To ignore the summons of the Eternal was tantamount to plunging one’s own lightsaber into their heart -- it was suicide. The entire cult heard the call and would answer the summons, regardless of where its various members found themselves; to do otherwise would be a ridiculous folly. Though few had personally laid eyes on the enigmatic figure who headed their organization, they still followed its commands without question. Today, however, that anonymity would be dashed upon the rocks of the Eternal Legion’s home world; today, the Sith Eternal would gather as a whole.

Ana wore, as many of her peers wore, an unassuming wool cloak atop an innocuous outfit. With the exception of a few pariahs in garish clothing, the cult was generally uniform in its appearance. She blended in with the teeming throngs of dark siders, but she recognized a few faces in the crowd, though she made no overt moves to interact with them as of yet. The Eternal summoned them for a reason, and, though the figure stood unmoving atop the balcony for the better part of an hour, Ana stood still, enthralled by the sight. This was a being of unimaginable darkness and influence, capable of bringing together hundreds, thousands of likeminded individuals to unite them under one unholy banner. It was terrifying and inspiring, and the being beneath the mask intrigued her greatly. Its physical stature was unassuming, but its presence in the Force was unmistakable; it was a thing of incredible power.

She made her way through the crowd, pushing past people who were, for the most part, taller than she was. Several listless gazes or irritated glances graced her person, but she paid little mind to them. Halting near Zarine (@Wit), she threw her hood back, sparing the woman a courteous glance before returning her gaze to the Eternal as he spoke. The two met on Serenno, their shared home world, in their efforts to corrupt the youth. It went… well enough, idiocy notwithstanding, so Ana had a modicum of appreciation for the manner with which she operated. Talak (@Phoenix) was here as well, and she sensed that he was finally at ease among their comrades. The two of them had survived a few ordeals together, and she was thankful for him taking her under his tutelage on the maddening descent into darkness. There were several others (@Ecclessey @Kenico) with whom she was not familiar, but she imagined she might learn their identities sooner rather than later.

The Eternal’s speech – namely, calling out the more vocal idiots among them – captivated her. For so long, the cult remained in the shadows, operating from the dark recesses of the galaxy. Yet, despite their best efforts, a few morons sought to undo their work and reveal their existence before the time was right. This man, this now-charred heap of melted gristle and bone, would be an example to the rest of the fate that awaited those heretics who dared defy the will of their leader. For a moment, Ana stared on in stunned silence, her mouth slightly agape in awe at the display of power. His words resonated within her, and she looked around to gauge everyone else’s reactions, even though the Force keyed her in far more easily. Zarine, luckily, was almost as short as she was, so a quick glance would reveal her reaction. Talak and others were far taller, so her observations were more apparent.

”Incredible,” she remarked, returning her attention to the Eternal after speaking for the first time in a while, ”Truly incredible.” She turned to look at Zarine, Talak, and company once more, a sense of wonder gleaming in her eyes. ”Isn’t it? All of this?” This entire building was suffused in the profane energies of the dark side and she gladly drank it in, still growing used to the newfound power it carried with it.

From out of her peripherary, movement could finally be seen from high above, though not from the masked statuesque like figure that had been watching down upon the gathering for Force knows how long. But it was a figure clad in Crimson armour, highly polished into a bright reflective sheen. Reminiscent of the ceremonial guards of the past dark lords, rather than the armour of the Sith's former legions. Pausing in her assimilation of the contents of her acquired book, Alyse looked up an watched as the Crimson guard filtered through the gathered crowd, working his way to an unknown figure, who appeared to be close to the source of the abrupt hollering.

Reaching for her wine, the blonde cultist rose to her feet, as she watched the Guard select a rather brutish looking man from the depths of the crowd and lead him up the stairs towards the masked figure. One that she would now, given the presence of the Crimson guards - could only presume to be the actual embodiment of The Eternal.

In silence Alyse watched with keen interest, as the booming voice of the Eternal rang out over those gathered in the hall, cutting all conversations short, directing all attention onto the presented Warrior of the Sith. The man's face appeared to gloat as the Eternal built him up to be the champion that would lead the crusade against the Jedi and the Corrupt, his pride building up to be his downfall. A wry knowing smile crossing the blondes features as she watched sparks of lightning spring forth from the Eternals hands and onto the unsuspecting cultist, cutting an sharp and pain ridden end to the man's arrogance.

