Yes, this scene assumes that Aezz survives the Event thread on Ruusan. No, that is not determined at the point I'm writing this scene, but I couldn't resist this visual so just enjoy xD

Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl found online shopping to be one of the most frustrating forays he'd taken on since becoming Kashyyyk's senator.

"What do you mean I have to make an account?" he grumbled as the Blackwell website prompted him to do so. "I just want to buy some droids! This is a one-time thing! Now I'll get even more marketing holomail..." he trailed off, muttering under his breath. In the wake of his near-death experience on Ruusan, he'd been inundated with ads for bug spray. Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl suspected it wasn't a mere coincidence and had already spent a large portion of the morning railing against marketing companies.

A aide hovered by, nervously, weighing when to step in and help. "Kashyyyk's military has an account, sir, if you'll allow me..." they said, requesting access to the keyboard; hopefully before the senior Wookiee could destroy another one. Grumpily, Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl relinquished control and pushed his chair back and away from the console.

"Back in my day, we did everything over holocall" he continued, prompting an unseen eye roll from the aide as they typed in a long stream of characters. "You knew who you were dealing with, not some customer service droid! Do you know how long it took me to speak to an actual humanoid last time I called Blackwell? I was on hold for hours!" An exaggeration, but the aide wasn't about to correct him.

"We're logged in, sir. Which models would you like?" asked the aide, heart sinking as the Senator pushed his way back to the console like a child at a toy store.

A hairy paw made contact with the glowing screen; fortunately, thanks to lessons learned from a prior short-lived experiment, the Senator's monitor was not a touch screen and was more durable than the typical model available to consumers. "That one! Oh! There's a sale going on." The Repulsorcraft combat droid would be suitable to defend Kashyyyk from a variety of threats. "How do we buy it?"

"You'll have to add it to the cart, sir" came the reply, which to the aide's dismay only provoked Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl.

"There's a cart?!?! How can there be a cart on the terminal? Do I have to move it around the store? I'm going to need more than one cart to fit all 2,000 droids. What if someone takes my cart?" Questions poured out of the aged Senator.

The aide sighed. He was not paid enough for this...

Clove was forced to sit in her soon-to-be-decorated office and scroll through Blackwell Technologies' sales thanks to her brilliant decision to use droids for the Star Guardians, despite having absolutely no droid knowledge or even a liking for droids. And there were so many of them.

"Hey, Bob?" Clove's gaze was drawn to the Twi'lek, who was scrolling on his datapad. She'd just hired him for droid tinkering and maintenance. Sure, it wasn't his job to give advice, but... She was going to ask for advice anyway. Especially since the compensation for hiring him consisted of providing him with a living space in the facility, food and drinks, and some monthly credits to purchase new items. If he was going to be a facility friend, she might as well treat him as one. "Hm? Yes, Miss Vanhoop?" Clove frowned as she turned the screen around tothe Twi'lek. "There are so many droids to choose from, which one do you think is best?"

"... Err. Well." The Twi'lek approached the monitor, gently pushing his glasses closer to the bridge of his nose. "First and foremost, get a Crisp-E-O for in the kitchen. They are excellent kitchen droids. For donuts anyway. And it means you'll need to hire fewer chefs." Clove's head tilted to the left, her gaze fixed on the droid's image. "Can it do anythin' else besides make donuts?" "Yes, it can make coffee." Clove glanced in Bob's direction for a moment. Well. Coffee and donuts would probably be sufficient for general snacks; all they'd need is a chef for dinner. "All right... One Crisp-E-O." She hummed as she placed it in the basket.

"The next one I'd recommend is that one." He pointed to a holo of the BAS-55. "They're on the cheaper side, especially now that they're on sale. And they are extremely dependable and trustworthy machines. I've helped repair a few, I like them." Cloved nodded, doing some quick mental math. "Okay, I believe we can afford twenty of those?"

"Deneb, in my opinion, outperforms the BAS-55. But it is also more expensive. I'd recommend getting three of those. And maybe a Hawking, just in case." Bob clearly began to get enthusiastic as he stared at everything on sale. So many droids he could tinker on. "There's also a lab droid for sale, which I think is pretty sleek looking." Clove squinted slightly, her gaze fixed on the plain panels. Sleek. Right. "So you should definitely get two of those for the lab. And a few medical droid, you never know when you run out of staff." Clove dragged them all into the basket while biting her lowerlip. It wasn't exactly the cheapest purchase of her life. But she had to remind herself that she could afford it; Galek's investment was there for a reason. And buying droids now meant saving money later because droids were a one-time purchase, whereas hiring organics meant paying them on a monthly basis.

"Well, let's buy them then! Thank you for your help, Bob." Clove gave the Twi'lek a smile.
