She wondered how Thaed did it, and how he didn’t shred his fingers like she did now as she completed the wiring. Wearing gloves made the delicate process of putting together the device much too difficult, though she was glad her droids sat with her while she did so, they easily lead a helping hand to the Inquisitor as she worked, though Arnine seemed to have something cocky to say every time she gave him a direction.

The droid hovered over her shoulder, shining a lighting onto her work bench. She paused in her work, eyeing the letter Reland had given to her before she ended his life. Her thoughts drifted long enough that her hand dipped, nicking her palm on a sharp ledge. Arnine did whatever was the equivalent to a droid laugh; she regretted giving him a voicebox to speak basic.

“Mistress, may I suggest a break so your human mind may rest?” Ebb rolled her eyes, the droid picking up on its Master’s silence, “I have determined the lack of a response means you’re pondering a quip, but can’t due to the fatigue you have placed yourself under in the last few days.”

I’m trying to determine if I regret refitting you.” Ebb spoke getting back to work, finishing the last touches as she begun to reassemble the lightsaber, carefully laying each part back within itself as the plans instructed. Ebb could hear Thaed’s voice echoing in her mind, telling her not to do anything too quick or stupid. The woman sighed, perhaps she was ready to leave the galaxy to its games.

There was a chime at the door and Ebb glanced over to the chrono, noting the time. “Dammit…” she whisped, finishing up the last decorative pieces, the lightsaber was complete, resembling much of the late Jedi Councilor’s that she had executed. Ebb set the lightsaber down and out stretched her hand, calling her black robe to her, covering her arms and shoulders, but not really doing much for the grease and cuts exposed on her hands.

The Dark Lord had given her a young Sith’s profile to review, a deserter from his other Order, Anthoni had found his way to the Sith. However, as Inquisitor, it was her duty to test his loyalties, as the Imperium has had recently issues with deserters of their own. She exited her work station and went to a room adjacent to her living quarters, a sort of meditation room, where she could meet privately with others of the Imperium, or where she most enjoyed watching the holovids of her daughter while she ran around the room.

Ebb rubbed her hands on her robe, getting as much grim as she could from in between her fingers before Anthoni arrived. She prayed for his sake, he was not late, she had an Order to annihilate.

"This is it Sir," The older man said to him "this is the High Inquisitor's home." Anthoni gave the rough man a short nod. For some reason he insisted on calling him Sir, even though the man must have been twice Anthoni's age. But he served his purpose, and with that it was now time for him to leave. Then almost as if he sensed this he left without another word, back down the hill and past Anthoni. With a sudden movement Anthoni grabbed the mans wrist as he walked past him. Sqeezing harder then intended he locked eyes with the man.

"The Inquisitor, is their anything I should know about her?" He asked, genuinely curious as to what he was about to walk into. Anthoni knew little about the woman, and he seemed to be the only one. She had a reputation and of course Anthoni heard the whispers, but if half of the rumors were true about Ebberla Daw, then he should rightfully fear her. The man pulled back his wrist and stared at the home, not looking at Anthoni. He could almost feel the mans fear, he could see it in his gaze.

"Only that if I were you Sir, I'd be scared down to the bone." Then he hurridly trudged on down the hill yet again and this time Anthoni let him go. Pulling on his black robes he continued his short trek alone. Within minutes he was at the High Inquisitor's door. Letting out a long exhale Anthoni held his breath, and closed his eyes, suddenly he saw headless body and heard a roaring crowed, then with an inhale he opened his eyes. He rung the doorbell and waited.

It was a short wait as the door simply creaked open as if that were the invitation. Anthoni pulled down his black hood and let it hang over his shoulders, then her ran his hand through his dark hair and entered the building. With the aid of the force he managed to feel Ebberla's presence, it was easy to find. He could tell the woman was connected well, Anthoni walked on. He found her in a decent sized room, her clothing was not clean and she looked so much different up close. Anthoni walked in the room silently, but he did not doubt she knew he was here.

In a second he scanned her features, as if sizing her up for a kill. She was a couple inches shorter then he was, her eyes where hazel same as his, her hair was dark, her build was lean and yet still looked healthy. He could tell she was in shape, and he did not doubt the woman was a killer. Anthoni saw that first hand when she executed Reland Gil.

"I was summoned." He said with a smirk that hid his true emotions well.

"Summoned? You're giving yourself a little too much credit there, more like..." Ebb waved her hand trying to think of the right word, "ordered...yes, ordered to come here, so we may speak." Ebberla took a seat on a chair and gestured for Anthoni to do so also.

"You may have some idea why you are here, however, I want to ask, why you are here?" she questioned, looking for a deeper meaning to his purpose in the Imperium, "I hear you're looking to leave, do you understand that if you do so, you will have burned all your bridges?" she asked him. The dark woman had looked into his profile st up by the Imperium and what he had passed on in order to gain the Sith's trust...well at least the trust of the dark lord.

"What makes you think this won't go unnoticed?"

"Summoned? You're giving yourself a little too much credit there, more like...ordered...yes, ordered to come here, so we may speak." Anthoni still had the smirk on his face. Right from the start this woman was looking to put him on the defensive, he found the tactic amusing and wondered if she did this intentionally or if that was Ebb's way, always wanting to be in control. Anthoni thought how she felt about always being in second place, always a servent to the infamous empress Andraste.

"You may have some idea why you are here, however, I want to ask, why you are here?"

Well it's certainly not for a vocabulary lesson he wanted to say, but he knew he shouldn't give her a sarcastic answer. Not now. So he opened his mouth about to speak.

But before he could she kept on talking and Anthoni listened to her, he leaned back in his chair. Giving the appearance of a casual nonchalant attitude. But Anthoni was all to ready for anything. He had no illusions as to way he was 'Ordered' to see the High Inquisitor. Something was amiss, they new about something, or someone.

"I hear you're looking to leave, do you understand that if you do so, you will have burned all your bridges?"
For a split second Anthoni's act fell apart. His grin faded away and turned into a blank expression, his perfect poker face. He knew if he left the Sith, then he would have no where to go, no where to hide. He betrayed the Bogan, left the Jedi and now he would dessert the Sith. After witnessing the execution of Reland Gil something stirred inside Anthoni, something he thought he lost.

Hope.

Hope for his soul, hope for himself and most of all, hope for his lover, Keiyara.

"What makes you think this won't go unnoticed?" She asked and Anthoni snapped back to reality as he realized he was staring at a plain wall. He turned his head to look at the Inquisitor. He had no idea. How would this go unnoticed? Did Anthoni truly believe he could just walk away? Of course not, but he knew he would try.

He had no answer to give Ebberla Daw, so instead he asked her a simple question. Turning himself on the offensive.

"Would you try and stop me if I chose to leave?
" He said as he stroked his Light saber, it was a subtle gesture, one she would only see if she looked closely. She could take that anyway she wanted, to Anthoni it would only reveal her character. Was it a threat? A question? A challenge? Or simply, curiosity?