Her attention moved away from the severed and smoking mass of contorted sineu fused with the molten strands of fabric that had fused into the smouldering corpse, and focused solely onto The Eternal, as it continued in its address. - making no effort to hide the underlying threat carried in its words of caution to those gathered that sought to wage open war against the galaxy to wrestle control once again for the Sith. Alyse's lips pursed in thought as her mind focused on the message presented by the Eternal, the fact that they were the executors and executrixes of the Force's will, agents of change in a Galaxy that had so readily grown stale and stagnent in thier allusions of peace.

Though despite the chatter and murmuring that rippled throughout the assembled crowd, the blonde haired cultist remained silent. Her gaze periodically shifting away from the masked figure above them, and over the movements of the cultists who appeared to continue milling about. Mostly out of natural instinct, the sight of movement warranting her attention. Though her glances were fleeting for a moment, Alyse's attention soon returned to the Eternal, suspecting that the initial address was only just the beginning of what was yet to come.

Zarine was quietly observing the proceedings, raising an eyebrow as a brightly dressed fellow kicked in the door to barge in with, of all things, a keg under his arm. But if she thought he was pulling a Jar Jar, a voice shouted out demanding violence. She was surely learning a lot about her brethren today, and so far none of it seemed positive.

So when the dark haired man approached her and came to a stop next to her, she was expecting the worst, almost praying that it wasn't another moron. But what he said ended up intriguing her instead. She knew of one other follower of the Eternal on Serenno, so this man's claim was a pleasant surprise. And going by his reaction to the going-ons around them she got the feeling he might be better off than some of the fools gathered here. "Zarine," she finally replied, giving him a nod while continuing to observe things, "Zarine Bashere. Pleased to make your acquaintance Kotor."

She was about to say more when she noticed the arrival of two others, two that she did in fact know. Unsure of whether Talak and Ana knew each other, and realizing that she was suddenly the only one who in some way knew everyone present, she was about to begin with a round of introductions when the Eternal finally began speaking.

What happened next left Zarine speechless. Looking back it should have made perfect sense, what else should she have expected from the Eternal? But in that moment, after having seen and heard what she had, she hadn't been sure what to expect from the Eternal. But their words were clear, backed up by actions that couldn't leave any shred of doubt. Like Ana she was left with her jaw hanging open in surprise, which slowly morphed to a soft chuckle of incredulity.

"Yes," she replied to Ana, an admiring and excited smile on her lips, "that's definitely one word for it." That soft chuckle left her lips again, pure pleasure behind it. In that one action she had learned so much about the Eternal, the loyalty that had been instilled in her through only second hand knowledge now backed up by first hand experience. This was definitely someone she could follow. "What are you drinking? I think I need a drink after that." She glanced at Talak and Kotor, noticing a drink in Talak's hand. "What about you, boys? A toast?" For our fallen idiot, she thought to herself, continuing to smile despite herself.

Kotor nodded to echo Zarine's statement before the others arrived. The first one (@Phoenix) seemed kind, but all Kotor could do in reply was shake the hand and say "Kotor," before a second (@Painus) appeared, revealing herself by throwing back her hood before they all turned to gaze at the Eternal.

Kotor felt a certain dread when the Eternal began introducing 'the warrior' and when the lighting sparked the dread morphed into a sense of calm, yet also awe and even more dread. He had been taught to revere the Eternal and while it had seemed like an ordinary humanoid at first, it was clear now that the Eternal was everything he had expected it to be. True devotion to the shadow and someone with a plan incomprehensible by mere mortals. Kotor was almost consumed by the desire to follow in the Eternal's example and to stab a certain few cultists in the back, but it was the newest newcomer's words that held him at bay. "Yes," he said only a split second after Zarine (@Wit). "Some of us need to be watched-" his gaze shifted towards a group that seemed to have liked the idea of striking against the Jedi, before one of them got electrocuted, ofcourse, "-closely."

Because of all the new impressions and grave thoughts running through Kotor's brain, it took a second before he registered Zarine asking him if he wanted something to drink. He was confused now more than ever. Was this it? Did the Eternal call them all here to kill one man and then have a drink before we all returned to our own worlds? Why didn't he order them to separate the fools from the devout and assure the cherished secrecy of the cult? It took him a moment to push these thoughts back and return Zarine's smile, "I think I saw a bottle of Tionese wine-" a taste he favored, but also something he saw in the hands of a Muun (@Malon) who he for some reason seemed unable to forget. "-with that Muun over there." It was easy to find the one person who had refused to mix with the crowd.

A dull murmur had settled over the crowd, but the message seemed to have been received. As one would expect, further incidents would be dealt with harshly, and it could only be assumed that the remaining members would conduct themselves with discretion from here onward.

