DESCRIPTION​

The T4-B Heavy Tank was designed and manufactured by the Aridus-based company Yutrane-Trackata. The T4-B is a class of heavy tanks that have been used by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War era. The tank is a robust weapons platform, moves using treads, having a turret that can turn a full three-hundred-and-sixty degrees.

As a heavy tank, the T4-B fulfills it's role quite well. It's a rather large tank that has heavy armor plating. It also packs a lot of firepower with it's dual heavy laser cannons and assortment of grenades and missiles. It is with this vehicles heavy firepower and armor that a T4-B can practically annihilate light vehicles and destroy medium vehicles without too much effort. The T4-B was noted to be capable of standing up to one of the dreaded AT-ATs, being able to trade blows with one and inflict serious damage to the large walker.

This did not come without flaws, as the heavy armor the tank is very sluggish and ungraceful. It's movement speed is slow and it's turret rotates on the slow side as well. The vehicle specializes in fighting against enemy ground vehicles and not much else.

Next is the cost. Even back in the Galactic Civil War era the tank was expensive and the Rebellion couldn't procure many of them, leaving them in fewer numbers. In the current era these are even more so hard to find as these aren't being manufactured any more. Some worlds may still use these tanks as part of their planetary defense forces, others would be mothballed.

Restricted. The T4-B is indisputably a military vehicle. Civilian ownership is heavily regulated on most worlds.
