The rappels released from the gunship and fell to the surface, though two of them "jammed" half way, leaving about fifteen feet between the rope and the surface. Anyone who was using said ropes would have to know how to safely land down to avoid any serious injury.

"You know the drill, gather your things and get your ass down to the surface and fall in formation!"

Roxton, wearing his Prime armor, demanded, having already gathered his gear. They were all told to take what they would need to survive for two weeks. It would be up to them though if they were up to the outing as he watched some of the Recruits went to the rappels as they had no other way to get down to the surface.

Allison moved as she grabbed one of the lines and jumped with her few things. Surviving for two weeks was one thing who she was going to be with she wasn't sure. The bog she had was tossed while she went down one of the jammed lines and dropped just like Jenna showed her landing in a crouch and rolling as she came up and rolled her shoulders getting her bag. She looked at where they would be and moved to stand in formation.

"Check."

Jericho, his deep voice automated from behind his helmet, responded to the Prime's call. His brethren faltered around him but the ruus'alor's hands moved with a calm assurance born of experience. Making sure that his blaster carbine was fully strapped into his back holster, he secured his beskad's scabbard to his waist before grasping a rappel line and, with no dramatic flourishes or shows of grace, leaped off the balcony of the gunship.

Jericho held on tight, his gloved hands sending him readily into the perilous jungle below. Estimating he was about half-way down, the rappel caught, and he was left suspended as the rest of the company slid down unhindered. Out of his HUD's peripherals he saw that another of the lines had stuck, but this was not the Sergeant's first rodeo. Jericho promptly released his grip on the rappel and fell, twisting his body so that his beskar'gam sent a plume of leaves twirling down to the forest floor below as he plunged through the upper level of a powerful rowan. Jericho, his reflexes honed by years of combat and training, shot upwards and he grasped one of the few strong branches that extended from the top. Jericho breathed a sigh of release; his beskar'gam was strong, but a fifty foot impact would've kriffing hurt.

Jericho made his way down the tree, reaching the bottom branches in as quick time as he could manage. He saw that many of the group had already formed up, but a few stragglers still made their way into position. The Sergeant dropped himself to the ground, landing efficiently and crashing into the foliage. Jericho drew his beskad, the blade sharpened to a razor edge, and cut a swathe through the dense undergrowth. Waving to the few recruits that walked in, he shouted, "Move, move! Get your frigging selves into formation!"

Jericho's strong build and imposing Neo-Crusader styled armor made him quite the sight to behold as he approached the group. Taking his place in front of his squad, who had all been selected for this 'outing' with Prime Dagger, Jericho sheathed his blade and settled in for whatever the commander had in store next.

When one Private was hesitant, Roxton shoved him forward as the young soldier fell out, grabbing the rope as he slid down the line. His hands lost grip as he fell a good distance before landing on his back on the ground, yelling in pain. Were it not for his armor, it surly would have severely injured or killed the man. Roxton only shook his head as he leaped out, grabbing the rope and slid down, once half way down, he released and landed down. It hurt, but he would walk it off as he landed in a crouched position to soften the pain. Once he was up and about, he saw the others were already rounded up.

"Good work, Sergeant Jericho. Sergeant Alison and Commander Marren, secure the perimeter and make sure nothing is in here with us."

He ordered, turning towards two Corporals and pointed his hand to them.

"You two, get this fallen Vod and give him something for the pain. It's what happens when one hesitates in the field."

Dani grabbed the rope and swung herself out onto it. There was a short feeling of weightlessness as she slid down the rope, then she came off the rope. She fell for a short bit, and braced herself for the impact. Hitting the ground, there was a slight pain in her right leg. Other than that, she was fine. She stood, and brushed herselff off. She wasn't a bitch for nothing. She nodded at her order, adn went about securing the perimeter.

Allison moved as she got her orders and went for the perimeter and looked around. She didn't know the other but she knew the commander and walked in the opposite direction of Dani. Roxten she remembered from the one mission with Mitya and had never really met a prime. This was going to be something good to learn from as she rolled her shoulders and walked.