While we need to remain secret, it's time for us to begin gathering resources and expanding our interests to ready for our coming purge, it said. They all knew - or at least should have known - what the goal was. They were going to begin destroying the societies that suppressed the wider galaxy, but to do that was no small or simple task.

They had already begun the search for the original Mask, and that would continue, but there were other matters that yet needed attending to.

We need to be able to move freely around the galaxy, and to that end I leave you your first task: find the lost hypergates and you will be rewarded, it said. The hypergates had been lost for years, but whoever found them - no small task, and likely one to incite competition between those gathered here - would be given prestige and power.

And second, we will need allies in the galaxy. Politicians, soldiers, and more Force users that can bolster our ranks. We need to begin building a network to execute our mission, it said. There was a standing order to bring Jedi to the true side of the Force, but influence on major worlds or worlds that could allow subtle passage of their forces would be invaluable. It would allow them to strike when the time was right and continue to move about unseen. The Eternal would be watching those who heeded the call. Only those who saw tasks through and took charge would rise through the Sith Eternal.

Rowa listened to The Eternal's Message...his Mission...his Design. He nodded quietly as he heard what they were supposed to do. He drew in the thoughts as he began to formulate what he could do to contribute in these endeavors, I will have to revisit old haunts in the core, he thought to himself, Maybe there in the archives I could find these Hypergates the Master speaks of. And while I am there I may assist my fellow Brethren in their efforts to sway planets and their governments. He let his mind think of what he could do while his mask hid the pursed lips and raised eyebrows that were dancing across his forehead. Whatever tasks the Eternal laid before Rowa he would execute them and the machinations of his fellow Sith Eternal's plans by any means necessary. Not for Glory, Not for Power, but because he was their weapon: Sharp, strong, and willing to be used for whatever purpose...

A bemused expression crossed Alyse's features, as the Eternal resumed it's address to the gathered throng of cultists beneath on the floor below. The mention of Hypergates, leaving the young blonde slightly perplexed. Though for the most part this was due to not ever having read, yet alone even heard of such a construct. Part of her was left standing wondering just what exactly these Hypergates where that the Eternal had charged his followers to seek out and presumably assume control over - perhaps they were some form of lost technology that allowed faster travel than hyperspace or some form of dark side powered gateway. The as to and what of the declared goal was lost on the young woman, however the only thing she could ascertain was that whatever they were, The Eternal had deemed them to be of importance.

Perhaps in time, and with a focused approach she would stumble upon these Hypergates hidden away in her ever growing library. What did bring the young cultist away from her musings, was the mention of the need of politicians. Alyse's eyes widened at the mention of the fact that the Eternal sought to establish a network, something that illicited her lips to curl into a light grin. This was perhaps one task that she would be better suited and placed for achieving for the Eternal's goal, having been brought up within the political circles of her homeworld, she knew the way that politicians thought and acted. Something that combined with the teachings of Darth Sideous she had skimmed over back in the stronghold's archives, she could put the contents of The Useful Bureaucrats to good use.

Whilst for the most part, her home of Bakura may not be a world of significant influence, when compared to the glimmering likes of Coruscant or Naboo trapped in all their grandeur. There was perhaps benefit that could be offered to the Cult's goals, with Bakura being sited as the last stopping point of the Outer rims before the Unknown regions, there might be an unrealised strategic importance for the Cult's forces to act as a staging ground before spreading through the neighbouring sectors and planets like Endor, as well as the possible use of the Shiritoku trade route.

All that was needed, before Bakura could be in a position where it could pose of use to the Eternal - was some house keeping, there was the matter of her Father and the remnants of the Cult of Locura to deal with, so they do not expose the presence of Dark Sider's with their misguided attempts to raise the new Sith Empire. Once that was delt with then it would be time for Alyse to inherit her position within the planet's governance, one that could help provide more contacts of influence like the Naboo Noble who sought to raise her house's standing within Theed's society.

Her brow furrowing in deep thought as her mind seemed to run along each and every aspect at which she could contribute to the Eternal's goals, she was by no true means a warrior or a fighter. But surely her up bringing within her home world's aristocracy would allow her to play her part.

Well, Korsak had expected a bit more bloodshed. After that imposing display with that unwitting target dummy he had half expected the house band to pull out blasters and start firing into the crowd. If it wasn't for the potential risk on his life, he would have felt disappointed. But he was not displeased with this opportunity to expand his own knowledge and power through the Sith Eternal. After all, how much could he learn and uncover by exploring the galaxy for hyperspace gates and new allies for the order?

