Well I was just thinking about security measures and I just came up with a good idea. How about we install new piloting systems to our ships and fighters that would make it impossible for those outside our military to use our ships? This really won't change anything other than making piloting Chiss ships different from piloting any other ship. It would make it hard for non Chiss to use our ships in case we got hijacked or something

Of course our pilots and naval operators along with those who operates on ships will be taught in the Chiss Academies the ways of operating those ships. It also might be better if we assumed this system has been going on for awhile so we won't have all our pilots learn how to operate ships.

I'm not sure how I feel about having Chiss ships specifically designed for a different style of use, but I do like the prospect of locking down our security.

Anyone can learn how to ride a new type of bicycle. Redesigning a ploting system can be hacked, felt through the Force, etc. There's a lot of ways to get around that. However, what we could do is implement a DNA recognition system, assigned to allow access per a submission of blood or something. However, this could cause issues with individuals in the Chiss Internship Program, and would likely only complicate matters.

I do like discussing this idea, however. Bouncing ideas off each other is a great way to brainstorm.

Well I never said they would be used in a different style, it is just that the ships piloting systems won't be that much similar to ships outside Chiss space so when someone tries to hijack our ships he would find piloting it somewhat hard. Of course I never said that piloting the ship would be impossible but still it should provide those who are trying to hijack the ships with a good challenge which would take sometime. We might not be able to make it completely impossible for the enemy to hijack our ships, but at least we can make it hard for them and use that time.

Also the DNA idea is good and those of the internship program could have their own ships. After all, the Chiss are cautious people and they would trust anyone even their allies but well if you want them to have access to our ships then I am sure we can make this work out.

After all hijacking the enemies ships is usually used in covert operations and sneaky attacks.
