Mariel felt her stomach drop, she heard about this guy, supposedly he was still missing an arm. Rumors spread among the padawans that he did it to prove he could take on any sith with a single arm, no cheating. Others said he was extremely mean for no reason and that all the bad padawans are sent to him. She wasn't sure how much of that she believed, but she guessed she believed enough that it made her nervous as she read her orders over and over again in the last four hours prior to meeting the Knight.
She was uncertain what to expect, was he going to be her new master? Was she bad and had to face him? Did he want to practice on weakling padawan learners to give himself a quick workout? All of these seemed like possible options, though more importantly, what were the other padawans going to think if they knew she had to go see him. Though that was already too late as she had approached the training room where she was told to meet him and one of her peers walked by, giving her a curious look before running off. Mariel sighed and pocketed her nalphone before entering the training room.
