An old YV light freighter came to rest on the outskirts of a sad looking rundown city not unlike Mos Eisley or Nevarro city. The Outer Rim had plenty of examples. This time it was "Paradise City" on Hypori, Zann Consortium's huge failure next to the drive yards that the other Syndicates burned down. But failed as it was, many of ZC's "allies" still had assets in the city. The target of this particular trip in fact, The Pykes.

Walking down the ramp of the "barrowed" freighter was the Crymorah Vanguard, Covax. He'd stolen the ship and come out to his dump on the rim to get steal yet another ship. All part of a plan. Dressed in his usual gear, armed to the teeth and concealed by a utility poncho. His partner on this particular little job was a man that Covax never expected to see again, but was pleased see his face on the smartpad screen and not the business end of his weapon. AGAIN.

"Welcome to paradise, Edin."

It felt as if it had been years since Edin stormed that cantina with Gareth and found himself striking up a deal. In the end, Gareth was handed over to authorities and everyone was all the richer for it. The Firrerreo was using his merc alter ego, keeping the assassin profile on the down low. He was adorned in some standard armor, his blasters his strongest assets on him. He spotted Covax and gave him a grin, “Didn’t think I’d be seeing you again anytime soon,” He said, “Haven’t seen Aska in a while. How’s she doing?”

Edin was one of the very few people that was privy to the fact that Zaa Fenn wasn’t completely gone. There were several levels under Coruscant that still operated, “Congrats, crime boss,” He called out as he looked ahead of himself, “So what’s our play here? You know I work best from a distance,” He reminded Covax. However, he could adapt to breaking and entering if the situation called for it.

"Didn't expect to see you, at all." Covax replied, trying to tease about the Firrerrian's preference for ranged targets. The mention of his long time partner took a bit of wind out of his sails however. As it had been some time since seeing his sister from another Mister. "Enjoying her retirement, that's why you're here." He answered, a little more gruff then he had intended. But moved on, "You've been busy. That work about the Sith Lord, was that really you ?"

Edin was currently one of only a handful of people who knew, at least in tiny part, what the truth was about ZF and Covax's place in it. But that would change soon. Hence them being in this dump of a city. The two experienced kills started to walk down the not so main street from the stolen ship as they continued the conversation. Covax daftly guiding toward their target.

Covax made an audible scoffing sound. "Thanks, but I think it's more like condolences." He commented. Rebuilding was painfully slow. Made only by the brief rise of the Consortium. This little heist had the potential to fix both of those problems. "So, plan is to steal a ship from some Consortium loving Pykes to then take come spice from other Pykes." He mused. A wide smile on his face, not that it could be seen under his helmet. "I know you like to hit it from the back, but with any luck we won't have to shoot until we get to the labs."

Edin grinned at Covax’s opening line, “Be thankful you’re seeing me,” He quipped right back. He observed Covax’s face fall a bit at the mention of Aska. Had she died? The talk of ‘retirement’ caused his brows to rise. She didn’t seem the type to retire, but rumors suggested she had suffered some debilitating injuries that always acted up every now and then. The Firrerreo said nothing in response to the question about the Sith Lord beyond a playful wink. That was answer enough.

“How big of a ship we talking?” Edin asked, understandably suspicious. Sometimes Syndicate members tended to bite off significantly more than they could chew. The mention of the Consortium and ships reminded him of that entire debacle with Zann trying to trade with Senators. He had to commend her for the boldness, but it certainly painted a target on her back.

“Please, Covax,” He said breezily, “I hit it from wherever gets the job done.”

He gestured for Covax to lead the way, “Doing both sounds risky. If we steal the ship, it’ll set off a bunch of alarms and compromise the spice stealing. How do you feel about splitting up?” He had no idea how big of a ship this was or if it would need a crew. However, if it was a one man job each, one could steal and the other could be the getaway ship.
