-COBRA Mod 0
Covert Operations Battle/Recon Armor, Mod 0, is a lightweight, high-mobility armored suit designed specifically for subterfuge operations. It has a built-in stealth generator that lasts for 20-second spurts and recharges after a minute, it is completely vacuum-sealed, and it has magnetic pads in the palms and boots to enable the wearer to scale metal objects, or cling to the hull of a starship. Its onboard 5-minute oxygen supply ensures that it is capable of surviving briefly in hard vacuum, and the helmet air scrubbers enable it to operate for hours at a time in toxic environments. The helmet’s HUD syncs with any weapons the wearer picks up, and makes targeting a breeze. Finally, the armor’s power pack maintains a cooling system that keeps the suit’s exterior at a neutral temperature, making it undetectable to thermal scans.

For all the armor’s benefits, it does have one massive downside: It is rather difficult to hide the bodysuit-style armor under regular clothing despite the body-hugging design, and it is only moderately resistant to pistol fire. The armor will not withstand more than three or four pistol shots, and it will barely slow a rifle round or blaster rifle bolt. Its best defense is its high mobility and stealth.

-M23 Modular Submachine Gun
8x25MM Submachinegun firing high-velocity caseless rounds. Can be equipped with a silencer and used with subsonic ammunition for stealth missions. Can easily be disassembled and hidden. High rate of fire of 800 RPM, decent optimum range of 80 Meters. Recoil control system minimizes barrel climb, making this a very accurate weapon.

-Lockpicking Kit
Self explanatory. Various models of slim, easily hidden lockpicking kits available to fit personal preferences.

-Demo Kit
Set of foolproof modular demolitions charges. Used for sabotage. Modifiable Fuze allows the charges to be detonated by remote, by time, by proximity, by tampering, or by any combination of the above. [Agents must obtain permission to utilize a Demo Kit from the Wraith or Knight Commander.]

-SP6 Silenced Pistol
6.7x30MM Silenced Pistol firing armor-piercing rounds from a 15 round magazine. Semi-automatic only. Low recoil allows for fast, accurate fire, and advanced silencer all but completely eliminates weapon noise. Decent range of 30 meters.

-R33 Commando Dagger
6-inch Commando Dagger. Ceramic blade and reinforced carbon-fiber hilt ensures that it is undetectable to metal detectors. Razor-sharp blade ensures high effectiveness against flesh and blood targets, and it is very accurate for stabbing attacks, allowing a skilled user to sink the blade between armored plates.

-R6 ‘Victor’

Heavy revolver chambered in .50 Caliber Short. High-stopping power weapon with high accuracy and extreme reliability. Moderate range of 50 meters. Holds 6 shells.

-HAS 103 Mod 1
Heavy Assault Armor made specifically for high-risk combat situations. Vacuum sealed. Magnetic pads in boots and palms allow wearer to cling to ship hulls and scale magnetic surfaces. On-board air supply ensures that the wearer can survive in hard vacuum or underwater for up to 20 minutes. Air scrubbers in helmet ensure that the wearer can operate for days on end in highly toxic atmospheres. Helmet contains HUD system similar to the A-5 ‘Interceptor’ Armor’s HUD. Armor also contains a primitive motion tracker with a 10-meter range allowing it to detect anything that moves and display it on a mini-radar projected inside the HUD.

Armor and soft bodysuit is proof against pistol and blaster pistol fire. Armor plate is fairly resistant to assault rifle and blaster rifle fire. Full-sized rifle rounds and high-powered blaster rifles, however, will carve through the armor.

-Garret R5 ATWS

Anti-Tank Weapons System. A 90MM Missile Launcher that fires a fairly typical shaped-charge high-explosive warhead. The Missile is ‘smart’, and can be locked onto any target greater than two meters in diameter, making it a potent weapons platform against all ground targets. The targeting system can be fed target from infantry targeting computers, allowing the gunner to engage targets designated by other infantry. The missile is not nimble enough to be effective against aircraft or very fast moving ground vehicles. Sight is 2x or 4x magnification and is equipped with thermal imaging capability, which grants the weapon accuracy even in dumbfire mode out to its 300 meter optimum range.

The launcher can be reloaded after firing, although this generally takes around twenty to thirty seconds to accomplish. While it is shipped with a pre-loaded General-Purpose High Explosive missile, it can be loaded with HEAT rounds or Frag rounds for increased effectiveness against Vehicles and Infantry, respectively. Finally, the launcher can be collapsed without removing the warhead, making it easily man-portable.

-A5 ‘Interceptor’
Medium armored vest designed for infantry usage. Wearer can attatch and detach pouches to the vest at will. Helmet is equipped with a HUD that is linked to the goggles, and projects Friend or Foe information, a small mini-map of the local area that uses the FOF system to display friendly contacts, and also syncs with the wearer’s weapon to provide real-time targeting data and ammunition count. The goggles are equipped with an electronic anti-fog and anti-grime system, which uses pulses of energy to wipe the goggles clean of anything that happens to splatter on them.

The armor is proof against pistol fire and provides limited protection against assault rifle fire, though it is somewhat restricting of mobility. As a final note, the armor and its components are available in black or tan. The goggles are slightly tinted, but utilize adjustable tinting, enabling the wearer to turn them clear in low-light situations.

-CAWS-12
Close-Assault Weapons System, 12-Guage. Semi-automatic Shotgun firing 12-guage buckshot cartridges. Effective range is 25 meters. Can be loaded with explosive slug rounds, armor piercing slugs, and stun or sting rounds, depending upon mission requirements. Pneumatic recoil dampers minimize recoil and minimize barrel climb. Fires from 10-round box magazine.

