The Derelict​

“In the deepest, darkest reaches of space, there is a ship. A black, cursed ship that has drifted in and out of reality some say for thousands of years. Those who built it held a dark secret within its chambers, but those that search are damned. Do not go looking for the Derelict.”

The object known as The Derelict is an incredibly ancient, hulking ship of unknown origin. Seemingly trapped in some kind of Hyperspace anomaly, the ship is currently located in a nebula at grid square G18, although it has drifted in and out of Hyperspace since roughly 11,000 BBY. It seems to have been built as a warship, although centuries of decay have meant at least the exterior defenses don’t function. The interior is a labyrinth of twisting chambers and walkways, making it all to easy to lose your way or your mind trying to find the way back out. Although, there is more than just getting lost to worry about inside The Derelict. Simple three-legged droids roam the corridors, an ancient defense system that still functions today, although at a fraction of its former lethality. The builders of this ship had obviously incorporated the Force into their society, although no kind of Jedi related information can be found inside. Despite being incredibly ancient, there could still be artifacts and knowledge inside The Derelict that could be utilized today.

To provide a mythical source of potential loot and knowledge to be used by myself and others for exploration plots.

If it doesn't function and can't be made to do so in any way outside of plot devices, I think it's fine without one, although the droid guardians could probably use one (just reskin something) and removable, functional loot might.
