The Errant Venture

The Errant Venture is a modified Imperial II class Star Destroyer that serves as a mobile shadowport that sails through space. At first known as the Virulence when under the Imperial Navy under the reign of the Galactic Empire. Some time after the Battle of Endor, the Virulence was captured by a human smuggler Booster Terrik during a New Republic operation.

Shortly after, Booster Terrik would paint the Star Destroyer red and rechristen it the Errant Venture. Over the years the Errant Venture would become known as mobile shadowport, with many of it's bays retrofitted to accommodate a large number of merchants, residences, casinos, bazaars, bars, a few brothels, and some other establishments.

The Errant Venture would be classed as a capital ship, but it's heavy weapon systems were sold for extra credits and also made the ship legal for civilian ownership in civilized space.

Over one-hundred years later, the red Star Destroyer is still actively sailing across the galaxy under a new owner. The Venture sails through neutral space as well as non-neutral space, going through the most well-traversed trade routes. The Errant Venture is famous among spacers, merchants, pilots, criminals, and gamblers. Particularly, the large haul gambler Lando Calrissian made in one of the Venture's casinos about a hundred years ago has become a local legend. The Venture gets a lot of traffic and a lot of credits and goods flow through it in and our, for those not interested in those, the Venture is also regarded by a few as a landmark to go sight see for tourists.

To import the Errant Venture from Canon and Legends into our Site Lore. To bring a potentially very interesting neutral setting for people to use, or maybe an asset to obtain if they have the means. Since it's canon history is lacking, using some of it's history from Legends as a base.
