History to date:

The Family long has existed in secret throughout the galaxy, quitely pulling at strings, trying to make the galaxy a better place for the poor and opressed through peaceful, political means. This was met with only moderate success, though The Family did gain some power in many important political circles. This is how The Family would still operate, had Marc Shadel never joined.

The Family began to see violence when a young, former Jedi Apprentice joined and became frusteratd with its lassie-faire policy. He asked, and grudginly was given, permission to begin partisian operations on Coruscant. These operation were conducted under the pretense of gaining supplies for The Family to redistribute to the poor, which happened, but Marc also used it for another purpose: to aquire weapons.

After a few years, the Godfather, commander of all the Family, died of extreme old age, and Marc was voted in as the new Godfather because of his cunning and bafflement of the Republic's security forces. For several more years, Marc ordered the raiding of many a secret armory and aquisation of credits through many a "provider." Marc foolishly believed that The Family was ready to attack the Republic head-on and began what is to known as "the Coruscantii Revolution."

Needless to say, he failed, quite miserably. He was able to escape, along with a good portion of his "aquired" space fleet, guns, and manpower, but he still felt defeated and the reputation of The Family was irreversibly tarnished. He and the surviving leaders (not many did survive) were decalred war criminals and The Family dismissed as nothing but "an extremist, terrorist group."

Marc Shadel and The Family went through a period of nonactivity, until Marc Shadel, now known only as "The Godfather," gained the will to try again; this time a much smaller, less important target. He mobilized The Family, successfully placed moles inside the Planet's political, social, and military circles(something that The Family had been doing for hundreds of years to the date), and began to secretely win public support.

Thus the "Ord Mantell Revolution" began...(to be continued)

Okay, all Family Members, report the the thread, "A strange recurrence." That is where the Ord Mantell Revolution is currently taking place. If you have an idea for any other mission for you character, let me know.

Currently, there is an opening for anyone who wants to lead the Colonisation of Anobis. It is vital that The Family be able to feed itself and reports indicate that Anobis would be a perfect world in which to grow food. With the extra, we can give it to the poorer worlds to prove that The Family can truly provide for them. Minerals are also abundant on the planet and would allow for some degree of trade and allow us to mine for material to build up out military in order to protect the people from the Corrupted. This is truly a blessing for; would someone be willing to serve The Family in this way?
