not anymore she didn’t know what else to do. She looked over to Isen then back to the others.

"Maybe we should check out the other ships that are parked around here." Kegari overheard Byron making plans with Thalia without notifying her or Isen of their plan. Something also told her that she would most likely leave without her kyber crystal and in big trouble.
“Ships sounds nice, but I came to get a kyber crystal”. Kegari communicated with them through the Force. She hoped that she could get through to them.

Kegari didn’t intend to eavesdrop on their conversation but it was enough to cause a disturbance. Not even realizing that Thalia could also be angry with her listening in on her and Byron’s conversation. Whatever. Kegari thought to herself as she picked up her glass of water and tossed it out and gave the glass back to the bartender.

This isn’t the first time she would be left to fend for herself. Perhaps this wouldn’t be the last time either. She wasn’t concerned for herself, but more for Isen as he is the youngest of the group. Or at least what’s left of it. However, she sensed that Isen was not concerned with following the others but more concerned with making a mistake. He didn’t want to be a leader, understandably so as he is a Padawan after all and herself not even a Padawan yet. There was just too much at stake to play babysitter.

Again the telepathic voice of the young pantoran spoke in his mind. Byron's head turned to look at Kegai with a glance but didn't answer her "Yes, you can look in here for them." He replied in kind and headed out of the building. Kegari must have been close to eavesdrop on him and Thalia which told Byron that all of them being close together without actually being at a table would look suspicious as well.

If Byron was a smuggler moving Kyber crystals then he would have a ship used to transport that commodity. Maybe it was his background with ships and venturing to a few starports and unruly types. Whatever the case, in Byron's line of thinking he was going to see if any of the ships (or their crew) stood out. Maybe Kegari just assumed he had met actually getting a ship. Young people tended to jump to conclusions and he didn't need to use the force to know that she was feeling uncertain, like a kid on her first time in the school cafeteria.

Some people watched him as he left and headed towards the forest down a walked path. There were old pieces of past structures, the ruins being overtaken again by some of the flora. Byron walked into the shrubs a bit and looked around to see if anybody was watching him try to hide but there were none. He would begin moving around some of the clearings that housed a shuttle. Each of the ships at least had some form of armament. As he watched one ship opened up, a rodian and a twi'lek walked down the ramp towards a nearby escort freighter which was still cycling down its engines. Behind the rodian and twi'lek there were a series of containers being dragged on a repulsor sled.

Something was off about the transaction. From this distance Byron couldn't hear them but he didn't sense any hostility or danger. But something at the back of his mind motivated him to get a little closer and watch. There was something he wasn't realizing just yet. Each of them seemed to have their own personal unique appearance and didn't display any logos or uniform though they all had at least a blaster pistol on their hip and likely blast vests underneath their clothes. Some of the wequays seemed to have decided to wear the vest more overtly and not be descreet. This was the outer rim after all.

Pulling out his commlink he sent a message to the others. Every word was a whisper. Hopefully they weren't caught up in something since he had left or attracted too much attention to themselves. "I think I may have something. I think there might be an exchange going down now. I'm near a landing zone to the north west in the trees. Don't alert them to your presence."

Kegari sat at the bar and didn’t realize that Byron had left. She was still admiring the sights of the bar and taking in the music. Until her commlink sounded. That was the cue, perhaps they found something. It was Byron.

"I think I may have something. I think there might be an exchange going down now. I'm near a landing zone to the north west in the trees. Don't alert them to your presence." Kegari heard his voice barely a whisper through the commlink. She was still very new to this and she didn’t want to get caught. “Copy”. Kegari whispered as she replies through the commlink.
She didn’t inform Isen or Thalia that she was leaving, hoping they had gotten the message through the commlink as well.

Kegari made her way through the backend of the bar and tried her best to sneak out of the place, all those years back on Kashyyyk taught her how to sneak her way out of places. Especially in such a jungle like that.

She was outside the bar and made her way through the forest. Her unfamiliarity with the planet was the last of her worries as she just wanted to get the mission done and done successfully.