It was at this point his muzzle began to contort into a grin as visions, schemes, and plots played out in his mind. He had Magos, perhaps that Padawan from Ossus could assist him in this as well. She had no idea what he was or who he served, and had so far proven to gullible enough to aide him. Of course, he would need more allies to help him locate structures that had been lost for countless centuries. He needed someone gifted in historical research and locating ancient sites, someone like...

"Ana DAmico." He spotted her as soon as he thought her name, the same human from their little Felucian debacle.

"Magos, it would appear Lady DAmico has decided to grace us with her presence."
He tugged at the Gungan's robes with the Force, lacking the physical appendage to do so, and pointed with his one good arm at the human woman. "Why don't we say hello, for old times sake?"

Korsak didn't wait for a reply, he was already making his way over to the human, his wagging tail and empty sleeve wagging behind him as he swaggered across the room towards her.

Magos was still churning after that display of power. Dissenting voices were not tolerated, clearly, and nor were those who revealed the order. Mustafar had seen him revealing himself to the two Jedi Padawans, and even siding them. And Ember, his new friend another Jedi had been shown his lightsaber willingly. He was on thin ice, and would be keen to make himself very useful to the cult. At least fear was of the dark side.

He was shaken out of his nervous revelry by @Korsak Wulpez . The Amaran tugged him along by the robe, taking him to speak with Lady DiAmico, the brilliant young lady the two had accompanied to Felucia. They brushed through the crowds Magos trying his hardest not to crush toes with his cane. Passing a young blonde, @Alyse TiVarnus he was uncessful, pressing the wookiee made staff into her toe. He personally did not notice. The thing was plain, maybe some sigils would be pleasing on it? He might even figure out how to imbue it with the force, as a weapon he could wield freely under cover.

The two reached @Ana DAmico and Magos introduced himself first, though he hoped Korask would match his slight bow. "Young Mistress DiAmico, it's a pleasure to see you again. We hope Brother Force has been kinder to you than he evidently has been to ourselves. So, hypergates, I've come across the term only once in my studies, and that's quite a heady manner, do you much on the Pre-Republican Epoch? Gree and Kwa and Tython and all that. I remember you being the studied type, maybe we could compare notes? Do a bit of digging around the stacks? We all need to make ourselves useul," he glanced at the charred man upon the dias, "As has been made abundantly clear. I hear Obroa is a good place to start."

Ventrik was unable to stifle a small chuckle as he watched the idiotic "follower" get charred to a crisp in front of him. It was clear that this Eternal was attempting to show off some of his power, most likely intending on intimidating those in attendance into blindly following him. Ventrik had no interest in being threatened into submission, he would ply his trade as he saw fit. As he took another sip of his drink, Ventrik's thoughts drifted to the young Twi'lek girl he had met near Dathomir. He had let his guard down around her, and although he had not revealed his true identity to her, he knew that she may pose a problem to him later down the line. Their paths would cross again, and one of them would have to give in to the other... or be destroyed. Normally Ventrik would not have had an issue disposing of another, young or old alike, however, this one was different and it gave him a bad taste in his mouth when he thought about it.

Shaking his head, Ventrik looked around and noticed some more familiar faces in the room. He noticed @Magos Otahn walking alongside some furry creature (@Korsak Wulpez ) he had not met before. Moving to intercept them, he finally noticed where they were headed, and he sighed. "Good to see you again Magos, I see you're acquainted with Ana." He gave the short woman a polite nod. @Ana DAmico and Ventrik had been on several missions together now, and while they would often get on each others' nerves, he had formed a level of respect toward her. Beyond the overbearing attitude and snarkiness, she was a loyal member of the Eternal and, more importantly, she was extremely capable at what she did. Quickly observing the furry individual, Ventrik gave him a quick nod of acknowledgement.

Ventrik turned to Magos once again and whispered quickly to him, "I have a mission lined up in the Core sector, we'll be targetting Chandrila. I believe you'd be quite valuable in such an endeavour." He ensured that he spoke just loudly enough for the furry creature to hear him as well, "If you're interested, contact me and I will make the arrangements..."

He once again turned toward the Eternal above, taking another sip from his drink as he did so. Ventrik had faith in the dark side of the force, but this... Entity... he did not trust. He knew that it was simply using them for its own gain, and he would not become a simple and disposable pawn for another's gain.

Rowa looked around and realized it was now nothing more than a simple party by this point. He gave a sigh, he had other missions to worry about as he quietly took his leave. He made his way to his ship and left the system.