-M15 Advanced Modular Assault Rifle System
The M15 is a more advanced weapon than the M8. It is a bullpup-configuration rifle firing a highly accurate 5.56x47MM Round from a 50-round helical magazine mounted in the back of the stock. It has an adjustable cyclic rate of 400 rounds per minute and 800 rounds per minute, and is extremely modular.

Potential configurations are near-endless; it can be equipped to utilize a 80-round helical magazine and serve as a light machine gun, or it can be geared to use an extended barrel and computerized sight, enabling it to serve as a marksman’s rifle. Equipped with a short assault barrel and a underbarrel semi-automatic 12-guage shotgun, it can serve as the ideal close-quarters-battle weapon. It can be equipped with virtually any rail-mounted light, laser, sight, or grip, and thus is a weapon truly limited only by the user’s imagination.

-MP9 Modular Infantry Sidearm System
The MP9 Modular Infantry Sidearm System -often called MISS as a deragatory term regarding the weapon’s accuracy- is a close-in weapons system designed to replace handguns as the sidearm of choice for infantry. It fires mid-power 6x24MM rounds from a 20-round magazine. It has semi-automatic and automatic firing functions, the latter of which fires at a cyclic rate of 700 Rounds per Minute. It fires a Full Metal Jacket round that has limited effectiveness against armor but good stopping power against unarmored targets.

The weapon is infamous for its short effective range of 50 meters, and while it has low recoil and enough weight to eliminate muzzle climb in semi-auto fire, in automatic fire it tends to have unacceptable muzzle climb, and therefore, very little accuracy.

It is often issued with a red dot sight to improve accuracy, and while the collapsible stock of the weapon helps make up for the muzzle climb, most soldiers prefer the standard pistol.

Satchel containing 5 grenades of any combination of EMP, Frag, Flash, Smoke, Incendiary, and CS Gas.

-M8 Modular Assault Rifle System
The M8 MARS is a highly customizable rifle platform originally designed for the Republic Military’s Marines. It fires a high-velocity, high stopping power 6.8x41MM round from a 40-round clip at a fast but controllable cyclic rate of 650 Rounds per Minute. The rifle is effective against man-sized targets out to ranges of 300 meters, though in practical use it is rarely used in engagements past the 150 meter mark.

It can be equipped with a wide variety of tactical add-ons, from underbarrel shotguns to grenade launchers, pistol grips, sights, flashlights, lasers, and more. It is the bread-and-butter rifle of the Knights Templar, and can serve admirably in any mission in the worst of terrain and weather thanks to its high reliability.

-MEP5 Plasma Pistol
The Modular Energy Pistol is a fairly typical plasma weapon that is standard issue for all Templar Forces. [Even Templar Guardians have been observed to carry the MEP.] It is a high-powered plasma pistol rivaling a heavy blaster in sheer destructive power. It fires blue bolts of plasma [though it can be configured to fire red or green bolts] and each bolt is effective against armor and flesh alike.

The MEP fires from a power cell containing enough power to supply 16 shots, and it has an effective range of 25 meters. It has an alternate, high-power setting that doubles its destructive power and penetration ability, but it reduces the number of shots per power cell provided to 6 and creates fierce recoil similar to that of a large-caliber revolver, so use of the high-power setting is not generally advised. As a final note, the weapon is equipped with a laser aiming/tactical light combination under the barrel and tritium combat sights, enabling the weapon to be easily used in the dark.

The weapon’s downside is that it is sensitive to mud, dirt, and other detritus. It must be regularly cleaned, otherwise it will almost certainly malfunction. While a plunge into water will not affect it, as it is waterproofed and a plasma bolt will boil away all water within the weapon’s innards, if mud or sand gets into the weapon, it will utterly disable it and demand a lengthy disassembly and cleaning.

-Standard Uniform
Standard uniform containing black or tan combat uniform depending upon environment or, occasionally, a mix of both colors. Comes with standard-issue armored vest and helmet; both are proof against pistol fire and mildly resistant to rifle fire. Also comes with holster for sidearm. The vest is the lightest and most agile of all Knights Templar armors, and so is frequently used by corporals.

As a side note, unlike most mainline paramilitary organizations, soldiers are not required to blouse their pants. [Blouse = Tuck them into the ankles of their combat boots.] They are also allowed to wear baseball caps, so long as they are of a drab color similar to their uniform.

-S&S Utility Knife
8.5-Inch high-strength durasteel blade designed for melee combat and utility uses.

-Medical Kit
Self-explanatory. Medical kit containing painkillers, gauze, bandages, bacta, laser cauterizers, and other necessary supplies.

Templar Guardians
[Note: As this part of the faction is a non-combat branch that will probably be staffed mostly by NPC’s, there is very little equipment for them to use.]

-Standard uniform
A simple white uniform with a patch bearing the Templar Cross on each shoulder and a nametag on the right breast. Issued with a matching cap bearing the Templar Cross on the front and a second nametag on the back. Similar to military uniforms in that it does not restrict mobility and has multiple pockets for utility functions.

4) I want him in as an associate. Not a member, per se, but someone you could hire for significantly less credits than he'd usually charge. Then you can hire him for, say, 500-1000 credits a mission.

EDIT: Alternatively, you could pay him in items. :D Preferably NOT power armor or heavy weapons.
