The Battle-Ops Simulator

The Battle Operation Simulator, located on Cormit and Rhigar, is a piece of technology used exclusively by the Chiss to train its soldiers and officers in the art of war. While mostly used by recruits to ensure they are combat ready, the Battle Ops Sim is also used by battle hardened soldiers in order keep their skills and wits sharp. The Battle Ops Simulator itself is like a bed, a soldier lies down inside it in which the simulator closes up and hooks the soldier into the simulation, thus beginning the simulation. The Simulation is as real as possible in most situations, using various planets within the Galaxy as templates to improve upon. Though sometimes the simulations can be altered by the user to simulate more unique settings such as zero-gravity and reflective surfaces. There are also a host of historical battles, both Chiss and Non-Chiss, to select from in which the battle will play out with the user being themselves or one of the participants. Thus the Battle Operation Simulator is a device to be revered and used by the Chiss Expansionary Defense Force in order to train its troops during periods of peace.​
