APPEARANCE:

Standing taller and more imposing then the average humanoid. A light brown skin tone, dark brown eyes, and short black hair color his frame. While training and exorcise give muscle and definition to a thick but athletic male figure. Adding a little ink to his appearance. His right shoulder bares the his sigil. Both branded and tattooed. While the tribal tattoo on his left show the lineage as a native of Galtea.

PERSONALITY:
Large and imposing, in or out of his armor. Dax likes to use his size and gruff appearance to set people on edge. Most in the galaxy still respect and fear the abilities of a Mando. He understands this and usage it to his advantage. This can at times come off as cold and calculating when he needs to be. His training and experience have allowed him to compartmentalize this to survive. Giving stoic and pragmatic traits to his often cold demeanor. Spending a long length of time in a carbon freeze has also had an effect on Dax. Most of which have yet to come to the surface. But it's known even to him that spending years of time has had and will have tremendous effect on his mind.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born roughly 20 years prior to the "final battle" for the galaxy and defeating the last of the "Sith Lords". Dax found himself sealed away in a Carbon Freeze only 5 years later. The how and the why unknown to him. As much of his long term memory was effected due to the length of time he spent froze. The mando warrior was rudely awaken nearly 100 years later by a curious droid. Part of a crew of pirates. Confused, cornered, and filled with blind rage. Dax killed several of the pirates, before stealing their loot, ship, and the droid who woke him.

SKILLS:
A well trained and experienced warrior and soldier. Training from the age of 8 to hunt and track small and large game. At 10 he learning to shoot, scout, fight hand to hand and used a wide range weapons. As well as survival, tracking and basic first aid. Finally to round out his training with piloting starfighter, shuttles, and light freighters in his teens. All nearly standard for most mandos. Dax used them as a soldier for hire and bounty hunter prior to winding up in Carbon and returned to what he knows now that he is free.

Dax Rau's Beskar'gam

Although heavy armor is the preference for many Mandalorians, Dax Rau prefers the flexibility and mobility of medium armor. While still offering reliable protection and the intimidating presence of their signature t-visors. Rau's is a custom set. Using darker blue grey colors, rather then the red and white clan colors of old. Further customization has been done to fit his needs depending on the job or target.

LEGALITY

Mandalorian armor, though rare, is not illegal in most places. That said, wearing a full face helmet in public spaces is frowned upon, and often illegal in many core worlds, especially in or near government facilities- not to mention that many identification cards in various systems require a full face photo. This drives many strict adherents of "the way" to operate exclusively on the fringes of the galaxy.

Type and Coverage

Type: Light/Medium/Heavy Armor

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)
    • Head: A full coverage duraplast helmet with transparisteel t-visor
    • Torso: Segmented beskar-alloy plating over bantha hide undersuit covering most of torso
    • Back: Solid beskar-alloy plating over bantha hide undersuit, covering upper back
    • Lower Arms: Duraplast plates over hands, forearms, elbows.
    • Lower Legs: Armored Boots with duraplast shin plating and knee pads


Functions



Function 1: Jump Boots
  • This rare and expensive technology is able to propel a person up to 10 meters beyond what a normal person would normally be able to jump, especially when armored. It is not capable of sustained flight, and requires a brief engine cool-down before it can be used again (1 post cool-down).
Function 2: Thermal Undersuit
  • Thermal undersuits wick away or reflect thermal energy for brief periods of time. They are not nearly as effective as a suit that firefighters would wear. Most commonly used to protect soldiers from flamethrower weapons or short bursts of extreme heat or cold, and are only good for 1-2 posts of exposure depending on intensity. They are useless against blasters.
Function 3: Dart Launcher
  • Can launch a dart accurately up to 15m. This dart is filled with a fast-acting, short-lived sedative that can render near-humans unconscious, or a sedative tailored to one specific alien physiology. The dart is incapable of penetrating even the lightest armor, or even thick leathers. The dart has the same practical effect as a medium stun bolt.
Function 4: Whipcord Thrower
  • The whipcord launcher was a personal weapon that fired a thin fibercord whip which then wrapped around and ensnared the target to restrict mobility up to 10 meters away while remaining attached to the mount point. It was detachable with a second use of the firing button. The whipcord launcher was favored by bounty hunters, as it was easy to carry and use and it virtually always ensured a live capture, though it could be cut by a vibro blade with ease.

