PERSONALITY
Taka is cocky and witty. Decades of social interaction with species from all walks of life has educated him and earned him a skillful tongue. This had led him to be very confident in himself, and his past as a successful constable makes him think he can take on anybody. He’s very social and a natural leader, and this combination of traits often makes him difficult to command. He stands for justice and peace, and he believes honor and loyalty are the key foundations. So while he is a difficult partner at times, he will never leave you behind.
BIOGRAPHY
Taka was born and raised on Dathomir. He was the constable of a village on the planet until the Border Alliance was formed. A larger military presence inundated the planet and he was quickly relieved of duty, as his job was near obsolete and he was becoming old. During his time as constable, he met countless faces, combated a wide variety of problems, and fine-tuned his social skills and investigative abilities. He managed to maintain peace in his village for the most part, and he enjoyed that greatly.
However, with the looming threat of the Sith Brotherhood, Taka did not feel at ease retiring on a battlefront. Instead, he contacted some old friends he made over the past few decades and enlisted as a Sector Ranger. He now works to protect supply runs and trade routes to the Border Alliance from criminal gangs or worse.
SKILLS
He knows how to dual-wield pistols and is quite nimble. He is incredibly stealthy and observant.
STRENGTHS
Taka has a sharp mind and attractive personality, which he uses well in interrogations and investigations.
WEAKNESSES
He is quite old, and well past his prime to be an effective law enforcer. While his clever mind can help him in the field, it will always be a struggle to handle a younger, stronger criminal. He is slower and weaker than he used to be.
GEAR
Taka has two identical pistols, each containing different ammunition. One contains lethal rounds, and the other holds stun blasts. He has two holsters, one green and one orange, which he uses to determine which pistol holds which ammo (unless he placed them in the wrong ones, which spells troubles). He also carries around his old constable identification and Sector Ranger badge to show when needed. Finally, he wears armored leggings that increase his speed and athletic ability, which has declined with his old age.
