The maelstrom of the Force that was Alexandria Voran stalked forward. The trespassers would be expelled. Her eyes narrowed on the pirates. Her mind singularly focused. In an instant it was over. The interlopers were dropping their weapons and putting hands in the air. Lieutenant Haradan introduced himself as Crix came sliding into the hall. Asminys. A sour taste coated her tongue. The Sith Lord who got away, the caged monster allowed to romp the galaxy again. Alex stopped her walk towards the pirates. She took a deep breath through her nose. The adrenaline of battle fading. Her eyes flicked to Crix.

“Wise decision Crix.” Her voice rang with command. “The people of Ossus deserve the right to judge their own. War forces us to choose sides, let them find out why their fellows followed the Sith.” She nodded towards the young Jedi Knight. He was rapidly proving himself to be more than the carefree youngster they all knew. Alex refocused on Lieutenant Haradan. “You…I have questions for.” A voice whispered in the back of her mind to take what she wished to learn. She shook her head slightly. No, she would not play that game any longer. How many years would go by before she stopped regretting what she had done to Asminys?

“You’ll be treated well, and when the fighting is over, you and I shall take a walk.” This was no Sith. The Darkness employed plenty of monsters who could not feel the Force. She suspected Lieutenant Haradan was not one of them. She wanted to understand why an Ossien would willingly follow Asminys. Locking him in a cell and hurling questions at him would not accomplish that goal. Finally, she turned her attention to the unconscious Kel Dor. Waves of Light seemed to wash off the Sith. She did not have the energy to unravel that mystery. The Temple Guard had already fitted the unfortunate soul with stun cuffs and taken his weapons. Ale cocked her head to look at him. “Crix, see our Kel Dor guest is secured safely. I’ll join you after my chat with the Lieutenant.” She nodded to the surrounding Jedi. She needed a moment alone.

Alex began to walk the Temple, listening to the battle wide coms. Ossus was saved. Cries from the various Jedi and fleet commanders rang throughout. The Avillion Royal Fleet was broken. The ships and ground might they contained either captured, destroyed, or retreating. From the sounds of it, a fair number of the Sith’s resources were now in Jedi or Ossien hands. Darth Caelestis was being brought to Temple. He apparently had some Dark Side blade that required identification. They would see to that later. Alex took another deep breath as she walked. They’d gotten lucky this time. The Sith had not known they were here. Luck would not win them the war. How thin could she spread the Order? She did not know but reckoned she was going to find out.

"Here, kid. Let me help with him." Drow told Crix as he went to hoist up and restrain the Kel Dor. The Sith might have fallen unconscious but Drow remembered that somehow a legless Asminys had escaped from custody once before. With how tricky the Sith could be, it was best not to take any chances of Crix getting cut down by an enemy playing chicken. As he hoisted the Kel Dor to his feet in a chokehold, Drow walked by Alex and nodded to his old friend.

A nod was all that had to be said between two Masters who both knew that victory in battle was only the lesser of two evils. They won today but people on both sides lay dead or dying outside or in space, all to achieve that victory. And all to maintain the status quo of the planet Ossus. It was worth celebrating but it felt hard to do now with all the death echoing in the Force near them. Celebration would come once the Sith were fully stamped out.

"You did good, Drastus." Drow said as he passed by Padawan Drahr with the Sith prisoner in tow. "I owe you a drink."

As the "pirates" threw down their weapons, Drast would deactivate his lightsaber. The battle was over and they accepted surrender. He was relieved they surrendered. Even moreso, that they could hopefully return to their people. He may have not had the same reservations in killing as Master Voran, but he believed in redemption. He would smirk at Drow as he passed. "Hope you have some savings, gonna get a round of the strong osik for us."

"Master Voran, I will escort his crew to their people. Perhaps they will be welcomed back with open arms."
He hoped they would. Some people strayed, but he held onto hope that this Lieutenant hadn't led his men too far. "You lot, with me." He would instruct the crew.

Some of the Mandalorians and Deucalians that had been fighting outside would meet the group at the Temple steps, and escort them to where the Osseins had waited. Ossus had stood firm and the Jedi Order had struck a decisive blow against the Sith.
