Adenn Brushed past Roland, unconcerned with the effect on him. He wanted this thing destroyed. He came to where Maxims stood and looked at the jedi

"I have never felt more certain about anything in my life....I have no hesitation, abomination."
Adenn Nodded at that,
"This thing is evil.. its like its alive.. We have to destroy it"
The seemed to agree and activated his Vibroblade, Adenn drew Grimscar, his Beskad, and awaited instruction,. Though he had already figured out what the next step would be.
"We stab at the same time - we shatter it. With it's physical vessel broken it should find it infinitely harder to manipulate the waking world."
At the Jetii's say so he plunged the Cortosis and Beskar Alloy blade into the mask as well. He rose the blade well above his head and qith as much stregnth as could be mustered plunged it down onto the thing.

The shady being that Roland had caught sight of earlier moved separately and deliberately to be unseen by the eyes that had yet to see him. Maxims outright ignored the Ranger's question and brought his vibrosword to bear though Oren approached and answered for him. The Mandalorian that Roland had shoved seemed to ignore the action and brandished his own blade. Both of them seemed intent on trying to cleave into the mask. Its presence and the odd feeling along with everything else was making Roland think twice about trying to keep the item. He had to assume it was like a bomb or highly dangerous weapon. His eyes switched to Lilith as his suspicion grew about her. It seemed by Oren's body language he was not trusting of Lilith even though they seemed to have some sort of relationship.

He was about to persist in his view as a Ranger but as he looked away from the others and down at the mask he saw one of its eyes staring back up at him. The voice combined with the information that Oren had given him about the jedi's own artifact was enough. Dropping his raised hand as the other two closed the distance to the mask. Taking a few steps back he pulled the hilt of the lightsaber he had taken from the Sith on Coruscant. Keeping it inactive his eyes would dart between the mask and the two vibro-sword 'dismantlers' since the only thing to stop them would be using force.

While dramatic, the method for how the mask had been embedded into the ground and planet itself had been accurate. The full force of a turbolaser blast hadn't been able to even scratch it, so even normal blades would not have an effect on it. There WAS one thing that they could do, though: move it. As the blades struck the mask, even just the barest jolt was enough to knock it from where it was stuck. At the end of the day, that's all the mysterious presence needed, was for his tool to become undone from the surprise prison it had been forced into those thousands of years ago. As the ground cracked around the mask, the surge of absolute power in the Force would reveal the truth to the situation.

Mandalore had been rendered a wasteland, yet despite attempts at restoration, it had never been able to recover. When the Mask of the Eternal had been embedded in the planet, it had formed a block for the natural flow of the Force, causing it to build up behind it as the Force tried to begin the process of healing the damage done. Mandalore became a wasteland, with what little bits of power that could slip through being tainted and corrupted by the Dark Side. All the battles and struggles since then had only added to the blight on this world. The pressure behind the mask, when given even just a bit more leeway to escape from it being moved, exploded out from around all of them as the Force surged to be free of its unintended prison, to infuse the planet and begin healing it.

An impossible number of tree roots came from the crater, growing exponentially as they burrowed through dirt and metal alike. All of the latent corruption in the world, having been built up over thousands of years from the Mask and various other tragedies and aggression, twisted these roots and the Force in general as it pulsed free, the roots turning dark and growing sharp thorns the size of a man's torso, and was still only growing in size. One of these roots came at each of the men and women still in the crater and around it, as well as intentionally going to try to pierce the unconscious Mandalorians still laying around. Without help, their deaths were assured.

As for the Mask, it went flying up and away into the air in a nest of writhing roots, disappearing into the mass of trees that were beginning to grow through the streets. In mere minutes they would start to rival the size of the giants covering the famous moon of Endor. The surge of the Force was spreading from beyond the boundary of the city, flowing everywhere that the devastation had touched to bring new, if tainted, life to Mandalore. As this all happened, that voice could be heard laughing, gleeful at this new challenge and story that was being created, just for him. At the very least, his creation was now free. How annoying it had been, that the loss of one had made all the others inert.

Since whatever it was didn't reply, and Lilith was prepared for an attack, she simply dodged the root when it came at her. As she did she noticed more roots heading towards the unconscious, and she knew Oren needed to deal with the mask but wouldn't want death, so she summoned a Force push. She made it wide and go as far as possible, to knock the roots off course and save the few unconscious she could. It'd also act as a follow up defense for her, in case anything came at her right after she dodged. So would her lightsaber, as she finally ignited it.

Well his sword was still in one piece and so was he but it was a strangely near thing. Pulling back after the mask moved, he worked hard to dodge the incoming... tree roots? Branches? Honestly none of this shit made any sense but they were dealing with an evil mask that could apparently have an eye sometimes but not all the time? And spoke into the minds of those around it?

It's powers were inconsistent to say the least.

One of the roots came right at him but he jumped to one side to avoid it's... woody grasp? It was strange that dodging plant-life didn't seem too far from the norm for him these days.

Honestly, he had read up about the Mask and he'd heard that it was possessed by the previous users and that it was naturally strong with the Dark Side of the Force but right now it was acting like it had enough power to outshine the old Emperor, Vader and Kylo Ren all combined and if that was the case then how had it not already taken over the Galaxy?

Whatever it was however, it didn't really need to make sense. All it needed to be was something he could destroy, lock away, banish or otherwise keep out of the hands of the Sith. Jumping up, he stabbed his sword into one of the trunks of the rapidly growing trees, shooting up off the ground with the ride he had hitched.

So he was riding a rapidly growing super tree in a city surrounded by unconscious (and likely now crushed by growing trees) Mandalorians while Oren presumably made out with his Sith girlfriend.

... had he taken a tote off of Hannibal's special stash or something?

