Description​

Terra Nova Shipping and Charters began with a single light freighter flying around the galaxy transporting cargo and passengers for money. Eventually, the small business grew by a few pilots as they banded together with the hopes of leveraging larger and better contracts.

Many of the original pilots were not strangers to the shadier, semi-legal side of space-faring with smuggling become a not-unheard of contract. Unfortunately, the business ultimately fell on hard times and it became more difficult for the company to make ends meet on its own.

That was when the company's founder, Terra Lanris, turned to Crimson Dawn. With a benefactor behind her and opportunity in front of her, the company began to take off. Publicly, the company is still an independent and growing small business. Behind the scenes, it is a front for Crimson Dawn activity across the galaxy.

Transporting pirates, smuggling stolen goods and spice, and providing discreet transportation to individuals who can pay, Terra Nova Shipping and Charters has begun to take off literally and figuratively. Tied to the Afterlife club on Omega, the two businesses together have become a beginning to end track for acquiring, transporting, and selling stolen goods.

The company is still growing in size, but at this point the company is made up primarily of light freighters and a handful of starfighters to provide "security" services to the company's ships. Most ships carry multiple transponders to disguise their illicit activity.

Intent​

This is a piece of site lore to flesh out the company that Terra has been running since her creation as a character. It is now a part of Crimson Dawn and acts as a front for various criminal enterprises.
