Christophsis

Apartment 917, Dajina Apartment Complex

Kolran Targall sighed. He still wasn't entirely sure he wanted to go through with this. Shifting money around for anyone who paid had made him good money. Was his life really so unfulfilling that he was ready to trade an easy income for the dangers of a life of crime? Then again, his current occupation was hardly legal anyway- in some systems laundering credits would get you a longer sentence than stealing them. And he did miss the adrenaline rush that came from pulling off a job with the odds stacked up against him. Staring out of the window onto the crystalline cityscape that stretched out before him, he scratched his goatee in thought.

After a moment the Morellian turned away from the large window of the luxurious apartment he had bought. Having amassed a large sum of credits throughout his life did come with its perks. Kolran took a sip from the metallic cup of malt he held in his left hand and picked up the datapad sat on the kitchen counter with his other. It had been years since his last real conversation with Daska but he very much doubted that the Trandoshan had forgotten him. After the killing they had made on their last job it would have been impossible to forget the man responsible for leading the whole operation. Swigging the last of his drink down and setting the cup down on the counter, he swiped through a few screens on the pad and eventually tapped some digits in.

After a short wait, the hologram of an aged looking Trandoshan appeared floating above the pad, a cocky smile on his face. "Kolran Targall! I wasn't sure I'd ever hear from you again, you old scoundrel!" Daska said, his voice crackling over the transmission. "Hey, Daska! It's good to hear from you too." Kolran replied in a tone tinged with nostalgia, matching his old friend's grin. "I hear you're in the finance game these days, eh? I wish I had the brain for that sort of thing." Daska continued with a raised eyebrow. "I am, yeah. Credits are good, but that's actually what I'm calling you about." Kolran said, becoming more serious. "Oh yeah? Fallen on hard times?" The Trandoshan asked, his inquisitive nature snapping him to attention. "Quite the opposite actually. I've got wind of a job going down here on Christophsis and I hear you may be involved..."
