Strategy Time

Ok Jedi Masters and such. It's time for us to create and make our plans for how we're gonna deal with these attacks the Bendu and Shads are going to be throwing at us. We've already had them declare war against us and we have numerous places to protect. Here's the question I want us all to ask ourselves and also how we want to proceed:

1. Do we spread out and protect certain areas? or do we go on the hunt and find these persons before the wars are brought to fruitation? or do we do both?

2. If we split up, who should go where? How will we contact one another so we can make our arrivals not seem cheap?

3. If we go on the offensive, who wants to take whom with them?

4. What are some other suggestions and brainstorming ideas you can think of?

5. What kind of defenses should we begin to establish and rp to set up so they can't say we're cheating?

I refuse to have us constantly caught offguard and unprepared. We are Jedi and we are smarter than the Jedi of old who sat back and did nothing. It's time to put our noses to the grinding stone and get our gameplan ready and adjust it as things change.

Let's work together people and prove to the board that the Jedi aren't push overs any longer! For the Republic!!

Well, we do get the Republic fleet, if I'm not mistaken, so we probably have the most air forces even if they are spread out.

My guess is they will want to attack Coruscant more than anything, and our other important worlds. Bac no doubt knows IC that the secret base is on Hoth, so we should protect that too. Ossus is really important too. Baltimn to a lesser extent.

If we decide to defend we should split up amongst those areas, at least two masters per area, the best staying on Coruscant, then Ossus.

If we decide to attack, we will need to attack Kal'Shabbol or whatever that place is, and Shaderon, as those are the only two places the two ever use.

Also, how is this for an idea. Mandalore (new one), has just posted a bounty on Ussej. How about we make a temporary alliance with the Mandalorians so he can complete that bounty?

I liked that thought that came up in the thread based on Ussej revealing he was behind the attacks on that planet that got attacked first.

Well, as good as allying with the Mandalorians might sound, they hate the Jedi and still hold hostilities toward them. I don't think Duncan or Hoorex will be wanting to ally with us. PLUS, we have to remember that we aren't just talking about the Shads and Bendu here. We will have the Sith on us too and they will take advantage of whatever we do. I think us splitting up will have the best effects with the possibility to call others to our aid. We do have the Republic as well and I think wherever we split up, it should be important worlds to the Republic and not just the Jedi as well. Shads and Bendu will attack the Jedi but the Sith will attack the Republic and Jedi. We have to think of all our resources before we find ourselves in the same position we were in when Adena took control of the Republic.

Meh, attacking them isn't Jedi style. Niether is taking up that bounty, tempting though it is (Meh, I might just send Kallis after it.Muahaha.). I like the idea of splitting up, but we have to consider how many people we have to devide in ratio with how many planets we consider important enough to protect. Coruscant is a must, probably Ossus too. And anywhere vital to the Republic fleet (Ship yards and the like, I guess). So we put a handful of Jedi on each, and maybe keep the fleet mobile?

Building up anything without them calling us cheap is going to be hard though.

Remember we also have The Station that's location is undisclosed to everyone. I'm thinking we keep a few close together but set others off to other areas. Where we don't have a master to send, we send a few extra Jedi to that location. High numbers of Republic persons should be protecting Republic held important worlds. Also, we need someone guarding Cos Dashin though I need to talk to Bac about this.

Aye, I agtree with that too. To be honest, any plan is good. As long as it is effective. I think splitting up is a good idea but whatever works best for us, we should stick with.
