The past twenty four hours had been hell. No one had technically told Kel Rollan he was banned from Free Worlds, but he assumed by the very clear pictures of him murdering and causing mass mayhem across Coruscant that it would be very wise for him to avoid the Free Worlds. Even now he couldn't be sure if Sector Rangers would chase him down. At the very least he knew a place to hide, maybe.

The world of Ajan Kloss sat before him as Kel attempted once more to raise the temple. "Ajan Kloss Control, this is Kel Rollan on the "Larbac", requesting approach permission." He sat there for a good while before sighing. "Kriff it. They can just shoot me down." The situation was overall confusing. Even if he was exiled it wasn't forbidden for people from the order to speak to him. He was just supposedly not allowed back. Kel pushed forward on the throttle, bringing the ship into the atmosphere of the world. He looked down at the world beneath him. It had been nearly half a decade since he had been exiled and the world was still as beautiful as he remembered.

"Ajan Kloss Control, this is the Larbac, approaching from the south. Requesting clearance to land." Still no reply. There was also no one flying up to meet him. Something was off. As the Larbac approached the temple Kel took a moment to circle the temple. "Kriffing hell." The temple was in ruins. Which would explain the lack of an answer. The exile rubbed his temple, this was bad. How could none of his old contacts here not have told him anything. He may have been kicked out but he still cared about the people at the temple. Spotting a clearing off to the side of the temple Kel set the ship down. If he was lucky there would be some clue here to where the Jedi had gone.

The former exile stepped off of the ship, a blaster strapped to his hip. Normally he wouldn't have dreamt of carrying a blaster on his hip at the Jedi temple but he wasn't sure what happened here and he didn't intend on letting anything happen to him. One of the hangars he approached appeared to be the epicenter of whatever had destroyed the temple. A massive gaping hole in the roof, and walls collapsing outward from the center. He wasn't a detective but he would have put money on that result. The former Jedi started making his way for the archives, maybe he would find some clue there.

THEME

Reassurance had come from some of the Jedi in the Order after Byron's return from Felucia. They seemed understanding but after Kessel the doubts within the man only swelled. It was just a matter of time before his next failure. He needed to face these problems and the consequences. The days of him keeping to himself and maintaining the ships of the Order as a scrappy runaway were long gone. This was a long time coming. But it was no less daunting. The U wing piloted by the Knight approached the temple. Days and sleepless nights had come and gone, hours meditating on his shortcomings keeping his body rested, but his mind was still troubled.

The Skylark Horizon had last been reported as approaching the temple during the events on Ajan Kloss. Whether or not it survived the attack was unknown but the ship and its former crew, BG-L0 were both lost. The Skylark Horizon's navigation had probably been what had contributed if not been the main source of the Sith's intelligence on the Jedi Temple's location. There was still the chance archives and other resources remained. Now that the Knight came in for a landing he could understand why. Fists clenched around the controls of his current ship, his hands relaxed at feeling the darkness that radiated out from the devastated site ahead.

One thing stood out to the man for a moment and pinged on his sensors. A ship roughly of light freighter design had just disappeared, likely below the tree line with just passive scans. But the Knight set his own ship a fair distance away, not wanting to draw attention to himself. If there were scavengers or looters they would be in for an unwelcome surprise. But Byron didn't need to make it easy on anybody to get the jump on him.

Landing the ship in a secluded area he would keep the U wing's profile below the trees and out of sight. The man's body shivered as he found himself leaving the locked transport behind on foot. The Knight had worked heavily with the comings and goings of ships with the temple. But now the hangar he had spent days if not weeks of his life in was reduced to a macabre version of what it once had been.