"Stupid Sith Mask... making me cling onto... rapidly growing tree... like some kind of fairy-tale story..."

Things had begun to take a turn for the uncanny as the Mandalorian and Max struck down on the mask, and like he had suspected it didn't destroy it, but caused something he did not expect. Branches began to pour out in strange twists and turns, spikes for roots seemed hellbent on destroying them all as the mask went surging into the air.

But, Oren had been prepared, lightsaber drawn, he nodded to Lilith as she used the force to save herself and the others around them. Oren would use his ignited blade leaping forward as his white blade cut away at the attempts of the vines. He'd latch on, attempting to jump from piece to piece as the abomination seemed to expand and grow. Whatever this was, the Jedi Master had little understanding of it.

But, he could feel the darkness, and knew that it needed to be destroyed. "I'm following right behind you," he'd call out to Max as he leapt from branch to branch, his purified lightsaber still burning and alive--ready for anything that could come their way.

Roland was worried about accidentally getting cut by the Mandalorian and the Jedi with their vibroblades one moment, and then a groteqsue series of roots were rising out of the ground the next. The first thing that happened was his hand drawing forth the crimson bladed lightsaber in time to cut a root that reached for him. The second was his jetboots igniting allowing him to come off the ground and delay the tendrils reaching towards him.

Seeing the mask rise above him he knew he it was the key tying everything else together. The propulsion near his ankles flared and he rushed off after it, keeping with it and intent to not let it out of his sight. As he rose he could swear he laid eyes on the same man from earlier but he was on the roof. At the speed the roots were moving he guessed even the swiftness of the suspected Sith was going to be at a loss catching up and so paid him no mind.

After a quick adjustment he made sure he was in flying mode. While not as overall fast as a jetpack he had a more nimble movement as debris and other roots surged around him. <"Get out of here!"> He'd yell to those that could still hear him between cleaving strokes of the sith weapon in his hands. You're not getting away that easy Roland was busy dodging and focusing on keeping pace he didn't realize the Jedi that had hitched a ride.

The mask was not destroyed as Adenn had hoped. however, a new and more interesting phenomenon took place; the roots and tendrils seemed to burst forth from the ground, tangling and twistingnaround anything they could. This made the Mandalorian Jump back, igniting his wrist flame thrower to burn away any vines he could. Through the branches he saw the jedi Climb, likely after the relic. He was tempted to grab a growing branch and follow but he changed his mind when he saw the sith With their ignited Lightsabers. They would need to be kept busy..
The Vod Ranger had pulled a crimson saber which Adenn had not expected, still, as long as he was on his side Adenn wasnt worried. He called out to Roland;
"darjetii enteyor va pabida ibac kalha!"
[The sith must not get the mask!]

One of the Sith.

No you fool! Destroy the Jeedai.

We cannot fall into the hands of the Mandalorians.

Destroy this pitiful world.

No! They are the enemy of the Jedi. They have served us well.

Destroy them all.

LEAVE this place.

Voice after voice argued. Not out loud. No one around the Eternal—not the lord of the new Sith, but the ancient ones, the spirits contained with the mask dating back before the time of the First Sith—could actually hear what was being said. But now that the Eternal ones were awake again, for the first time since the old wars, it was a chaotic mess of voices, each more stubborn than the last.

But eventually that final voice cried out, and the ground around the Jedi, the Sith, and the Mandalorians began to shake. The tree that stabbed its way through the grounds of Sundari shook violently. Leaves fell. Branches cracked. No sooner had it come alive, was it violently dying. The tremors in the Force that caused the chaos around Mandalore to begin in the first place left out one final howl, deafening to anyone attuned to the Force.

And then as randomly as it appeared, it was gone. Returned to the ground it came from. And the planet began to return to normal. The strange fauna. Beasts running wild, unseen since the days of the old Beast Wars. All gone.

So too was the relic of the ancient Eternal, the mask, in pain without a host but not yet having found what it was looking for. Now it was somewhere else. Somewhere beyond the rim. And in the air around where it once was in Sundari, there was nothing more than a feeling. Something was off. It was a darkness, but unlike anything any of the Jedi had ever felt.

Even to the Sith, this was something else. Something beyond Exegol, beyond Palpatine, beyond anything that any Sith had ever known.

And so, as it had for eons, it waited. But not for much longer.

Max had a surge through the Force, a feeling on impending doom, and it was all he needed to leap backwards off of the tree. Trusting himself to the Force, he fell through the air, watching as the tree began to decay and crack. Using the Force to harden himself physically and to slow his descent, he slammed into the ground of the street a few meters behind Oren, the ground cratering ever so slightly around him as he held the Force for a moment longer before wincing and releasing it's hold on him.

The shock of the landing hadn't done any significant damage but it felt like the Force had distributed that which it could not absorb throughout his entire body and he felt sore from head to toe. Still, he hissed slightly as he stood up.

"It's gone."

There didn't need to be any clarification as to what he meant to Oren since the other Jedi would be able to feel it as well. If it's presence before had been a gaping wound in the Force, the very fabric of reality and life, then it's departure had left a healed scar in it's wake instead. He turned to the closest of the Mandalorians, bowed his head slightly.

"I am sorry for the misunderstanding and I regret that removing the abomination from your lands caused so much damage."

Adenn nodded his head towards the Jedi, the man seemed Genuinely apologetic.. or maybe adenns soft spot for the Jettii was showing.
"Our people have warred for this planet for thousands of years, weve ravaged the galaxy and have killed, tortured and injured so many millions.... such deeds were bound to catch up with us at some point. And it seems the Great Destroyer has visited upon us this cursed thing. And for our hubris... our pride.. our planet has been prevented from being healed. We can change that here. But we need to remove that relic."
Adenn extended his Hand
"I am Adenn Rytt"
