The Jedi Fleets.

The Jedi Fleet is a new organisation, recently formalised from the loose band of jedi vessles requisitioned into a militarised formation, utilising decommissioned republic vessels. These vessels are mostly old ships from the Alsakan war, using basic shielding technology, but mainly thick armour as protection. The Jedi have managed to refurbish them for active duty, these small fleets defending the planets that Jedi temples reside upon. The Expeditionary fleet can be used for rapid, organised deployment. This will give the Jedi a far quicker response time to threat and for insertion into battle alongside their republic brethren, whom they will no longer have to rely upon for transport.
In total, there are five fleets, known as Coruscant fleet, Tython Fleet, Ossus Fleet, Alderaan fleet and the expeditionary fleet. Each defence fleet consists of 40 capital vessels, of battlecruiser designation, and 80 escort vessels, of frigate and destroyer classification, along with 40 fighter wings. The Expeditionary fleet has a different formation to fit its more fluid function. It consists of 30 capital vessels, 30 frigates and 30 Destroyers, along with 10 carriers, 80 fighter wings and 20 lander compliments.
The Jewel of the fleet is the Ares, commanded by the master of the fleet, Hector. A refurbished Uriel class from the Alsakan war, this vessel is a veteran, a survivor of many battles, and a worthy ship to lead the fleets in space. It is most commonly found on active duty with the expeditionary fleet, but is also sometimes found leading defence fleets in training manoeuvres.
