Very good stand alone story. I wouldn't mind at this point if he got his own 4-5 part series.

He sort of will. At the end of each arc in Star Wars, there will be a story from Obi-Wan's journal.

Gorgeous artwork from Stuart Immonen as usual. I hope he stays on the book for a while.

I really hope there is more to Sana Solo then what the latest issue has shown, otherwise I'm probably not going to care for her character one bit.

Two more preview pages of Luke on Nar Shaddaa here.

I'm loving how much ass Leia kicks in canon.

Looks like Chewie's gotta save the day. I wondered when we'd get back to him.

I wonder if that Holocorn is aware of what happened on its own or Shark Ti survived the purge long enough to record one.

I was meh on the last issue, but I liked this one. The Hutt collector was interesting, and I liked the scene with all of the Jedi holocrons.

Also interesting to note, for those who haven't read the issue: the Hundred-Year Darkness, or at least the name of it anyway, was canonized in this issue. One holocron said, "Once we were brothers in the Force. But from the Hundred-Year Darkness were born the Sith."

The scenes with Chewie and C3PO were really great. They have me looking forward to the Chewie mini even more. Luke is finally getting some lightsaber training! Just not the way he probably hoped to....

In general I was a little underwhelmed by the Showdown on the Smuggler's Moon arc, but I liked Star Wars 12.

I loved how Han, Leia, and Chewie had to use lightsabers in the battle - and how Chewie used two. That was awesome.

The last issue of this was another nice Ben Kenobi story, though I found it odd that Owen put so much together and knew exactly where he lived.

I always assumed Owen knew where Obi-Wan was. Presumably they've interacted many times before.

Issue 16 came out today. Not sure how I feel about the sudden art style change, but it was not a bad issue.

It's not a sudden thing. Marvel has been rotating a new artist onto the title with every arc. All of whom are well known and top tier artists at Marvel.

This bounty group isn't the same as the one at the end of Darth Vader #16. I wonder what there goal is. I don't think it's rescue.

Looking forward to Luke's first smuggling mission.

Well, from the Vader Down last issue to this one, it looked like a sudden art change to me. It wasn't bad, just I don't know how to really feel about it. I'll have to look at the artists and see where I saw that style before.

I haven't read the new issue yet, but I do remember the change between Star Wars 6 and Star Wars 8 (Star Wars 7 was the Ben Kenobi interlude). It was a little weird since the same characters and locations looked different all of a sudden. Not a bad change, just something to get used to.