APPEARANCE:
Sin stands just slightly taller then an average humanoid. A pale white skin tone, blue-grey eyes, and shoulder length white hair color his frame. A frame that is seemingly cut from stone. As years of training and exorcise have given muscle tone and definition to his entire body. Which is also marked with scares, many of which from training.

As a member of the Knights of Ren he most commonly wears his black Ren Armor. Which not only disguises his face and appearance. But his voice as well. Making him an enigma not only to the galaxy at large, but his fellow cultists as well.

PERSONALITY:
Sin, or Balal. Is a cult follower of The Ren. The true nature of the dark side. It is his purpose to be an instrument of the shadow, the knights reference to the force. Guided by this understanding, he is led my his desires and emotions. To consume all the the ren places before him. To fight it's battles, and preserve it's tools. Using the wake of that carnage to feed his connection to the shadow. He revels in the feeling of combat, in using the gifts the shadow has bestowed him with, and his blade which the cult trained him to use. A feeling he believes he shares with his idols, Darth Vader, and Kylo Ren.

BIOGRAPHY:
Abandon as a youngling near the old Sith temple on Bal'demnic, perhaps as some manner of offering to the dark cult of old. Or perhaps sensing the darkness within. In any case, he would not see his mother until many years later. Instead the child wondered for a short time in the wild of this dark place. Until, perhaps lead by the dark side, he was discovered by Melkor Damask. Sensing the youngling's connection to the force immediately, the Muun took the child to the home world of the Sith Eternal cult deep in the Unknown regions of space to be trained in the ways of the dark side.

Sin, as he called himself, would spend his youth training. Learning to use a blade and the force as extensions of himself. Countless days of brutal training, cultivated skill and prowess. Along with indoctrination, understanding his place in the natural cycle of the galaxy. It was during these years that Sin met Myr, another pupal of the Muun Demask. Bonding in a small part of this, the two would partner. Finishing their training and becoming Legionaries of the Sith Eternal.

Soon after rejoining the galaxy however. Sin found his fellows without clear direction. Hiding in the shadows. He longed for something more, he felt as though the dark side did as well. He found Myr, and a few others who felt the same. Together they would reform the Knights of Ren.

SKILLS:
Training since childhood in the ways of combat and the command of the force. Sin is adept at several forms of saber combat with a style that favors form I. He is also well versed and adapt at the use of the force, especially the use of core manipulation abilities. He is also comfortable with the use of blasters and explosives. Rarely using them but still capable. Lastly, he is a reasonable pilot. Though it is by far his weakest skill.

Sin's Personal Armor


A suit of light armor made by Sin Windrider in the customs of the Knights of Ren. The suit consists of a worn silver duraplast helmet, modified from an original Mandalorian helmet. The t-visor and face plate modded with a voice scrambler, rebreather, and upgraded HUD systems. Inspired by the Sith Lord Vader, and fellow Knight @Adenn Ren . The rest of the armor being simple black jedi robes with cosmetic silver duraplast shoulder pieces, and black blast vest, over a black armorweave bodysuit. Giving an imposing sinister look while offering limited light protection.

Thought to be illegal in most systems of the galaxy, due to it's dark side religious appearance

Functions



Function 1: Voice Scrambler.

  • For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
Function 2: Survival HUD.

  • Reads atmosphere composition and detects toxins.
Function 3: Scout HUD.

  • Contains a 4x magnifier and Compass.
Function 4: Rebreather.

  • Rebreathers allow for a person to survive underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath. Generally this lasts for 3-4 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
Function 5: Armorweave.

  • Most often in the form of a cape or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered low velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.

DESCRIPTION
Sin's constructed his lightsaber as part of his training with the Sith Eternal cult. Constructed of polished black titanium alloy. Powered by a corrupted kyber crystal. The blade is crimson red in color, can appear to look unstable, and is of a flat or standard sword style. Similar to the fabled Darksaber. The dual-phase design also allows for the blade to instantly extend from the standard 1 meter blade length, out to 2 meters. A second button allows for the blade to switch from lethal to non-lethal.
