Intent
Zanhra is an aggressive fighter, and with the loss of her previous rocket launcher she'd be seeking to build a new, better one. The intent of this weapon is to give her, as a character, a defining weapon designed solely to eliminate as many people as possible and cause wanton destruction.

From an OOC perspective, this weapon is designed to give people a hard time when used in PvP. It's speed is measured at 100 m/s, considerably less than real rocket launchers with the RPG-7's initial launch speed, before the rocket motor fires, being faster at 115 m/s. Though the torpedo itself is still nearly twice as fast as a blaster bolt. At danger closer range, it's designed to be deadly to even force users, but in a more realistic sense I want to bring people closer together, literally. As this will force long range players to move in lest they be easily sighted by difficult to avoid torpedos.

Description

The Hullu, madness, everything a former Warlord would need to create mass chaos. After the loss of her last rocket launcher, Zanhra decided to cobble together something new, something better. Utilizing a targeting system from a starship torpedo launcher, literally ripping one off at the nearby spaceport, the Hullu is capable of locking on to any moving object and firing off all four of its aggressive proton torpedos after it. Even a rock, through into the air, can be targeted by this weapon. It's versatile system, however, is both a boon and a curse as it is easy to throw off the system through simple smoke screens.

All four of its aggressive seeking torpedos are fired at once, but the launcher is easily reloaded due to it's break action feature. The torpedos, small in size, seek out targets with extreme prejudice, able to follow even complex maneuvers to dodge them. Once a target lock has been established it can not relock on a target and if it completely loses sight of its original target the torpedos will slam into the nearest wall or object the target ducked behind. It cannot fire without a target lock.

This is the first non-generic tech I've made this timeline, lagging behind the rest of y'all and need to catch up.

How easy is it to reload/fire more than one shot? Does it have like a heavy bolt action or something?

The base weapon is 16lbs, but the rockets themselves would be the same weight, and the torpedos would need to be in canisters to be locked into place in the rocket. So you're looking at unlocking it, breaking the weapon, emptying it of spent canisters, reloading, closing the weapon, then finally relocking. At least 8 seconds for someone skilled in using it, longer if they have to figure it out on the fly.

For PvP, I.E. a full round action would be needed to reload the weapon.

Damn. Thank you though. I was hoping to use an interesting style of grenade launcher like this for my newest OC. She's almost built, but her grenade launcher is the only thing holding her up.

Could always make a new writeup and submit it after the time skip.

I plan to get this character implanted before the time-skip though. It's important for what I have planned for her.

It's all good. I found something that'll work pretty well. Thanks for the advice too.