She finally made her way to the landing zone where Rodians and Twi’leki alike occupied it, while she didn’t sense any danger from them she wasn’t about to let her guard down. Okay Kegari, just get to the ship where Byron is located... no scratch that. Don’t let the occupants know we are here. Kegari thought to herself as she looked across the landing bay hiding herself behind the trees that surrounded it.

Kegari pulled her commlink to her mouth and began to message the others. She whispered through the device.
“I’m just across the landing bay, I’m at a safe distance so they don’t know I am here”. Kegari gave the others the heads up and stayed within the trees not allowing herself to be seen.

Isen found himself people watching, learning, taking in the experience. His commlink, barely audible started to spit out words. He put it to his ear to get the last bit, "I'm near a landing zone to the north west in the trees. Don't alert them to your presence." Isen had no way of knowing what was before that. He didn't get it to his ear in time. He looked up and saw that Byron was, in fact, no longer at the bar. He did catch Kegari trying to sneak her way to the back.

Sneaking wasn't Isen's style. Besides, he had a fusioncutter hanging from his hip. He looked the part to be heading toward the landing bays. And, he was still just a kid. What kind of heads would some teenage apprentice mechanic turn anyway? He made sure his drink was paid for, stood up easy, and started marching his way to the back of the establishment. He stepped outside, and in the back, there were several seedy types, doing...whatever seedy types do behind cantinas and bars. Isen didn't really know. A few gave him a curious look, but Isen stared right back at them with his cold eyes, and they quickly went back to their own conversations. He scanned the land behind the cantina and saw the forest of trees that Byron described.

The last thing Isen wanted to do was screw something up. He paused and stood back near the rear of the cantina, his hand on a railing while he watched the trees. He spotted Kegari maneuvering her way through the forest until he lost sight of her. She seemed to go undetected, so that path seemed as good as any. Isen Ramm weaved his way through the maze of the trees until he spotted the other young Jedi. Isen quietly slid into cover behind a treen close to Kegari. He didn't make eye contact with her, but kept his eyes on the platform in front of them.

Byron crept slightly closer in an effort to hear. He heard Kegari reply and knew that chances were likely Isen wasn't too far behind. If he stayed in the Cantina, as long as he didn't instigate any trouble, he could keep his eyes on anything else that was still suspicious in case there were any contacts of the suspects Byron was watching. Closing his eyes he took a deep breath and centered himself blocking out the unimportant noise of the other ship engines in the distance of belonging to other travelers. The padawan's mind reach out to feel the moods off the gathered group as they dealt in some sort of exchange.

It was strange, there was something that felt like a week magnet on his body made him teeter forward for a moment as he strained to see and feel everything more clearly. There was something inside the crate that was giving a feeling that called to Byron in a way. But he nearly tipped forward into the dirt by going off balance as he heard Kegari's voice in the quite comlink. Looking around he couldn't see her right away but then though he caught a glimpse of blue skin. At least she was doing a decent job of remaining hidden. Still there wasn't any sign of Isen though after a moment he could feel both their presences in that direction. Good

He raised the commlink to his mouth thinking of the next best direction and course of action to take. But he stopped for a moment as he remembered where he had felt that vibe before. The man's free hand raised to touch where the kyber crystal necklace around his neck lay under his shirt. Looking back up his expression turned a bit more serious and started looking specifically what kinds of strengths and weaknesses of transfering the cargo and having more discussions. "They've got kyber crystals. In at least one off those crates. I don't know how much but it felt strong. Do you guys have the ability to take these guys down without hurting them?" He really wanted to engage but they needed a plan. The two groups seemed to be nearing the end of their deal but the talk of business wasn't ending. The rodian and the twi'lek walked with two of the weequay's around the edge of their ship at a calm pace. There were two that headed back up into the escort freighter though Byron doubted they were planning on taking off anytime soon. The remaining four crew members looked to be particularly happy since they headed past Byron and towards the direction of the cantina. They spoke in a language he didn't understand though it sounded like an escalating bet on drinking. Byron looked back towards the VCX-820 and then back over to the scout freighter. He was cooking up an idea.
